“Leo?” Angela widens her eyes. He was so surprised when he saw Leo suddenly approaching him and Sarah in the restaurant. “How did you know I was here?”

“Someone told me she was with you,” Leo replied. He looked at his mother, then blinked one eye.

Angela was shocked when she heard this. She didn't think Sarah would tell Leo they were together.

Leo was no less surprised. Once he received a message from his mother with a video of Angela ordering food, Leo left all his work and rushed to the restaurant called by his mother. He forgot not to return his mother's short message. Because that was in his mind only one, which is to immediately meet Angela and Sarah.

Leo sat down next to Angela. She looked at Sarah and Angela in turn. There was one question that did not stop ringing in his mind.

“I didn't know that Mama and Angela knew each other,” Leo said. She was so shocked to find out her mother knew Angela. Moreover, from the outside he could see that Angela and Sarah looked so familiar.

“We accidentally met when me and your papa came to your house a few days ago,” replied Sarah, explaining about how her first encounter with Angela happened. “It is our intention to meet you, but, instead, we met Angela.”

“When is it?” Leo wondered. He squinted, trying to remember the last time his parents came to his house because the waiter said nothing to him.

“When I stay at your house. Aunt Sarah and Om Wira came after you went to the office,” Angela said.

Leo nodded his head. Her lips form the letter ‘O’. He remembers now. That day, he had a fight with Angela. Then, that night Evelyn came to her house. It is fitting that the servants did not have time to say about the arrival of their parents, they certainly did not have time. So, on the same day Angela had time to meet her parents?

“Mama and Papa still do not think that you do not intend to introduce Angela to us,” Sarah said.

Leo chuckles. The mother's statement really tickled her heart. Leo still remembers how his parents responded the last time he introduced a woman to them. And now, they expect Leo to introduce Angela to them?

Upset because the son laughed, Sarah also pinched Leo's stomach slowly. “Basic is not polite! Instead of answering instead of laughing at parents!” grouchy Sarah.

Leo stopped his laughter. “Indeed if I introduce Angela to Mama and Papa, you will accept our relationship?” ask Leo curiously. “Just used to—”

Sarah stared intently at Leo, making the man stop his sentence. She doesn't want Angela to think she's a bad candidate-in-law.

Leo's lips are clenched. She did not expect that her mother would easily accept Angela's presence.

A smile on Leo's lips. The man felt so happy that this was the first time his parents had given their blessing to his relationship with a woman. In the past, even when Evelyn was not married, her parents immediately rejected their relationship. Especially now that Evelyn is married. They certainly increasingly forbid Leo to connect with Evelyn so that Leo must undergo a secret relationship with Evelyn.

Leo turned to Angela who seemed to be smiling shyly. There was a warm feeling that slowly crept into the recesses of his heart. Yet, over and over again, Leo tried to shake off that feeling because he thought, only Evelyn is the woman he loves in this world.

“Do not approach Eve again. Me and your papa much prefer Angela,” threatened Sarah.

Leo casually embraced Angela's shoulders. Then he said, “Mama take it easy. I'm only close to Angela, kok.”

Inwardly, Leo thought that his closeness with Angela was quite favorable. Now, she can form a clandestine relationship with Evelyn without fearing her parents will be suspicious. Yes, Leo will make Angela a shield for her relationship with Evelyn.

Angela smiled broadly. He thought his plan was getting smoother.

An hour passed. Just as the three of them were about to go home, Angela decided to go to the toilet for a while when she accidentally saw Nick and Alden at the same restaurant as her. Angela was surprised not to play when she saw them. He didn't expect Nick and Alden to come to the restaurant considering Nick said he would take Alden for a walk.

Panicking, Angela ran into one of the toilet cubicles while trying to regulate her heartbeat.

“Did Nick see me?” muttered. “No, no! Nick can't see me with Leo. Could my plan fail.”

Angela was so scared that she would get caught. He didn't want Nick to catch him being with Leo because it was a disaster for him. He must finish his plan before Nick realizes what he's doing.

A few minutes of silence in the toilet, Angela then peeked out from the door. After confirming that Nick and Alden have left the restaurant, Angela goes out and approaches Leo and Sarah again.

Unbeknownst to Angela, Nick actually saw it too. However, the man could not see Leo's face from his sitting position.

Nick smiles, realizing that his sister may be ashamed of being caught out with her lover and future father-in-law.
