Until When to Survive?

A few days passed, when the figure of a mother is needed for her child and husband, the expected figure was even without the slightest burden of having fun with her beloved man.

“Are you hungry? Soon my cooking will be cooked,” Evelyn said with a smile towards Leo who was standing in the kitchen doorway.

Leo walked over to Evelyn, then hugged the woman from behind. Leo leaned his head against the nape of Evelyn's neck, making Evelyn chuckle in amusement because of her potent behavior.

“If you hug me like this, I'm not sure my cooking will be finished quickly,” Evelyn scolds.

“Hm, I can make you my dinner instead,” Leo's tease while pecking Evelyn's neck.

“Leo!”

Evelyn's hand pinched Leo's waist. Leo squealed in pain then released their embrace.

“I'm just kidding, Eve,” Leo said. The man chuckled amusedly at the annoyed face of Evelyn which actually looked adorable to him.

Evelyn clasped her hands in front of her chest. He threw a sharp look at Leo. Leo understood the intent of the gaze, Evelyn wanted him to move away from the kitchen so she unceremoniously went straight for it. The man retreated, then landed his butt in the high chair located in the corner of the kitchen, looking at Evelyn from there.

Leo is happy because he is now spending more and more time with Evelyn, his idol. However, it could not be denied if there was something stuck in his heart. Especially if he remembers about the figure of Angela.

Leo quickly brushed off his mind that recalled Angela, never to have happened in his life to remember another woman when she was with Evelyn, but what happens now is precisely Angela who is always in her mind even though she enjoys being with Evelyn.

A few days had passed since the night he had spent together with Angela. However, for a second Leo could not forget what happened. It would be a lie if Leo said he didn't expect a call from Angela. However, he himself prestige if he had to call Angela first.

The cry made Leo flinch from his daydream. He gasped and turned to Evelyn.

“What's up, Eve?”

“I said earlier that dinner was ready. Didn't you hear me?”

Leo scratched his nape. “Sorry, I was thinking about an important meeting tomorrow morning,” Leo said, lying. There's no way she'd let Evelyn know she was thinking about another woman.

Meanwhile, at the same time, Angela was sitting on the edge of the bed looking at the pale face of her nephew, Alden. Alden's eyes were closed, a sign that the child was sleeping.

For the past few days, Alden has been ill. Angela and Nick are required to focus on taking care of Alden especially since Alden is being treated at home because the child does not like the hospital atmosphere.

After making sure Alden had slept well, Angela walked out of the boy's room. In the living room, he found Nick sitting staring blankly at the television screen in front of him.

Angela let out a deep breath, then walked up to Nick and sat down beside him.

“Evelyn still can not be contacted?” asked Angela to hold back her sense of regret.

Nick looked up and shook weakly. “Don't pick up the phone, just text me he didn't read. I don't know what he's doing right now with that guy,” Nick said with a wry smile.

“Tadi, before going to bed Alden told me that he was happy because you had been with him all day at home,” said Angela, trying to divert the conversation.

Nick chuckles. “Alden is indeed very spoiled if you are sick, if Evelyn was here with him she would be very happy and quickly recovered,” Nick replied.

Nick shook his head. For Nick, Alden is his new life spirit. Every time he saw Alden, he seemed to be able to forget his problem with Evelyn. Although sometimes he also felt sad because Evelyn could not give Alden the affection that the child deserved.

“He's lucky to have a father like you.”

Nick smiled wryly. “If Eve could also be a good mother to Alden, she would definitely be very happy,” she replied again.

Angela grabbed Nick's hand. “Nick, after knowing about what happened between you and Eve or about how Eve treated Alden, I wonder ..”

“Until when are you going to keep a wife like Eve? He is not worthy of you at all. How long will you survive?” angela asked with a concerned look.

Angela was silent too. She knows that Evelyn is currently with Leo. Angela was eager to continue her plan. However, for now Alden needed it more. Therefore he delayed his plan for a while.
