Since Jefry threatened to kill him, Handoko never left the house again. The living room, room and back garden become the place to spend time. Now, in the back garden while enjoying coffee in front of Handoko's laptop looks so relaxed.

"Excuse me, sir."

The female voice surprised him. "What's up, Magdalena?"

"Someone named Rudi Hartanto is looking for you. He's still ahead with the security guard."

In order to keep her father safe, Niko has advised Brian, Magdalene and all the servants not to allow anyone to come into direct contact with Handoko if she is not around.

Handoko was snarled with a slight smile in sight. "Send him in, he's my friend."

"Good, Sir."

When Magdalene was about to pass, Handoko held her back.

"Make black coffee without sugar for him."

"Good, Sir."

After Magdalene disappeared, Handoko sat back in her chair and dissolved in thought. Rudi's presence really made him curious.

"I thought you'd never come back here again."

Rudi's voice surprised Handoko from her daydream. He smiled, stood up and hugged a man of his age.

"How are you, huh?" ask Handoko.

"My news is good."

Handoko released a hug, sitting in front of Rudi. "What brings you here, huh?"

"Aren't you going to offer me a drink?"

They laugh.

"You take it easy, I told Magdalena to make you black coffee without sugar."

"You know best what I want."

Just then Magdalene appeared with a cup of black coffee.

"This, Sir."

"Thank you, Magdalena."

"Together, sir."

As soon as the old woman left, Rudi put on a serious expression, he looked at Handoko.

"Jefry wants me to kill you."

"I guessed it," Handoko chuckled, "There's no way a Rudi Hartanto came to me for no reason."

Rudi took a sip of his coffee and asked, "What's the matter?"

Handoko told the details of the problem. He also recounts the status of Niko and Wulan and the reason Jefry wanted Niko to marry his daughter.

"I swear, I just found out that his wife is Benny's wife now. If Niko marries Wulan, it's clear that all their assets will be transferred to Niko, she will get nothing. Instead, you and him won't get anything if Wulan pulls all those assets if she knows the truth."

"I also thought so" Handoko replied, "I know that the woman my son loves is Benny's son."

"Did Niko know the truth?"

"It's, but Jefry doesn't know about this. He knows I haven't told Niko."

Handoko looked at Rudi as the man sipped his coffee. "How much does he offer?"

"When you're out of the country he pays me five billion every time he does a job. Yesterday he offered twice as much to wipe out the life of someone on the plane. I refused and recommended my subordinates. The plan worked, because when I saw the news this morning they found the body of a woman on the plane."

Handoko surprised. "He told you to eliminate Wulan?"

"Wulans? Meanin?" Rudi was surprised too.

Handoko did not answer. He grabbed a cell phone, called Niko.

Rudi curious. "What's wrong, you mean Wulan who?"

Handoko encodes a hand and greets Niko behind the phone as soon as the call is connected.

"Thank God, I thought it was Wulan. Papa thinks you should get people to take care of him once twenty-four hours, his life is threatened, Niko."

"Papa take it easy, I've been thinking about that."

"good. But you also have to take care of yourself, papa doesn't want Jefry to hurt you."

"Papa take it easy."

Seeing Handoko finished talking Rudi immediately asked a question that had made him curious since, "What's wrong? You mean Wulan's son Benny, Niko's girlfriend?"

Handoko. "Jefry conspired with his superior Wulan to mutate him to Manado. He was also the one who set the schedule and the airline of Wulan. Fortunately, his friend Wulan heard the conversation and told Niko, otherwise the body they found was Wulan."

Handoko chuckles. "The reason he told you to eliminate me, his plan to get rid of Wulan failed."

Rudi shook his head. He could not stop thinking with the attitude of Jefry who was so greedy.

"So you agree?"

Rudi chuckled to find Handoko looking at him sharply. He grabbed a coffee cup in front of him and finished it.

"The three of us have been friends for a long time, Handoko. I know who you are and who Jefry is. We're both the same, we've both done our jobs, but that doesn't mean we have to take each other down."

"Then why did you ask him five times?"

Rudi's expression changed. "You helped me at my worst time. You never asked for compensation or recompense about it. Unlike you, Jefry will help me as long as I manage to do his job. You know what, Handoko?"

Handoko looked at Rudi expectantly.

"A few months ago, I thought I was going to die. A critical illness that struck my brain left me lying weak in the hospital. I told my men to meet Jefry and deliver my message. You know what I got?"

Handoko. "Surely the reason is busy."

"No, it's because he doesn't have a job for me. He said I was making things up, so he would help me. I remember that and I will never forget it. I promised God that when Jefry wanted to give me a job, I would manipulate him. Now the prayer is answered."

Handoko finally understood the purpose of Rudi's visit. Even though the three of them were friends, getting together and talking about something worthless was not their character. They will meet each other unless there is something important to discuss.

"I'm glad he told me to deal with you. I'll manipulate him, Handoko."

Handoko smiled. "What's your plan?"

"You don't have to ask, you know what to do."

"Well, since you saved my life, I'll help you too."

Office activities are really draining Niko today. Since there was no Wulan to relieve her fatigue, she contacted the woman via video call.

The time has shown at five in the afternoon, it means that at the location Wulan has shown at six in the afternoon.

"Hello, honey," Wulan's voice sounded. Her beautiful face was clearly displayed on Niko's phone screen, "You're still in the office?"

Niko's smile was so wide. "Yes, my work has just finished. Howwasyourday?"

"I'm not fun."

"Why?" niko's expression changed.

"You're not here. So, it doesn't feel good at all."

Niko's smile returned. "I miss you so much."

"Either."

"Hurry up and finish your job and go home."

"Yes. Oh yes, today the boss wants to take us all to dinner together. I'll be with them."

"What time?"

"Hour seven."

"Byeah, just don't fuck around. Remember, don't wear sexy clothes let alone stare at another man."

Wulan chuckles. "Ready, Mr. Boss."

"Yes, get ready. I also want to go home and rest, it feels so tired today."

"Mandi, new meal break, yes."

"Yes, honey."

"When you get home, tell me."

"Yes." Yeah."

"Yes already, bye."

Niko just smiled until Wulan's face was no longer visible on the phone screen. As soon as he rushed to leave the room, Niko's phone shook again. He glanced then connected the call.

"What's wrong?"

"Are you busy? Come here, there's something you want to say."

"I'll be there soon."

After deciding on the call Niko looked at Darius who was standing by the door.

"I'm going to see Petrix, you go home and accompany Brian to look after papa. I'll drive myself."

"Good, sir."

"If papa asks, just tell him I'm with him."

"Ready, Boss."
