Viona became the mediator. "Darling, it looks like you should apologize to him."

"I'm sorry for what?" Deril stood up with a confused expression.

Niko stood up and aligned her position in front of Deril and Viona.

Viona gulped. "The person you're accusing of killing papa is Niko's father."

Deril surprised.

Not wanting to invite emotion Viona immediately added. "You remember the man who visited Papa while you were talking?"

"Yes. If it's not wrong said his mother's name is Handoko."

"Handoko is Niko's dad, honey. I know them, there's no way Handoko can do that."

Deril angry. "Why are you defending him? It was obviously the stranger who last visited papa."

"Papa died the night, honey. We still interact with papa long after Handoko's visit. I'm sure it's not Handoko who did it."

Niko. "Is there any CCTV evidence that can be used as evidence?"

"There's no CCTV in my room. All this time no stranger came to see my papa but your papa."

"Get your mouth, my friend," said Niko angrily, "You can't accuse my papa without proof."

"If not your father who else? My mother said yesterday that no one else came but your father."

Niko's emotions exploded. It was fortunate that Viona immediately held him back. So, Niko lowered her intentions and said, "I'll sue back if my papa isn't proven guilty."

Without waiting for a reply Niko left them.

Deril looked at Viona. "Why are you defending her so much?"

"I'm not defending him, I'm sure you must be wrong. I know them, they're not bad people, Deril."

Deril looked at Viona in silence. He took a breath and said, "I'm disappointed in you, at a time like this you should have defended me, not them."

After saying that Deril turned around leaving Viona alone. Losing her papa already made her dizzy, let alone thinking of others.

"Two last questions before we take a break" said the investigator, "What is your relationship with Robby Lamber?"

"I'm the best and longest customer in the company."

"Can you explain, what is your purpose of visiting the victim that day?"

Handoko felt she had to be honest. "My son-in-law's candidate is Robby's subordinate, for the money of Robby's sending my son-in-law out of town, on the grounds of the company's orders. Someone told Robby to do that. My goal was to have Robby report the man to the police."

"You said so, do you know that person?"

"of course. His name is Jefry Tanujaya."

The investigator nodded. Who does not know Jefry Tanujaya. As an officer of course they know who Jefry, the richest man and never committed a crime. Yeah, that's what Jefry is in the police's eyes.

As a responsible investigator he does not discriminate against them. Although it looks more assertive, the investigator is very careful to ask questions and is afraid to offend Handoko.

The investigator wanted to ignore Handoko's statement. However, the names involved in this Robby Lamber matter are very tempting and maybe this could be a very good field for him.

The investigator took a deep breath. While waiting for the evidence, the investigator communicates with Handoko.

The investigator wanted to continue, but the door of the room was knocked twice then a figure behind the entrance.

"What's wrong?" ask the investigator.

"You wait here" the investigator told Handoko.

Handoko sat down while thinking. He hopes the case will continue so that tomorrow he will not be present at the wedding. Niko would definitely want to attend the party without her.

"Sir Handoko," the investigator's voice surprised him, "Come, come with me."

Handoko stood up and asked, "Where are you going to take me?"

"Jefry Tanujaya is waiting for you outside."

The disparaging smile on Handoko's face stuck out. "Remember what I said earlier."

The investigator did not respond and guided Handoko. As soon as they came out, Jefry was standing with a restless body.

"What's going on?" ask Jefry pretend.

"They accused me of killing Robby Lamber."

"Why can?" Jefry seemed ignorant and wanted to find out.

"long story. You, what are you doing here?"

"liberated you. Come on, let's go home now, we have to get ready, tomorrow's our kids' wedding, Handoko."

Handoko looked at the investigator. "What did he say was right, I can go home?"

Jefry and Handoko leave the police station with nothing in the way.
