Handoko only smiled as Jefry broke out. Happiness vanished in him. Handoko doesn't expect Jefry to release her. Besides not attending the wedding tomorrow, he did not want to feel indebted to Jefry.

"Why did you set me free?"

What a surprising question. "Tomorrow our son's historic day. If you were there, who would be Niko's deputy?"

Jefry longed to throw his indifference at Handoko. Had it not been for some reason, Jefry did not care if Handoko was guilty or not.

When Handoko rejects Ulan as her son-in-law and chooses Wulan, Jefry takes away the friendship between them. Since then Jefry considers Handoko a stranger who has no meaning to his life.

Not fair indeed, Jefry can be like now because of Handoko. Had Handoko failed to get rid of Irawan, Jefry's life would not have been as happy as it is now. Angelina and Irawan's treasure will never be hers. It's possible that Jefry is rotting in prison for what he did if Handoko failed to do his job.

However, Jefry considers the contribution he made to Handoko the other day equivalent to his sacrifice. Jefry had promised himself that once Niko and Ulan were legally married, he would get rid of Handoko.

After delivering Handoko to his house, Jefry returned to his residence. Angelina and Ulan happened to have just arrived and just got out of the car.

"You," Angelina was surprised, "where have you been?"

They are now entering the house together. Ulan followed behind them.

"There's a misunderstanding between Handoko and Robby Lamber's family."

Hearing the name Ulan was spontaneously shocked. Planning to go straight to the room for a break, Ulan instead joined them in the living room.

"Robby Lamber is Wulan's boss, isn't he, Pa?"

"true."

Angelina who was sitting next to Jefry was also shocked. "What's going on?"

"Handoko went to see Robby yesterday afternoon. According to them, Handoko was the only person to have visited Robby that day. Robby died last night. So, they're accusing Handoko of being the culprit."

Ulan and Angelina's mouths opened wide in shock. Robby is not as famous as Jefry and Handoko. So, no wonder if the news of his suffering is not known to the public.

"Why is he dead, Jefry?" Angelina asked in a worried tone, "His feelings don't hurt anything."

Ulan was happy to hear that. However, he had to pretend to be sad because there was Angelina in front of him.

"I was also shocked when Niko told me about it. Had there been no link with Handoko, I would not have known until now that Robby Lamber was dead."

As soon as word gets from his men Jefry immediately contacts Niko to find out the truth. Not out of disbelief, Jefry deliberately did so to keep them from suspecting.

Before Niko and Handoko ask if she knows where the news is from, Jefry pretends to ask Niko where Handoko is.

"Geez, does Wulan know?"

"Of course," replied Ulan, "Fanny must have told Brother Wulan about it."

"When's the funeral, Jefry?"

"His wife asked to be buried today. I heard Robby died of poisoning. That's why they accused Handoko of doing it."

Angelina was surprised.

Ulan was silent, but his heart laughed.

"Why didn't you tell me? I want to go to the funeral home. Although it's not close, I want to comfort his wife" Angelina lamented.

Jefry embraced Angelina then leaned onto her shoulder.

"Before handling Handoko's problem I went to the funeral home with the driver. You don't have to worry about that. I purposely didn't tell you, I didn't want to interrupt your and Ulan's fun time."

Angelina sobbing. "You should have told me. Although it's not close, at least I'm representing Wulan to attend the funeral."

"Don't worry, his family knows who I am."

Jefry rubbed Angelina's back while looking at Ulan. Unfortunately Angelina could not see the evil expression on Jefry's face as the man stared at Ulan.

Ulan shook his head slowly. 'Based on the son of a bull, ' said Ulan in his heart, 'Oh my God, hopefully after marriage later, Niko will not be infected by the evil and cunning attitude of my papa.'

Before Angelina asked any more questions, Jefry immediately switched the conversation.

"Tomorrow Ulan's historic day, will Wulan not come?"

Drtts... Drtts...

"In a moment, Wulan called me."

"You ask," said Jefry, "why didn't he come home?"

Jefry actually knows the reason Wulan didn't attend the wedding tomorrow. However, he behaved like that as if tomorrow was the same day as any other day.

Ulan wanted to comment, but Angelina responded to the call.

"Hello, Honey?"

"Ma," Wulan cried, "sir Robby, Ma."

Angelina shed tears. "Mama was also surprised to hear that, son. Mama just found out about this news from papa."

"If it were close, I would have loved to go there. Mama went to the funeral home, right?"

Angelina glanced at Jefry. "I'm sorry Mama Wulan, mama didn't have time to attend her funeral. But tonight my mom will be there."

"If Mama goes there, please find Mr. Deril, he's my boss here, and I just found out he's Robby's son."

"really? All right," Angelina glanced at the watch, "An hour you'll be there."

Jefry touched Angelina as if giving a signal, but unfortunately Angelina did not budge and immediately disconnected the call.

"Why don't you ask me the question I asked you?" ask Jefry. Express disappointed.

Angelina stands. "You should know what the reason is," without waiting for Angelina's reply leaving Jefry and Ulan.

Jefry stands. "Papa did all this for you. Don't ask too many questions, just go as you say."

"Does Papa want revenge?"

Ulan's confused. "If you really want revenge, why should you marry and accept your child? Papa's really weird."

The sound of a notification from the phone made Ulan surprised. He took it out of the bag and saw the message that had just come in.

"Basic killer! You killed my papa! You murderer! I'll pay it back, Ulan. I'm gonna kill you!"

Ulan was surprised to read the message. His face was pale and his heart was beating fast.

"Kill, who kills people? I didn't kill anyone" Ulan looked at the unknown number, "Whose number is this? Why would he send me a message like this? Her father ...."

Ulan remembered who his friend whose father had just died.

"Feelings are not. Why ...."

Dizziness thinking that, Ulan left the living room and entered the room.

Ting!

The sound of the notification again shocked Ulan as he climbed the stairs. The same message appeared on his phone screen.

Ulan's body trembled and was frightened. He called the number, but it wasn't connected.

"Who are you really?!" peeked Ulan at the phone screen, "How dare you bother me, huh?!"

Jefru. "What's wrong?"

"Someone sent me a mysterious message, Pa. He accused me of killing his father. I never killed anyone, Papa. Papa trusts me, right?"
