Don't Fall in Love with Me

Nick kept the phone away from his ear the second the phone connection was disconnected. His eyes stared blankly at the screen of his phone which now only showed his call history with Angela.

“Actually where is Angela currently?” He mumbled slowly.

Nick is still standing in front of Angela's apartment. There was a sense of suspicion that slipped on her chest considering that if Angela did not usually leave if it was not for some important business, the rest of Angela would spend time looking after Alden. As a sister, she was worried about her sister's circumstances. But, if Nick thought about it again, his worries were unnecessary.

After work, Nick usually took the time to check on Angela. Having a separate residence makes Nick often worried about the state of his sister. Don't forget that Nick has responsibilities to his sister, the only family he has other than Alden.

Nick shook his head. He tries to think positively.

“Angela must have gone with her friends. I don't need to worry,” he said softly.

Angela is also an adult. Angela should go and have fun to enjoy her youth. Nick also believes that Angela can take care of herself.

“Better now I go home and check if Evelyn kept her promise to take care of Alden or not,” she said again before finally leaving Angela's apartment.

At the same time in a different place, Leo pulled Angela's body to attach to her.

“How did you know I was wearing your toiletries?” ask Leo.

“That's easy once.” Angela stared straight at Leo's bead. His lips lifted up forming a smile. “All my toiletries have the same fragrance as my perfume,” she explained smiling cynically.

Leo laughed crisply. “You're right,” reply. In his heart he said if Angela's scent makes him opium, as if Leo wanted the scent to also stick to his body until he decided to wear Angela's toiletries.

"Leo, don't you feel ashamed using my toiletries?" ask Angela.

"Why should I be ashamed, I use kekas– toiletries" Leo did not continue his remarks that almost called Angela his lover.

The atmosphere suddenly became awkward as Angela also clearly understood what Leo was going to say earlier. Angela's heart skipped a beat, as did Leo.

"Rechelle."

"Lo."

The two spoke simultaneously making the two also finally smile back.

"What's wrong?" angela asked back to be relaxed.

"Don't fall in love with me!" leo made Angela laugh.

"I'm not a woman who will fall in love easily, Leo," Angela said.

Leo and Angela looked at each other. Their gazes locked in tandem with Leo slowly eroding the distance between them. However, when Leo's lips almost touched Angela's lips, suddenly the woman turned her head to make Leo kiss just landed on her cheek.

“Leo, I'm so hungry. Can we have dinner now?” angela said without looking at Leo.

Angela deliberately dodges when Leo intends to touch her . He recalled Nick's message when talking to him on the phone earlier Nick advised that Angela would not easily melt into men and destroy her life. Angela was afraid that she would regret what happened when she thought that her plan was almost successful.

“You hungry?”

Angela nodded, still with a downcast face.

Leo laughs. “No need to hesitate. You can do as you please in this house,” reply Leo.

"Certainly that?"

Leo nodded, then took Angela to the dining room. There, the waiters were arranging food at the dinner table.

“Will any guests come? Why so many foods?”

Leo put his shoulder out. “The waiters are used to prepare various menus for dinner,” reply relaxed.

The man pulled the bench, allowed Angela to sit down, then took her place next to Angela.

The two of them enjoyed dinner while having a light chat. Angela can breathe a sigh of relief because it seems Leo is not suspicious if she deliberately avoids the man's touch. On the contrary, Leo even seemed to enjoy their dinner time as he got to know Angela more and more.

After dinner, they went back to their room.

Again and again Leo tries to touch Angela but Angela gently brushes off Leo's touch.

“Leo, sorry it looks like we can't do it tonight. I'm so tired and sleepy,” said Angela, hoping Leo would believe it.

Leo nodded. “No problem. In that case, let's go to sleep,” reply.

Leo lay on the right side of the bed while Angela on the left side. Seeing Angela lying too far away from him, Leo pulled Angela's body closer until Angela was trapped in his arms.

“Leo, what are you doing?!” peekik Angela shocked.

“I just want to sleep while hugging you,” replied Leo.

Soon enough, a smooth snoring sounding earthy. Angela and Leo fell asleep hugging each other, as if only in that way could they find lasting comfort.
