Angela was thinking what she was going to say to Nick when Nick came to pick Alden up. The hour hand was six o'clock in the afternoon and Nick should have come to pick up Alden, but Nick hasn't been seen yet.

"Riss, I have to go to Leo's parents' house." Angela told Clarissa.

"Go, I'll take care of Alden" replied Rissa.

"What should I tell Nick? I'm sure Leo's family will keep me from spending the night there" Angela said.

"Go, I'm sure Nick won't be here long, I'll say you go see your friend sick."

"Riss, Nick knows I'm just going with you, he knows my friend must be your friend, too." Angela is still confused as to what to reason with Nick.

"Look down, he won't ask me much, after all he will also go straight home," said Rissa smiling wryly like a woman who was broken in heart.

"Riss, are you still?"

"Still what?" rissa asked wrongly.

"You still like Nick?" angela's question made Rissa go silent.

"Angel, I don't want to talk about that" Rissa said.

"You go, I promise Nick won't suspect you."

Angela looked at Rissa. When Rissa's age friends were married and even had children, Rissa never even had a relationship with anyone. Although Angela and Rissa have rarely met especially after Rissa has worked in the maternity clinic as a midwife, but Angela and Rissa still often communicate and their relationship is well established.

Rissa is four years older than Angela, the two accidentally met and became good friends until now. From the beginning Angela brought Rissa to her house Angela had realized that Rissa liked Nick but never told Angela once.

"I've always supported you. I've always said that I agree and would be very happy if you and Nick were together, but you've never been honest with how you feel. Why don't you want to be frank with me, Ris?" asked Angela who was reluctant to shift her conversation, Angela was very curious about Rissa's true reason.

"I'll answer, but after that don't ask anything else," said Rissa paused for a moment before giving an answer long awaited by Angela.

"Clarissa, what is it?" angela looked at the paper bag that Rissa had brought but not for her.

With a shy blush face Rissa replied. "That's for Nick, the late birthday present I gave."

"really? What'sthat?" angela asked increasingly.

"Secret," answered Rissa.

Rissa who heard that Nick had come home was made nervous, Rissa became misbehaved and it made Angela smile.

"Let him take a shower first, Nick will take a shower immediately after that will definitely make coffee," said Angela, who is signed by Rissa.

Twenty minutes later, as Angela says is true. Rissa came out of the room Angela had seen Nick sitting in the living room watching tv accompanied by a cup of coffee.

"Rissa, are you here? Didn't Angela say you were out of town." Nick smiled briefly at Rissa who was closing in on him.

"Yes, I came back yesterday." Rissa sat on the other couch not far from Nick.

"Oh ha, this is for you. Sorry I was late to say happy birthday to you," said Rissa gave a small paper bag that she had brought.

Nick smiled accepting Rissa's gift. "Can I open it?" he said that was taken by Risa.

The smile that had just risen on Nick's face instantly disappeared when Nick saw the gift given by Rissa. Watches with a price that is quite expensive become a gift for him. Nick knows very well if the gift given by Rissa is a couple watch and it is increasingly proven when Nick saw the pair of watches that are being used by Rissa.

"Thank you for this, I accept it. But there's something I need to tell you, Ris. I don't want you to misunderstand me. I'm kind to you because I assume you're like my own sister. So, please don't ever wish more on me because I'll never be able to reciprocate your feelings and I can't be in a relationship with my sister's friend," nick said very firmly to Rissa who was frozen to hear it.

"I don't want to ruin the good relationship between us, I hope you understand" Nick said.

Although surprised and disappointed by what he heard, but Clarisa tried to overcome it.

"Just calm down, Nick. I also consider you like my own sister. I can't possibly like you because there's been a guy I've liked since the beginning I saw him" Clarissa replied giving her best smile.

"That's great. Where's angela?" Nick looked at his sister's room.

"He's in the bathroom" Clarissa replied smiling. "I'm back in the room, yeah!" Angela gets up from her seat and leaves Nick with her raging feelings.

Angela was surprised to hear the story of Rissa, Angela did not expect if since the beginning it turns out Rissa has been subtly rejected by Nick. Angela was silent confused, both Rissa and Nick never discussed it, their relationship was really well established and Angela even had time to think if Nick also liked Rissa but covered it up.

"So please don't ever talk about my feelings again, Angela," Rissa said.

"Sorry, Riss–"

"Stop discussing it. Well, that's Nick. You can leave quietly after Nick has taken Alden" Rissa said as she heard Alden's voice calling out to Nick.
