Eve Reunited with Leo

Although Nick still looks calm, but still in his heart felt that there was something hidden by Angela, and Nick thought to find out all that.

"Where is he going?" angela asked slowly making Nick's gaze turn to Evelyn.

“Where are you going, Eve?”

Nick's question only made Evelyn stop her steps. Evelyn. The woman now no longer wears home clothes but wears a knee-length skirt and high heels. Evelyn had even dressed up beautifully with a sling bag draped over her shoulder.

“I want to get some fresh air. A few days at home and just taking care of Alden made my head feel like it was going to break.” Evelyn rolled her eyeballs. “Are you going to forbid me from leaving again? Isn't Alden cured?” evelyn said cynically.

Nick shakes. “No. I will not ban you,” he replied with a faint smile.

"Good!" Eve breezed away.

Although honestly not willing to let Evelyn go, Nick did not forbid the woman. Alden just recovered. Nick could not imagine if just because of trivial problems and they quarreled it would interfere with Alden's health again.

While Angela can only be silent when she sees her sister allowing Evelyn to come out. Angela knows where Evelyn is going right now. She was convinced that Evelyn would go straight to Leo because she had been unable to meet for a few days.

“Nick, why did you let Eve go?” angela doesn't understand. “Do you want Eve to go see another man?”

Angela really doesn't understand Nick's way of thinking. How can Nick allow Evelyn to leave when it is clear Nick knows about Evelyn and Leo's affair. As a husband, shouldn't Nick ban Evelyn from leaving?

“Entah.” Nick breathed a tired breath. He spread his shoulders while smiling bitterly. He looked at the sister's face gently. “I just want Eve to remain a mother to Alden.”

Angela's beating. After that he again commented, “That means you're tired of how you feel, Nick.”

Nick leaned his back on the sofa. “I think I'm just tired of fighting, Angela. Alden has just recovered, I don't want him to hear us fight and think no-no then get sick again.” explained Nick.

“Nick, do you still love Eve?”

Hearing the question from Angela, Nick could only shut up. He has no definitive answer to that question. He himself was also confused whether he was struggling to maintain his marriage to Evelyn because he still loved the woman or just because of their son, Alden.

"If you don't love her anymore, then take care of all this, Nick. As your sister, I never wanted her to treat you like this" Angela said.

"You don't feel marriage yet, you don't know what it's like to be married. I also hope you don't feel what I feel, Angela. For that, do not arbitrarily choose men. You should be able to find a good man," Nick said back to make Angela speechless when Leo's shadow was present in his mind.

“Is Leo inside?” evelyn asked as soon as the door of Leo's mansion was opened by the servants.

The servants looked at each other. They didn't know what to say to Evelyn. At first they thought Leo and Evelyn had split up considering that Leo brought Angela to his house. Leo even asked them to arrange Angela's belongings in the man's room. Why did Evelyn suddenly come back?

Upset that her question was ignored, Evelyn growled in annoyance. The woman rolled her eyes and said, “Are you deaf? Move aside! I better find Leo myself.”

Evelyn encouraged the servants not to block her steps. After that, he started walking towards the stairs. Arriving at the second floor, Evelyn just went to Leo's room. But, somehow Leo's door was locked. Evelyn frowned. ‘Why did Leo lock his room door?’ ask in the heart.

On the other hand, Leo was on his way to his residence. Leo's mind is muddled because he can't find Angela's whereabouts. He was completely confused as well as worried. Now, he could only condemn his possessive attitude which had made Angela furious at him.

The car driven by Leo has now entered his home area. After parking the car in the yard, Leo came out with a lethargic face. He stepped inside the house with his mind going there and thinking about Angela.

“Leo!!”

As soon as he opened the door of the house, a loud voice that Leo was very familiar with sounded. Leo was surprised and widened his eyes when he saw Evelyn jump up from the sofa and run to him.

“Did you miss me?” evelyn asked as she spread out her hands, as if expecting a hug from Leo.

“Eve, what are you doing here?” Leo asked back. She was puzzled as to why Evelyn had suddenly come after days of disappearing.

“Of course see you. Don't you want to hug me?” ask Evelyn again.

Leo who is still trying to digest what happened is silent. Just this time Leo felt hesitant to hug Evelyn. In fact, usually he is always excited to touch the woman.

Stiffly Leo hugged Evelyn briefly and then let go.

“Why didn't you say you were coming?”

Leo's question made Evelyn frown her forehead. Leo's attitude also made Evelyn confused. What's wrong with Leo and why is he now being indifferent to Evelyn?

Evelyn fingered the chest of Leo's field. With a seductive look she said, “I miss you so much, Leo.”

“If you miss me, you must have contacted me from yesterday,” Leo replied indifferently.

“My position is difficult, Leo.” So said. But, he did not intend to tell more details because he did not want to ruin their reunion moment by telling me about Nick. “Do you not love me anymore? You also didn't try to contact me.”

Leo looked. “Of course I still love you, Eve,” he replied.

"I love you a lot too. I really miss you," Eve replies to Leo.

Leo still thinks he only loves Evelyn. And so he tried to divert his mind. However, no matter how hard he tried, he still could not get Angela out of his mind.

Meanwhile, in another place, Angela was feeling extremely agitated. Now, she's back at her apartment, different from her previous plan where she thought of spending the night at Nick's house. Inside the apartment, she kept biting the tip of her nails while thinking about Leo and Evelyn.

Yeah, correct. Angela thought about Evelyn coming back to see Leo. He even imagined what Evelyn and Leo were doing right now and it made a burning rage in the recesses of his heart.

Jealousy slowly settled in his heart. However, Angela recalled her purpose. He also convinced himself that what he felt was not jealousy, but fear. Yes, fearing that Evelyn's return to Leo's life will make her plans fail.

“I have to do something,” murmured. He snatched his phone on the nightstand, and he called Leo.
