A Mate is Never Wrong

A Mate is Never Wrong
Accidents.

With a long-sleeved black shirt, a handsome figure of tall stature stood in front of the glass.

His brown eyes stared coldly as his large, hairy hands randomly arranged his black hair.

Long hairy legs wrapped in blue jeans are very fitting. His tan skin due to sun exposure was seen when the fingers of a man named Niko Lais was unbuttoned shirt.

Drtts... Drtts...

The mobile vibration diverts Niko. He saw the flat object vibrate and named Handoko Lais as a caller.

Without waiting Niko immediately pressed on the radial. "Hello, Pa?"

"Niko, papa's coming home next week. I hope you'll meet my dad with a good son-in-law."

Niko clucked. "I don't want to get married yet, I still want to have fun."

"Papa doesn't want to know, anyway once papa arrives you have to show your woman to papa."

Tut! Tut!

Angrily Niko looked at her phone. "Who are you, to rule me?"

Unwilling to think about it, Niko immediately turned around and walked out of the room.

"Brian!" niko shouted as she was about to get out.

The figure of the old man appeared. "Yes, Sir?"

"I want to drive myself. You're home only. If papa calls and asks me, just tell me I don't exist."

"Good, Sir."

Without lingering Niko immediately headed for the car garage. With his face always flat he blamed the car engine then left the yard.

On the way suddenly Niko's phone shook. Niko slowed down the speed of the car then turned to the direction of the indicator, where her phone was placed.

"Vienna?" Niko immediately greeted, "What's up?" ask Niko as soon as the call is connected. His face was flat and his gaze was fierce.

"Later tonight I'll watch. You wanna watch with me?"

"I have a show with friends. You just take someone else."

"You're selfish Niko, you're just more concerned with your friend than I am."

Niko grinned. "Who are you, huh?"

"Who?! I'm your boyfriend, Niko."

"Have we ever been? Did I ever express love to you?"

"We slept together, Niko."

"I'm not the only man you've ever slept with, Vienna."

The person behind the phone is silent.

"You're not my girlfriend, I'm not your boyfriend either. Understood?"

"Yes, but___"

Tut! Tut!

Niko cut the call roughly. "Basic women. He thinks I'm a stupid man to be framed, huh?!"

Brak!

Niko threw the phone to the wall of the car door. So lazy Niko threw the origin of the object to the side and fell down.

He's surprised. "Fuck, it's Vienna."

Seeing the quiet streets makes Niko reckless without slowing down the car. He held out his hand, looking down to find his phone.

The path he passed was a deserted plantation that was less bypassed by other vehicles. That caused Niko to dare to drive without looking forward.

After finding the phone, Niko returned to her position. Just about to get up, Niko was surprised to see some animals that crossed the road suddenly.

Long horns are heard.

Niko cursed the animals with the sarcastic words that he often threw.

Feeling that the road was always quiet, Niko looked back without looking ahead. He was still curious to see many apes crossing the road for the first time.

"Maybe they're hungry" Niko said then facing forward. He was surprised to see the corner that was already in front of him.

"Aaaaakhs!"

Because the car was so fast Niko immediately slammed the steering wheel and hit a tree.

Brak!

Wrapped in official clothes that he often wears every day, the figure of a gentle-faced woman driving her sedan car at low speed.

Her brown hair is neatly bunned. The beautiful curves of his body were very visible even though he was sitting. White skin is so smooth in contrast to the dark interior of the car.

Currently the woman named Wulan Tanujaya was on her way to the office. Because the path he passed was a quiet lane, Wulan drove forward while singing the song he played through bluetooth audio.

The ringing of the cell phone replaced the music he had just sung. Wulan turned her head, grabbed the phone, saw who was contacting her.

Seeing that the name of the caller was his younger brother, Wulan immediately pressed the radial and heard the voice of the younger brother through the connection of the device.

"Hello, Ka?"

"What's up, Lan?" while driving and focusing on the road Wulan greeted his sister.

"Where are you going tonight?"

"No. Why?"

"I want to take my sister to watch. If you want, I'll buy the ticket through the app soon."

"As far as you are, Lan. I'll just follow you."

"Thank you, my dear brother. I'll close first, yeah. See you later."

Smiling Wulan let her call be cut off. The music that had stopped was now back.

Wulan was about to sing, but the singing came to a halt as her eyes saw the black car whose front was smoky and smashed. Wulan immediately reduced the volume with the speed of his car.

While moving his black sedan car Wulan opened the window and looked towards the accident.

"Geez, it's still early this morning there's been an accident. Maybe the driver was drunk."

While passing through the car, Wulan's eyes saw a silhouette on the steering wheel. Curious about it, Wulan stopped her car then noticed it clearly.

"God! The driver is still inside."

Wulan panicked and wanted to ask for help, but the streets were very quiet. He wanted to get down and check the driver's condition, but fear suddenly attacked him. The smoke coming out of the front of the car scared him.

"How's this? Is the driver dead or alive, huh?"

Guilt strikes Wulan when he imagines the driver dead without his help.

Without any more fear Wulan ventured to get out of the car. He ran towards the car and checked the driver's condition.

"Yes, God."

Wulan was surprised to see the driver's face covered in blood. So surprised Wulan did not check, whether the driver was still alive or not. Spontaneously he immediately grabbed a cell phone to call the police.

"To-long, help me."

At the same time Wulan's call was immediately responded. Glad to see the driver alive, he enthusiastically informed the location of the incident to the person behind the phone.

"It's better fast, the driver's bleeding a lot."

"Okay, we'll be there soon."

After the call was interrupted, Wulan turned to the male driver.

"Police is coming soon. Hang in."

The driver's hand was raised. The big, hairy, bloodied hand was about to touch Wulan.

"Please, help me."

Wulan quickly caught that hand. "I'm here, I'll help you. I'm not leaving you. Come on, I'll help you out."

No matter the risk, Wulan helped the man out of the car. The more smoke made Wulan did not care even though his clothes were exposed to blood.

"Hold on."

Just then a police car and ambulance appeared. Wulan limp and happy.

"Thank God they came. You'll be safe."

Several police and medical personnel helped Wulan.

Wulan also resignedly handed over the task to them.

The medics put the man's body on top of the gurney.

Although she did not know him, Wulan shed tears when she saw the man's body lying stiff on top of the gurney. Sadness, pity, and compassion mix into one.

'Save him, Lord.'

"Excuse me, Miss."

The voice of the police officer shocked Wulan. While wiping away the tears he looked at them.

"Yes, Sir?"

"You must come with us to testify."

"Good, Sir. But can I go to the hospital with them?"

"You know him?"

"No. I want to see his condition?"

"All right, come on."
