"Leo, what are you thinking?"

The dreamy Leo gasped as Evelyn touched her hand.

Leo quickly looked at Evelyn.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” ask Evelyn blushing.

Leo shook his head.

“I feel happy because finally we often spend time together. I have been waiting for a moment like this for so long,” Leo replied while sharing a sweet smile, covering up the real situation where he was thinking about Angela before.

“I promise we will always have moments like this.” Evelyn drew closer to Leo, then felt the chest of Leo's field covered by the shirt she wore.

Leo held Evelyn's hand, stopping the palpation that the woman was doing. “Don't tease me, it's late at night,” scolded.

“What if it's late at night? Are you still a kid who has a curfew?”

“Not me, but you, Eve. Did your son never look for you because you always come home late at night? There's no way he's not looking for you. You don't want to go home early? I won't force you to stay if it's for your son's sake.”

Evelyn rolled her eyeballs, then forced her hand out of Leo's grasp. There's one thing Evelyn doesn't like the most, which is talking about Alden and Nick. For Evelyn, they were a hindrance to her happiness.

“Oh, come! Should we talk about Alden?” evelyn asked annoyedly. He took a rough breath and walked away from Leo and landed his ass on the couch.

“He's your son, he might be looking for you right now. I might hate Nick, but Alden is your son. You should think about it too.”

“She must have slept.” Evelyn squinted her eyes, then said, “Do you intend to expel me?”

“What? Of course not! I just thought if—”

“Already, don't need many reasons.” Evelyn stood up and grabbed her pouch. “If you really intend to expel me, just say so. No need to bring my son.”

“Eve, I can't possibly kick you out. I'm glad you're here. If you want, you can spend the night here tonight.”

Evelyn smiled faintly. “Sorry, but it looks like my son is looking for me tonight,” Evelyn said sarcastically, insinuating Leo scathingly.

"Eve, I didn't mean it that way." Leo tried to grab Evelyn's hand, but Evelyn brushed it off.

With a feeling of resentment filling her heart, Evelyn left the Leo residence without looking back in the slightest.

Leo was eager to catch up with Evelyn and seduce the woman like what she usually did whenever they fought. But, somehow his instincts just say another. The man was now silent as he looked at Evelyn's missing back behind the door.

Leo threw his body on the sofa, then took his cell phone. If you think Leo intends to contact Evelyn, you're wrong. Because in fact, Leo is currently opening Angela's contact. He kept staring at her phone, hoping that Angela would contact him. But unfortunately, the hope did not happen because Angela did not contact him even though Angela seemed to be online a few minutes ago.

“Ck, why didn't he call me? Has he forgotten me? Where's she? What the hell is he doing?" leo wondered.

“Eve, you're finally home! Where have you been?” reprimand Nick as Evelyn arrives at his residence.

“Can I answer that question tomorrow? I'm really tired,” Evelyn said. He intends to climb the stairs when Nick's question steals his attention.

“Have you been with that guy all night?”

Evelyn. “If yes, is it wrong?”

“Jeez, Eve. Alden was sick and he asked where you were all day. But, you're busy with your dark lover. You're really outrageous!” nagel Nick.

Evelyn snorted loudly. “Nick, you know, ‘kan, if I ...” Evelyn hung up her sentence just as her eyes caught the figure of Angela sitting on the sofa while looking at herself and Nick who were fighting. Eve can see clearly if Angela's gaze on her is no longer as warm as it used to be.

"Why do you see me like that?" he nodded at Angela.

Nick who understood Evelyn's gaze also looked at his sister. With a faint smile he said, “Angela, you better go home. There's something I need to talk to Eve.” about

Angela was just about to avenge Eve, the girl was eager to squeeze her brother-in-law's face if Nick wasn't around.

"Nick–"

"Go home! Let Eve do her job of keeping Alden. You must also be tired some days always accompany Alden," he said again to Angela who finally nodded and say goodbye home.

Thirty minutes later, Angela arrived at the apartment building she was in. With Angela's weak steps into the elevator, but just as the elevator door was about to close, someone ran in and hugged her.

Angela widened her eyes, shocked by what was happening at this moment. But he tried to stay calm.

‘Why can Leo be here?!’ angela shouted in her heart.

Angela's annoyance intensifies when she smells Eve's perfume clinging to Leo's body. He breaks free from Leo's arms and pushes Leo's body away from him. To coincide with that, the elevator door opened. Angela rushes out of the elevator while Leo walks by.

‘Why is Angela so being cold to me?’ ask Leo in your heart.

“Angela, wait for me!” leo exclaimed as he followed Angela into his apartment.
