A Mate is Never Wrong
The Office of Jefry Tanujaya.

Angelina looked at Jefry for quite a while. He realized that what he said was quite painful for Jefry.

Making sure Wulan was gone, Jefry looked at Angelina with a seductive smile.

"Next time don't do it, honey. I let your daughter get into a relationship with Niko, not that you don't keep my feelings. My daughter, Angelina."

Those words seemed to pierce into Angelina's heart. However, he realized that his words were too late. It's only natural that Jefry would reply.

The next day Niko woke up earlier than Handoko. He always gets up early to do sports. With his body still full of sweat he approached Handoko who was reading the newspaper.

"How's Papa sleeping, soundly?"

"Papa can't sleep, papa thinks of Wulan."

As Niko's parents, Handoko's feelings since last night were not calm when Wulan delivered the news. Wulan's move out of town made her a lot of mind.

He didn't expect Jefry to do that to him. Although Jefry did not know for sure that, as the person closest to Jefry, Handoko knew what Jefry would do to the person who challenged him.

Not only Handoko, Niko also had many thoughts about moving Wulan out of town. However, he already had plans to confront Jefry.

"Do you think this is Jefry's tactic to separate you?" ask Handoko.

Back at the office yesterday Niko hasn't spoken to Handoko about her meeting with Angelina. As soon as he said he would invite Wulan to dinner, Handoko was busy preparing everything to wait for her future daughter-in-law. Nor did Niko have time to talk about it.

"Yesterday afternoon, back home from work, I met Aunt Angelina," Niko said then took a loaf of bread and smeared it with peanut butter, "I've told you the truth and Aunt Angelina doesn't mind."

Handoko was surprised, but the shock was defeated with a thought that had just appeared.

"You think that's why Jefry told the head of the bank to mutate Wulan? Is it possible because Angelina agreed to your relationship until she sent Wulan out of town?"

Niko swallowed the chew. "I don't think so, but I know the cause."

"Angelina's been honest with me, that she already knew that I was in a relationship with her daughter. Wulan had said it a long time ago, and she strongly agreed."

"really?" Handoko was happy, "Then what did she say, where did you meet, how long did you talk?"

Niko's face remained flat. Because she was still chewing, Niko kept silent.

Handoko. "What did Angelina say, Niko? You didn't tell me that papa came home to look for him? As expected, Jefry must have deliberately tricked us into not seeing Angelina. He knows what papa's brain is like. Before that happened, he had already prevented it."

Niko looked at Handoko. "Angelina's aunt isn't upset, she's even glad I have a relationship with Wulan."

Handoko smiled broadly.

"Angelina's aunt also approved of my relationship with Wulan. It's just ...."

Niko took a sip of her coffee then looked back at Handoko. "Angelina's aunt says me and Wulan can't get married."

"His ex-wife Jeffery wants Ulan to marry me. Before he died he said he ordered, that Ulan should be betrothed to me."

"That's not true!" Handoko rampages. He stood up, pacing in front of Niko, "Jefry was too late. It can't be allowed to."

Niko remained calm in her seat.

"Papa must meet him, papa must talk to him," said Handoko, "Since when his mother Ulan wanted you to get married, while during his life he never saw you."

Niko's eyebrows are wrinkled. "Is that right, Pa?"

"of course. Jefry's wife died a month after giving birth to Ulan," Handoko sat down, "After seeing him marry Angelina, papa thought that he had deliberately removed his wife in order to get close to Angelina. The proof is that she eliminated Angelina's husband and married him."

Niko thought.

"Angelina is her ex-boyfriend. Because Angelina left him and chose Benny, Jefry was angry at the time and wanted revenge. Papa thinks he's just kidding. After seeing their togetherness papa was aware, if what he said the other day became reality."

"What are you going to talk to him about?"

"I just want to say, that I won't marry Ulan no matter what."

Handoko frustrates. "Better not to, son. Jeffrey is another. You yourself know how powerful a Jefry Tanujaya is in this city. So, you better not play with fire with her."

"I'm not gonna play with fire, Pa. It is impossible for Jefry himself to reveal the secret to Wulan and her mother. As long as Wulan and I don't get married, she'll be quiet about it."

"What if he urges you to marry Ulan?"

"Papa think I want to? Will not and will never."

"So what's your plan?"

"I'll go to Jefry and tell him my purpose. Accepted or not, the important thing is that I have expressed my wish."

Handoko agrees. "And once Wulan returns, you must marry her immediately. Jefry agrees or not, you have to marry her anyway."

With a flat face Jefry was struggling in front of the laptop. A few days of avoiding the office because of reluctance to meet Handoko makes her work delayed.

After trying to keep Wulan and Niko away was successful, and convince Angelina about the match, she also confidently set foot in the building again without anxiety. He was ready to face Handoko, if the man came to sue.

However, Jefry would not give up until at any time. He will try to get Ulan closer to Niko no matter how. He must take Handoko's heart so that the man will approve of their children's relationship.

Jefry stops his activity, grabs a cell phone, then searches for Handoko's name. He had to contact the man as usual, as if nothing had happened.

Unfortunately when Jefry pressed radial to connect the call, Handoko's contact was off. He did not give up, tried again, but the answer was the same.

Jeff finally put down the phone then looked back at the laptop.

Geck! Geck!

"Lake in!" he cried without looking, "He kept staring at the latop without staring at the figure that appeared behind the door.

"Sir, there's someone outside wanting to meet you."

It was then that Jefry turned to the face of his secretary. "Who?"

"Say, Mr. Lais."

Jeffrey smiled. "Handoko Sure. Get him in."

"Good, sir."

After the secretary closed the door, Jeff looked back at the laptop and went back to work.

"I didn't even bother to call her anyway."

The sound of the door opening did not make Jefry conscious. He continued to face the laptop with a very wide smile.

"Sit down, Handoko," he said when he realized his friend had entered, "I just called you, but your contact was off."

"I'm not Handoko."

Different words and sounds surprised Jeffrey. He turned his head and looked at the figure of Niko standing with a flat expression.

"Niko. Sorry son, I thought your papa."

Niko did not answer.

"Sit, Son. Tumben you're here. There must be something important you want to talk about?"
