A Mate is Never Wrong

A Mate is Never Wrong
Meet Viona and Ulan.

"Yes, Papa. Viona agrees to tease Niko, provided she compensates him twenty billion."

Jefry doesn't really have a problem spending that much money. It's just that the plan to eliminate Wulan tonight will work, so let alone spend the money.

"That's not necessary, son. Papa's plan tonight will work. So, you don't have to bother paying people for it."

"I promised you, Papa."

"Give him the right reason."

"What is Papa's plan, if it doesn't work, how?"

Jefry clucked his tongue. "You'll know later. Now have fun, after Niko marries you you will not be this free, you must be a devout wife like your mama."

"All right, I'll talk to Viona about it. Though if Papa agrees, I would like to make Mr. Wulan hurt."

Right at that moment the waiter appeared, carrying a tray containing a cup of coffee. As his master was talking over the phone, the servant immediately put the cup on the table and left.

Jefry continued, "That's not necessary. Taking Niko away from him was already quite painful."

"alright. I'm having fun first, maybe I won't be home tonight."

"Papa never forbid you, but that doesn't mean you don't take care of yourself."

"Papa take it easy, I'll take good care of myself. I can assure you Niko won't regret marrying me."

"You are my best daughter."

After the call was cut off Jefry immediately danced the name on his phone contact. He pressed the radial, connecting the call with the head of the bank he really wanted to contact earlier.

"Good night, Jefry," said the person behind the phone.

"Night. How's our plan?"

"Sir Jefry take it easy, I've given Miss Wulan the ticket you gave. Miss Wulan doesn't mind either."

"I actually knew about it, I just wanted to make sure. I'm afraid you gave that ticket to someone else."

"That's impossible, sir. According to your orders, your plan is going smoothly."

Jeffrey smiled widely. "As promised, I'll give you a bonus. Because it's night time, tomorrow my men will meet you."

"Sir Jefry, you're very kind. Thank you very much, sir."

Jefry decided on the call and then downed the contents of the cup. With a happy heart he went into the house to rest.

"I wish I could dream good dreams tonight."

On the other side.

After making sure Wulan gets on a plane safely, Niko takes herself to a nightclub to entertain herself. He only wanted to drink one or two glasses and then go home and sleep.

"Hello, Niko. Why do you look?"

The owner of the nightclub who was Niko's best friend greeted him. The man named Petrix pulled up a chair and sat down next to Niko.

"What brings you here again, I thought you'd never come here again because you banned this place?"

Niko swallowed the contents of her glass and then looked at the man who was his age. "You're right, I promised you I wouldn't set foot in this place again. But that doesn't mean I can't enjoy one or two glasses of wine anymore, does it?"

"Well, a Niko Lais doesn't want to set foot in this place" Petrix said, "It seems like the world is about to end."

Niko smiled faintly. "I'll be married soon. I don't want to disappoint my wife."

"Married?" Petrix was surprised, "Which blind woman wants to marry a jerk like you, huh?"

Niko recounts the beginning of her meeting with Wulan until their current relationship to Petrix.

Niko and Petrix have been best friends since childhood. Petrix, who was born into a modest family, was finally able to build the biggest nightclub business in Jakarta with the help of Niko.

It's hard to feel happy together. When Niko's father leaves her, Petrix and her family are always entertaining and giving support to Niko.

And when Petrix's parents died while they were in high school, it was Handoko who took over to finance all of Petrix's needs.

"I'll introduce her to you as soon as she gets back."

Niko told the bartender to pour the drink into her glass.

"I know now the reason you're here" Petrix said, "Did he leave you?"

"He moved the task out of town. I just drove him to the airport."

Petrix stared at Niko for a long time. He looked as if he could not believe what Niko was saying.

"I can't wait to see it. What kind of woman could conquer a wild animal like this, huh?"

Niko just smiled and then downed the glass until it ran out.

"Two glasses is enough. I want to go home and sleep."

Petrix was again surprised, but did not forbid. The positive change in Niko really made her happy.

For a long time he wanted Niko to live the life she is today. However, Niko's frustration with life makes Petrix unable to do more. Advising for sure, but to ban Niko would never. Because despite being like sisters, Niko never forbade Petrix from doing this.

The principle of both of them is the same, advising may be, but forbidding do not. And that principle still applies today.

"I'm glad to see you now" said Petrix, "Your body also looks more contained. That woman must have taken good care of you."

Niko smiled fondly at Wulan's face. "He's very special to me, I love him very much, Petrix. I love her so much."

"Did papa know?"

"Papa really likes it," Niko smiled, "The story is long. Now is not the right time. If you have time, you can visit the mumpung papa still here."

Petrix already considers Handoko like her own father. He was so happy to hear the whereabouts of Handoko.

"When you came, why didn't you tell me?"

"Long squeaks. Papa will explain it to you himself. This has something to do with Wulan, so busy me and papa forget you."

"Tomorrow morning I'll be home."

Niko stand. "I go home first, if there's anything tell me."

"You too, if you need my tires don't hesitate to call me."

"That's for sure."

"Come, I'll take you forward."

As they were about to move away from the bar, Niko's eyes caught a familiar figure in the corner of the room.

"Vioi."

Niko's body came to a halt and noticed the figure beside Viona. "That's Ulan."

Petrix. "What do you see?"

"Two women in VIP seats, since when were they there?"

Niko knows Viona very well. Seeing the woman with Ulan certainly made Niko worried. Had Ulan not been Wulan's half-brother, Niko would not have cared who she was hanging out with.

"I don't know. I just showed up so I knew you were here. You know them?"

As the owner of a fancy nightclub, Petrix would not carelessly greet her customers. He will only interact with people he thinks can be trusted.

"One Viona, one Wulan. The one's a big-time entertainer, the one's my girlfriend's half-sister."

"Your girlfriend's stepbrother, is he in love with Viona?"

"I don't know yet, but I have to find out. Come on, accompany me to meet them. I don't want Ulan close to Viona."
