A Mate is Never Wrong
Historic Day.

The day that Ulan and Jefry were waiting for finally arrived. Ulan wakes up early so excited to welcome his wedding day with Niko.

Jefry is too. Although he sleeps late last night because he is busy trying to find out the identity of the person who sent a mysterious message to his daughter, Jefry can finally wake up early with a less excited body.

Unlike Jefry and Ulan, Angelina wakes up in a forced state. Angelina hopes something unlikely will happen the day after, for Ulan and Niko's marriage to be annulled.

As a parent obviously Angelina did not accept her daughter being betrayed by her own husband and stepson. Wanting to show proof of the recording Fanny gave her the other day, Angelina worried that Jefry or Ulan would do something to hurt Fanny. In addition, Angelina has not obtained concrete evidence to expose the mistakes of her husband and stepson.

On the other hand Niko and Handoko were sitting together in the living room. Others may rejoice in welcoming a historic day in life. In contrast to Ulan and Jefry who are so enthusiastic about welcoming today, Handoko and Niko are not very excited. They even still wore sleeping robes while enjoying coffee and breakfast.

"If I could, I would have Darius deputize me to sit in the undercarriage" Niko said, looking at the man who was always neat and standing not far from her, "you want to replace me to marry Ulan?"

Handoko, Niko and Brian laughed.

With a red face from holding back a laugh Darius replied, "Whatever it is, I will sincerely do if I can, Sir."

"Are you serious?" ledek Niko, "You don't like Ulan, do you?"

"Of course not, sir. If you can and you really want me to do that, I'm ready to do it for you."

Handoko did not wrongly trust Darius to hold his company before being transferred to Niko. Darius is a responsible and honest man. He was known to sacrifice to save the people closest to him.

Not only Handoko, Niko was sure Darius never messed with his words. That is why he chose Darius as his right hand and driver. In addition to Brian who is like retirement because he is not young anymore, Darius who is more agile and most know about the company.

"We'd better hurry, Niko," Handoko said, "the father won't linger there. So, we'd better get going now, let's get the show over with."

"Free Papa shines, later tonight there is still a reception and papa must be present there."

While standing Handoko said, "I hope something happens today. A marriage that is not approved of by God will not happen."

"You think Mr. Jefry is stupid, willing to marry his daughter to an obscure person? Better research before commenting."

Handoko, Darius, Brian and Magdalena stood with the same expression. As if attending a funeral, their faces were so sad despite Niko's wedding day today.

On the other hand Angelina was imagining. He does not even realize that the music had sounded when Ulan entered with Jefry.

The guests who were busy talking about them were immediately silent and admired Ulan's beauty.

"The matching pair. They're very compatible."

"really. If only my son could marry her ...."

Angelina. He turned his head, looking at Ulan and Jefry who were smiling at the invited guests.

'You laugh at my son's suffering, ' he said in his heart, 'I swear, God will repay you for what you have done.'

Just then Jefry managed to get close to Niko. With his face he grabbed Niko's hand and put it in Ulan's.

"From today on, I leave my beloved daughter to you, Niko. With all due respect, I ask you .. never hurt her. Lead her to be a good wife. Even if she can't be the wife you want, give her back to me. Don't hurt him. Don't hurt him."

Tears of honesty on everyone's face except Niko. Handoko and Angelina even cried to see the moment in front of them. What they cried was not Jefry's words to Niko, imagining the woman was not Wulan made them very sad.

Angelina is heartbroken to remember Ulan and Jefry's actions towards Wulan. So does Handoko, she is sad to imagine Niko willing to sacrifice her true love in order to save herself and Wulan.

After he finished giving advice to Niko, Jefry gave Ulan to him. He didn't even care if Niko took the advice or not. Nor did he care whether Ulan would be hurt or not, most importantly today Niko and her daughter officially became husband and wife.

Niko and Ulan stood in front of the altar with different expressions. Niko is flat-faced, while Ulan smiles happily because soon Niko will be her husband.

'If Sister Wulan and Viona were here, ' said Ulan inwardly, 'they would be very jealous to see me here."

The priest's voice began to sound. He ordered the two brides to make a holy promise.

"Niko Lais, are you ready to accept Ulan Tanujaya as a wife to take care of each other from now on and forever?"

Niko stared at Ulan for a long time. I don't know why the words he was about to utter suddenly couldn't be said.

"Mr Niko," said the priest slowly, "Come, say your promise now, people are waiting."

"Come, honey, you can do it" said Ulan.

Niko. With weight he began to say a sacred promise that had been taught before with a trembling body, "I take you, Ulan Tanujaya, to be___"
