Just as Angela was about to open the main door of Leo's luxurious residence, it had already opened. Behind it, appears a middle-aged pair that Angela assumes are Leo's parents. Angela took a few steps back so as not to block the steps of Leo's parents into the house. Nervousness of course enveloped Angela, but Angela could always control herself.
“Good morning, Om, Aunt,” greet Angela politely. The woman smiled at Sarah and the hero. Panic struck his heart. He was confused as to what to behave like in front of Leo's parents. Will they accept his presence? Or will they think that she is the woman who sleeps at their son's house?
“Good morning. I'm Sarah and this is my husband, Wira. We are so looking forward to meeting you and how lucky we are right now!” sarah said with sparkling eyes. A wide smile was imprinted on the beautiful face of the middle-aged woman who had clearly seen Angela before in the parlour.
Angela frowned not understanding. “I Angela. Sorry, Auntie. I don't understand,” Angela replied honestly. Angela was quite relieved by the good response of both Leo's parents, but also confused why they with mudan look familiar to her.
"Angela, a beautiful name like her," praised Sadah increasingly makes Angela confused to respond.
“I mean my wife is we have long been waiting for a new woman to be present in Leo's life,” explained Wira, correcting the sentence of the wife who seemed ambiguous.
Angela could only smile and nod in response. Awkwardness is a sentence that is suitable to explain how Angela feels at this time. If only there were a Leo now, maybe Angela would feel better. Unfortunately, Leo is away at work.
The hero checked Angela's appearance from head to toe. Finding Angela carrying a sling bag, she asked, “Angela, where do you want to go?”
“I ...” Angela stopped her sentence. There's no way he said he was going to the midwife, ‘ right?
“Come, let's sit down and chat first. Don't rush home. ‘And we just met you,” said Sarah. The woman grabs Angela's hand, then takes Angela to sit with her on the living room couch. Sarah's attitude was really so friendly and it made Angela start to feel comfortable.
The waiter who knew the presence of Leo's parents immediately served a drink. After the waiter leaves, Sarah and Wira return to invite Angela to talk.
“How long have you and Leo known each other, baby?” asked Sarah who seemed so excited to get to know the woman sitting next to her.
“Not too long, Aunt. Me and Leo met at the new year party,” replied Angela honestly.
“You know, Angela. Actually I saw you and Leo at the parlor. But, back then I wasn't sure if it was really Leo because he never attended social events.” Sarah finally confessed, making Angela even more clumsy because of it. Angela did not expect that Leo's parents already knew about his closeness to Leo.
“So, Auntie also went to the parlor yesterday?”
Sarah nodded. “Yes. I go there often.”
"But Leo–"
"Well, like I said, Leo has never been to a show like that, he just knows work and fun."
Angela smiled faintly hearing that.
“My parents are long gone, Om, Aunt.”
“Oh, sorry, I don't know,” reply Wira, feel guilty.
“It's okay.” Angela smile.
“Then, with whom have you stayed all this time?”
“I have an older brother who works as a manager of a company. Before my sister got married, we stayed together,” explained Angela honestly. Despite her nervousness, Angela seemed so calm to answer questions from Leo's parents.
“Living alone must have been very quiet. If you need a friend to tell me, you can call me and we will go for a walk together,” explained Sarah excitedly.
"Thank you very much, Auntie," said Angela sincerely and haru with Sarah's attitude to her.
"Don't thank me, baby. Aunty was just happy to be more familiar with the future daughter-in-law."
"Tante, it's not like that. Aunty misunderstood," said Angela again nervous when both parents Leo without hesitation accept the presence of Angela. They feel that Angela is their only hope so that Leo can forget Evelyn. Because they know for a long time that nothing can separate Leo and Evelyn, including them.
“Angela, we will be very supportive of your relationship with Leo,” Wira said firmly.
“T-but, Om. Me and Leo are just friends,” Angela replied, stuttering.
However, Angela explains that if she and Leo do not have a special relationship, Leo's parents believe in their own beliefs.
“Angela, Leo has never invited a woman into this house other than his ex-lover. We also hope you can help to keep Leo's ex-lover away from Leo,” pinta Sarah makes Angela speechless.
"Yes. All true. Leo never publicized his relationship with any woman other than Evelyn. Now that Leo brought you into this house, it was a bawdy start according to Auntie. Aunty is happy if in the end Leo steps away from the woman. That woman doesn't deserve to be with Leo!" sarah was more assertive.
"Tante, i–"
"We support you" said Sarah again cutting the sentence Angela would say.
