Just Trust Me

No words could come out of Angela's mouth looking at Nick's sharp gaze at her. Never once did Nick snap at him, and today Eve's sword managed to provoke Nick's emotions.

Seeing his sister speechless afraid to look at him, Nick felt guilty. Nick approaches and hugs Angela. 

"I never want anyone to say anything bad about you, Angel. I don't want people to look down on you, I'm sorry," Nick said, rubbing Angela's head gently.

Angela who heard that could only hold back her tears, if only Nick yau what he had done, maybe Nick would be really disappointed in her.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you, I'm sorry" Nick said, letting go of his arms.

"Nick, you believe me, right?" angela looked at Nick.

"Of course I always believed in you. But–"

"Just trust me. Just as you always make sure and wish me happiness, I wish the same. So, please trust me, don't listen to what anyone says even if it's your wife" Angela said hoping Nick would trust her even more despite the big things she's doing behind Nick.

"You believe me, don't you?" asked Angela again, whom Nick responded with a nod and smiled gently rubbing Angela's head.

"Where are the nights like this?" ask Nick to switch the conversation.

"I went to see my friend" Angela replied with a sigh of relief when Nick no longer talked about it before.

"Who? Clarisa?" Only Clarisa's a friend that Nick knows, because even though Angela has many friends, but Angela is not the type who will often get together with her friends. Angela is really a home girl.

"How are you Risa? I haven't seen him in a long time" Nick said.

"He's getting pretty for sure. If only she had been my sister-in-law," Angela replied chuckling.

"Hmm. I had to go home, afraid Alden would wake up looking for me. Please take care of yourself and don't worry me, Angel."

"Come in and rest. I'm home!" Nick got in his car and drove away.

Angela was still standing in the spot staring at Nick's car that was gone, a drop of her tears came out remembering what happened to the brother she loved so much 

"I'm doing all this for you, Nick," he said.

"Damn, what's wrong with everyone?" Eve, who was in her room at Leo's residence, was very upset when Leo and Nick both ignored her.

Eve stared back at the message sent to Nick a few hours ago, the message was not responded to by Nick at all. Eve initially feels confident that Nick will be angry at Angela, but everything will not go as planned especially Leo has forbidden her to say everything to Nick.

"Don't he wonder what I mean?" annoyed.

Eve feels so furious that she wants to tell Nick that if her beloved sister has failed to seize Leo, she wants Nick to know if Nick and Angela's plans have been known.

"Did Nick really not know? Or maybe Nick didn't interfere in Angela's plans? If he really doesn't know, wouldn't it be nice if Nick knew his sister's behavior? Shit, why did Leo ban me? What reason?" Eve pulled the pillow and threw it in any direction to vent her burning sense of regret.

Still under the same roof but in a different room, Leo was still speechless. Angela's shadow still vividly remembered being in her room. Leo stared at the side of the bed that was usually occupied by Angela, Angela's belongings were also in her room.

"What should I do? I love Eve, but I don't want to part with Angela, I even miss her and wish she was here with me," said Leo slowly lying down with a slanted position staring at the side as if looking at Angela, the thing he often did in the middle of the night when Angela slept.

Still in the same position, Leo picks up his phone and opens Angela's contact. "Damn!" he cursed a moment later when he realized Angela had blocked his contact.

Leo sat back down and frantically tried to call Angela, but still Angela had blocked him and the call would not be able to connect.

"No. How dare he block me, "groaned Leo did not accept.
