A Mate is Never Wrong
Scolded Angelina.

Wulan glanced at Fanny who was looking down. He laughed. "I'm not pregnant, Ma. Lately my appetite has been on the rise."

"Correct? Have you gone to the doctor?"

"What's the doctor for, Mama? I'm not pregnant. The new guy finished coming last month."

Fanny held back a laugh.

Handoko and Angelina looked at each other for a moment.

"Then when are you going to give us grandchildren, huh?" handoko.

"Yes," added Angelina, "Mama was alone at home. If you could give her two grandchildren, would you? One for mama, one for Papa Handoko."

They laugh.

"It's just something, though," said Wulan, "I think making grandchildren is as easy as making bread."

"It's not easy, honey. But, you and Niko should try to produce twins for us. What you know if you want twins can follow medical procedures such as insemination or in vitro fertilization. Isn't that right, Fan?"

Fanny was surprised and smiled. "Yes, Aunt. My brother also said, the symptoms of twins are usually seen from increased appetite and increased weight from the future mother."

Wulan stared in anger.

They all laughed when Viona and Deril appeared.

Wulan stood up and hugged Viona. "Congratulations, Viona. I didn't expect you to be the wife of our boss now."

Viona crying. "I'm happy, Wulan. I happy. Thank you for coming. Thank you for enlivening my wedding tonight. You are all like family to me. We're all family, right? You're all I have here, I have no one but you."

"Yes, honey," added Angelina as she rubbed her shoulders, "We're all family. You and Fanny already consider like their own children. We are family."

Everyone is moved. Angelina, Wulan and Fanny were crying. The condition of a troubled face and without a family attending her wedding, makes Viona's enthusiasm not reduced. He can get through this day with great happiness.

"There is more good news for you" said Viona.

"What's that?"

Everyone is listening.

"I'll be a mother soon. Deril is going to be a father. You, Niko, Fanny and Darius will be his uncle. Om Handoko and Aunt Angelina will be his grandparents. You guys wanna take care of my son if I'm not around?"

Everyone was shocked, including Deril.

"Nothing, what do you mean, honey?"

"Yes, what do you mean say that?" added Angelina.

Fanny and Wulan looked at him curiously.

Viona was crying again. "I'm afraid this child won't accept me as his mother. I'm afraid he hates me because my face is like this. If that is so, inevitably I have to stay away from him. I want you to look after him if he doesn't want me."

Angelina hugged him. "That's impossible, son. Don't think too far."

"True," Handoko added, "The ugliness of your face, you are still her mother, Viona. You can't talk like that."

Angelina releases a hug.

Deril. "He will accept you as I accept you. Believe me, me and our son will always love you with all their heart."

Everyone was moved except for Wulan, her thoughts were currently fixed on Niko. Is Niko going to love her like Deril's love for Viona? Niko's attitude now who often ignored him made Wulan doubtful. The proof is that the man left his wife and met another woman.

"No," Wulan said inwardly, "Whatever happens, I must maintain my household with Niko. Even if Niko ends up cheating on me with Gloriana because there is something wrong with me, I have to accept it and change it for the better. I have to make Niko happy. I have to look after Niko, so she doesn't fall into Gloriana's hands."

On the other side.

Niko was driving for almost half an hour. He deliberately linger so that Wulan believes that he met Gloriana.

Since her stomach is hungry, Niko decides to return to Viona and Deril's marriage. He only realized, since the struggle that drained energy in the bathroom he had not filled his stomach with food.

Niko finally arrives at Lamber's house. He immediately entered the house and looked for Wulan.

Wulan was still in the same position as Fanny. Since everyone had gone and was cool with the others, she and Fanny sat down sweetly and talked about her pregnancy.

"I'll put it in a box. As soon as he gives her a greeting and a gift, I'll give her the box."

Niko appeared. "What box, honey?"

Fanny and Wulan were shocked.

Niko sat next to him. "Since you said you'd give him the box. What box and to whom?"

Wulan is grateful that Niko missed the conversation about the baby. With a big smile he held Niko's cheek.

"Viona, I'll give her the gift box. Tonight's plan I'll give it to you. But, come to think of it, it might be a good idea tomorrow to give Deril the box."

"Gift box ..your feelings don't wrap presents for them, dear."

Fanny took over. "The gift is on me. I'll take him tomorrow and give him his gift at the office."

Niko doesn't care. He whined like a child on Wulan's shoulder. "I'm hungry. I want to eat, as long as you're the one who bribed me."

Seeing that it was spontaneous made Fanny hold back a laugh.

"What do you want to eat?" Wulan took the plates and spoons in front of those who were still clean.

Niko whispered, "I want to eat you."

Fanny laughs.

Wulan's face was red. She did not expect her husband would be spoiled like that in public. However, as a wife, she was happy that Niko behaved so.

Knowing her husband's favorite food was chicken, Wulan took chicken and vegetables in front of her and then fed Niko.

Handoko and Darius appear.

Spontaneous Fanny stood up and invited Handoko to sit next to Wulan. He sat in front of them and Darius sat beside him.

"Where have you been?" handoko asked, "Wulan, let her eat alone, she's not a child anymore."

Wulan smiled. "I'm happy to feed him, Papa."

Niko smiled wryly at Handoko. He was happy that Wulan defended him.

Angelina appeared. "Niko, where are you from? Why did it look?"

The shocked expression on Niko's face made Handoko, Wulan and Fanny hold back a laugh.

"I was out for a minute, Ma."

Angelina sat down next to Fanny. "Go out or see Gloriana?"

Niko looked at Wulan. "You told mama?"

Just about to answer Angelina directly cut, "What if Wulan told mama? You're afraid mama knows, huh?"

Niko gulps. "It's okay, Ma. I'm surprised that Mama knows that name."

"Next time ask your wife if you meet a client out there. Moreover, it's already night, it's very inappropriate for the husband of someone like you to meet another woman without the company of a wife."

"I'm sorry. I promise it won't happen again."

Angelina was not satisfied. "Mommy is curious, how important is that woman until you leave Wulan here alone, huh? It's different if you don't attend the wedding. Didn't you tell her you were attending Wulan's superior's wedding?"

Niko fell silent.

Wulan also just realized. If Niko had told him about their whereabouts, Gloriana might have contacted him. That means Gloriana is very important in her vanguard.

Angelina continued, "Mama is sure you didn't tell her. If so, how could she dare to interfere with your time and your wife."

Fanny and Handoko cursed Niko inwardly. They were happy that Angelina was scolding him.

Niko shy. He regretted having done that at the wrong time, should he prank Wulan after coming home from marriage. That way Angelina wouldn't scold him like this.

Wulan. "Easy, Mama. Niko's back, right? Don't make my husband's appetite less Mama."

Angelina was not satisfied. "Once again you know you left Wulan for that investor, you're gonna find that woman and crash her."

"Papa too," Handoko added, "the father will break his employment contract with her and get her out of this city."

Handoko's words made Wulan and Fanny surprised. They know who Handoko Lais is in town. Whatever the man wants will happen.

Unlike them, Niko said nothing, she knew Handoko was angry because she did not agree she invited Gloriana to prank Wulan. After all, the day after tomorrow he would admit everything in front of Wulan. So, there will be no more dramas like this in the future.
