"Both, I want them to write a report" Luis said. He could not punish the officers, as they were simply carrying out their duty to maintain the peace and order of the city.

"Of course, Mr. Nardo."

.................................

“One of them should come with me to explain the situation to my friend."

"Sure, no problem at all!" Joseph exclaimed before looking towards Zizi. "Don't just stand there. Call Snith and Maxie right now!"

Zizi nodded with a frown and did as his superior ordered. Shortly after, he returned to the room followed by two men walking behind him.

"Mr Nardo, we want to apologize for our mistake yesterday" the trio said in unison. "It was all our fault, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused."

Joseph watched Luis anxiously and asked, "Master Nardo, what do you think ..."

Before Joseph could finish his words, Luis cut them off with a flick of his hand. "alright. That's enough. I don't want to waste any more time here either." His time was precious, and if he had free time, he would rather spend it playing games.

Luis walked out of the police station and was about to book a car when he noticed his pants pocket was empty. "Dam. What can I do without cell phones and money?" mumbling slowly.

While looking at the scorching sun, he let out a long sigh. "Would walking be my only option? But my position is very far from home, and the weather is hot. Even if I don't faint from exhaustion, maybe the heat of the sun will make me faint."

Tin! Tin!

A red BMW turned the corner and stopped in front of him. Zizi's face appeared when the car window was lowered. "Mr Nardo, please ride."

"How am I sure you don't hold personal grudges against me, especially after I treat you like that?" Luis asked carefully.

For someone who has never been in close contact with any woman, it is very important for him to keep himself from harm.

"Do you think I would hurt someone just because of a trivial matter?" Zizi replied in a flat tone. "In addition, I did make a mistake, so there's no reason to blame you."

"Good then," Luis muttered before getting into the car, he felt relieved and grateful for not having to go home on foot.

Moments later, a silver Cadillac stopped in front of the police station, and a moment later, a well-dressed Lia got out of the car.

He did want to teach Luis a lesson, but keeping him in the police station was too much.

The moment he stepped in, the sound of the bang of his heels caught the attention of everyone.

"Hello, miss. Is there anything I can help you with?" ask Maxie.

"I'm sure you arrested Luis Nardo during yesterday's raid. I'm here to pay the bail" Lia replied while taking some money out of her bag. "Here, it's 750 bucks. Please count."

Instead of accepting the money, Maxie looked at him in confusion. "What is your relationship with him?"

Given the situation, Lia thought it would be strange to say that Luis was his friend. Therefore, he said what he thought was most appropriate. "I'm his wife."

"O-oh!" "But we just released Mr. Nardo," Maxie hurriedly explained. "We made a mistake and caught the wrong person .. but don't worry, we have conveyed a sincere apology to Mr. Nardo."

The woman raised her eyebrows. "Make mistakes?"

Without waiting for Maxie to explain any further, he immediately turned around and walked out of the police station.

"Ha! Don't dream. Even though the woman is single, you won't have a chance to approach her," teased one of the policewomen.

"Hey, evil you, Jael," he whined. "I'm pretty handsome too. Do you think I can't get a wife like that?"

Yael grunted in annoyance. "Did you see the bag he was carrying?"

The man nodded. "of course. What's with the bag? Is it expensive?"

"My friend, it's a limited edition LV bag. It's very hard to get a bag with that color, and even a used one can cost more than 30,000 dollars."

"God! Luis Nardo is a very lucky man!" maxie exclaimed and immediately a feeling of jealousy permeated him.

As soon as he got home, Luis immediately searched for his beloved phone. He heaved a sigh of relief after he had found her.

"This is for you, Officer Vose. Please drink," said the man, giving Zizi a can of soft drink.

"So, this is where you live?" the officer asked.

He was very surprised when he looked around the house, because he thought Luis lived in a big house.

"really so. It feels comfortable staying here,” he replied while shrugging indifferently.

"Is it as comfortable as living in a big house? I think a luxurious and expensive house will be much more comfortable, right?"

Luis sipped his drink and laughed. "To be honest, I have some properties, but it's not home. Home and home are two different things. Sometimes, staying alone in a big place feels like staying in a hotel. The decoration is nice, but there's no sense in having it."

"But, don't you also live alone here?" ask Zizi. He had studied Luis' statement the day before and clearly remembered that both his parents had died.

"No, don't be generalized. There's a feeling that my parents live with me in this house."

Looking around his house, Luis smiled and thought to himself, "I don't want to leave here. If I leave, I will leave my parents alone. They're gonna be lonely, aren't they?"

"I think you're right," Zizi murmured while nodding lightly. However, the look in his eyes showed a feeling of unease.

Luis has an average appearance, but he has to admit that there is something unique about the man.

"Alright then, Mr. Nardo. I'd better go now."

Unfortunately, before he could leave, a woman burst into the house. "Luis Nardo's! I've finally found your house!"

When she realized who the woman was, Zizi gasped in shock. "Anna? Shouldn't you be waiting for me?"

"Huh? Zizi, what are you doing here?"

After overcoming her feelings of surprise, Anna continued her remark, "I thought you were stuck at work, so I came here alone."

"Wait first. Don't you want to take me to meet someone?"

Zizi started to feel anxious. His grandfather fell ill, and according to Anna, someone had an item that could save his life.
