Pregnancy Preventive Pills

Angela set her heart rate as her foot stepped into the corridor of a downtown clinic. To be honest, Angela is afraid of what her friend thinks of what she does. Angela had no other choice. He had to ask his friend for help to prevent bad things that could happen.

Fortunately when Angela arrived in front of her friend's room as a midwife, there were not many patients there so Angela did not need to wait too long.

“Angela, how are you?” ask Clarissa, Angela's friend. “Please sit.”

Angela sat in the chair opposite Clarissa. Angela still lowered her head, not knowing where she should start.

Clarissa who saw Angela's strange attitude asked, “Angela, did something happen? Why are you just looking down?” He frowned, confused by Angela's attitude.

Angela raised her head. “If I tell you everything, will you promise not to tell Nick?” her door.

“I promise. Your secret is safe with me,” replied Clarissa while nodding.

Angela took a deep breath. Before starting her story, she needed to neutralize her heartbeat. Afterwards, Angela explained what she had done.

“You know if Eve's been cheating on Nick, right?” angela asked Clarissa with a nod of her head. “I saw Nick and Alden suffer more and more because of it. So, a while ago, I decided to find out who the man who had an affair with Eve.” was

“Did you find the man?”

“Not only found, I even slept with the man,” explained Angela.

Clarissa widened her eyes hearing that. He was in great shock. Because Angela is a woman who always keeps her pride but instead she does it with a man she does not love.

“I did intend to approach the man and make him and Eve part ways. But, on the other hand I was afraid if I would get pregnant.”

Clarissa stood up, then walked over to the medicine cabinet. He took a bottle of medicine and placed it on the table. He sat down again, then handed the bottle of medicine to Angela.

“This is a pregnancy-preventing pill. You should drink it regularly as long as you are in contact with the man,” Clarissa explained. He grabbed Angela's hand, then grabbed it and said, “But, I really hope that you'll quit your plan.”

Angela shook her head. “Where can I stop if Nick and Eve's household is still a mess?”

“You can definitely.”

“I will stop .. but, after Leo and Eve split.”

“Lantas, what if you both fall in love?” ask Clarissa.

Angela pulled her hand from Clarissa's. He was silent, not knowing what to say. To be honest, he was also afraid of it. But, he had already gone so far. He can't just back off.

“Thank you for the pills. I want to go home first,” said Angela. He hurriedly stood up. “Once again I beg you, don't tell this to Nick. I don't want to make him worry.”

Clarissa nodded. “Your secret is safe with me. Take good care of yourself, Angela,” reply.

Angela also left Clarissa's room while holding a pregnancy-preventing pill given by her friend.

When he was about to put the pill in his bag, it coincided with that too his phone rang. He takes his phone and finds Nick calling again.

“Halo, Nick.”

He picked up the call as he walked out of the clinic. There's guilt every time he finds Nick's phone worrying about him. Angela is also not used to lying to Nick, but she has to do it for the good of everyone.

“Halo, Angela. Would you like to have lunch with me? There's something I want to talk about.”

Angela waves. How not? Leo will be home at lunchtime. If Angela goes to see Nick, Leo will find her.

“Agot busy, anyway. I'll have a meeting after lunch.”

“Hm, what do you want to talk about, Nick? Just talk about it now. I'm curious.”

“How are you planning ahead? A month ago you were still saying if you wanted to continue your S2 studies. But, you never talk about it again,” scolds Nick.

Angela took a long breath. He sits in the clinic park chair thinking about the answer to Nick's question. He himself feels that he still has another responsibility that he must complete before he continues to focus on his future, which is his responsibility for the happiness of Nick and Alden.

“Looks like I still want to take a vacation first and spend your money,” joked Angela.

In response to that, Nick laughed crisply. While Angela could only smile knots from her current place. Again and again he had to lie to Nick. On the one hand he felt guilty, but on the other he felt that he had to do it.

“I really hope you can succeed and make our parents proud, Angela,” Nick said gently after his laughter stopped.

One drop of Angela's tears shed that second as well. In silence she was crying. He took a deep breath, then said, “Yes, Nick. I will definitely boast of our parents.”

“Yes already, I will continue my work first. Take care of yourself, Angela.”

“You too, Nick.”

After the call ended, Angela was still sitting daydreaming while rethinking about her decision. His mind drifted there and there, wandering in uncertain delusion. About the worry that is struggling in the heart, in a future that he does not understand.

In the middle of her daydream, Angela gasped as she felt a touch on her shoulders. He turned his head and found a man who was very familiar with him standing behind him.

“You Angela, ‘kan?”

“Raymond?” reply Angela.

“Ah, jeez! You're right, Angela. I thought I saw it wrong,” said Raymond. He seemed to sigh in relief after knowing he had not mistakenly recognized people. “How are you, Angela?”

“Good. You yourself how are you?”

“I'm good too. It's been a long time since we met.”

Angela nodded in agreement.

Raymond is Angela's senior on campus. The last time they met was before Raymond worked on the script. In the past, they often met at campus organization meetings.

“What are you doing here? Who is sick?” ask Angela.

“I drove my mother to check,” Raymond replied. “If you are alone?”

“I came to see Clarissa. You remember Clarissa, ‘kan?”

“How can I forget? You two first, ‘kan, like glue and stamps,” reply while laughing crisply.

While Angela and Raymond were chatting, Leo suddenly came. The man seemed to dislike seeing Angela chatting familiarly with other men.

“Leo?” angela muttered confusedly as she saw Leo approaching her.

“Angela, let's go home,” said Leo who immediately pulled Angela's hand and took Angela away from there.
