Nick's threat

At the same place, a middle-aged woman from a distance was seen smilingly staring towards Leo. The woman was Sarah, the mother of Leo. He had just made a donation at the orphanage where Leo and Angela were currently. How surprised he was to see the son also being there with a woman.

“Who is with Leo? Is she Leo's new lover?” lirih Sarah pursed her forehead.

“Bu, are we going home now?” ask driver Sarah.

Sarah looked ahead. “Yes, we go home now,” he replied without hesitation. Sarah can't wait to tell me what she just saw at the orphanage.

When she got home, Sarah walked in. In the living room, he saw that all of his members were gathering. Hurriedly Sarah took a seat next to her husband and prepared to tell him about Leo.

“You will not believe what I saw,” Sarah said with a big smile. He looked around, apparently his words managed to grab the attention of all his family members.

“What do you see, Ma?” ask the woman, the husband.

“I saw Leo at the orphanage with a beautiful woman,” Sarah explained.

Everyone gasp. They are shocked to hear the story because they all know that Leo is secretly in touch with Evelyn.

“Didn't you see wrong, Ma? Leo at the orphanage? Since when does the child want to attend social events? Every time we invite him to a charity event he always refuses,” Wira said while shaking his head, still not believing the words of the wife.

“I'm just as surprised as you are, Pa. Leo was even playing with the orphanage children. Looks like that woman made Leo change his mind, Pa,” Sarah said, guessing what happened.

“Do you recognize that woman, Ma?”

Sarah shook. “No. But, I'm sure she's much better than Evelyn,” Sarah replied steadily.

Just waking up, Evelyn was already irritated. The woman was confused looking for her phone. She remembers once that last night she put her phone on the nightstand. But why wasn't his phone there this morning?

“Where is my phone?” grumbled Sarah while looking for her cell phone in all corners of her bedroom.

He had searched the phone in the drawer and even under the bed, but still he did not find his phone. Upset at not finding his phone in the room, he exited the room with a jerking step.

“Is it possible Nick took my phone?” ask him to yourself.

“Nick!” Evelyn yells at Nick's name as she circles the house in search of Nick.

Unable to find Nick in the house, Evelyn heads to the back garden. Sure enough, apparently Nick was with Alden and nurse Alden in the back garden of the house. Nick didn't hear his call.

“Nick, have you seen my phone?” ask Evelyn without further ado.

Hearing that, Nick turned around. “Follow me,” Nick told Evelyn.

Evelyn follows Nick back inside the house, leaving Alden with the child's nurse in the park. Inside the house, Nick says something that surprises Evelyn.

“Your phone I confiscated temporarily.”

“What?!” cry Evelyn. “What do you mean?”

“Is it still unclear?”

“You can't do this to me, Nick. You have no right to confiscate my phone!”

“Oh, I certainly have rights because I am your husband!”

The commotion happened again. Nick and Evelyn are fighting again. Exasperated that Nick did not want to return his phone, Evelyn finally said a sentence that succeeded in stabbing Nick in the chest.

“Please divorce me, Nick. I'm sick of our relationship.”

“It's not that easy, Eve. I don't want to,” Nick replied stubbornly. “If you ask for separation, I will virtualize your relationship with Leo.”

Hearing Nick's threat, Evelyn was terrified. His relationship with Leo alone is unknown to Leo's parents. If Nick makes a threat, Leo will be very angry with him.

Evelyn was angry. “What do you want?”

“Do not ignore Alden. After he recovers, I will return your phone.”
