"Franch office?" asked Luis with raised eyebrows full of question marks. However, as if a thought had just popped into his mind, he added, "Has the branch office's responsibility been decided?"

"Do you want to recommend someone for the position of the branch office's leader, Mr Nardo?" ask Hazel.

To be honest, there was intense competition at the headquarters over the position of the leader of this new branch office. After all, the office was prepared to enter the Cania market. Anyone who gets this position will win big and can add that achievement to their portfolio. With that position, the chance of rising in office would increase greatly when they returned to the headquarters. Some factions within the company had already started moving and exerting their strength in the fierce competition of obtaining this position. This is also the main reason why the company has not appointed someone to take this position.

"It's okay if someone's been appointed," Luis replied indifferently.

Hazel paused for a moment before she stood up and said, Let me call Mr. Smith to make sure."

Hazel knows that she is not in a position to make any promises or decisions about this. He could only pass on the request to senior management for them to find out. He would have really bothered when he was back at headquarters if he had directly agreed to Luis' request without a second thought.

As soon as Luis gestured for Hazel to call, Hazel picked up her phone and walked to a corner of the room. There, he called quickly and secretly. Not long after, he hung up the phone and walked back to Luis.

Without hesitation, Hazel took out a sealed secret document from her briefcase and handed it to Luis as she said, "I just spoke to Mr. Smith about this, Mr. Nardo. The CEO said to hand you the authorization contract. From now on, you will have full oversight and authority rights to decide who will be responsible for leading the branch office."

"Oh? That's fast ..." Luis was shocked for a moment after hearing all this. He had not expected Carlos to grant his request so easily.

"Mr Smith believes in your judgment," Hazel replied with a smile.

Although Carlos forgetfully remembered the proverb he had heard, he fully understood the fact that it would be extremely detrimental for someone to offend the long-ruling local authority, even though his position was stronger then. Therefore, given that they were going to open a branch office in Malatam, the most reasonable move for Carlos was to refrain from offending Luis in any way.

"The gift Mr. Smith has prepared for you will arrive in about two days. We will stop by with the gift when it's ready" Hazel said as she got up from her seat.

"Sure! What if you stay to eat?" ask Luis politely.

"Thank you for the offer! I have to turn it down for now because I have some work to do" Hazel replied as she hurriedly waved and said goodbye to Luis.

Hazel walks out of Luis' house and is about to leave when she sees Keysia's car still parked nearby. Hazel hesitated for a moment before she walked over and opened the door. However, he was immediately greeted by the sight of Keysia smoking. With a puff of smoke swirling endlessly around her, Keysia truly looked as holy and mysterious as the painting of a goddess coming to life.

Hazel calls to say hello, "Hi, Keysia!"

Keysia gestured for Hazel to get into the car. Although Hazel wanted to sit in front, she did not dare and eventually decided to sit in the back seat.

Keysia casually asked, "Why are you looking for Luis?"

"You know Mr Nardo?" ask Hazel in surprise.

"I was the one who brought him home."

"Ah, I understand!" hazel replied as she nodded her head before she added without hesitation, "Mr Nardo is one of the directors in Hennerik Industry. The company has some minor issues and we need his help."

"He's the director of Hennerik Industries?" asked Keysia in surprise. He realized that this was nothing small.

"That's right. He was one of the ten directors of the company," Hazel replied as she nodded before adding, "Don't you want that car, Keysia? I'm sure he can get it for you. He just needs to ask for you."

"Oh? Does he have a lot of connections at the center?" asked Keysia in surprise.

"Well .. actually it's not quite right. However, the words and requests made by a director like him are ultimately more influential than the words of someone like me" Hazel admitted.

According to Hazel's view, if Carlos was willing to let Luis have the authority to decide who would be in charge of the branch office, it would be very easy for Luis to get the car Keysia wanted. It's not impossible, as long as Luis asks for it.

"You know how much about Luis?" ask Keysia.
