The Hunter System
Chapter 220 - The First Quest

Alvin and Mina stopped for an examination as they arrived at the village gate.

In Alvin's eyes, it seemed very clear that all the officers were looking at Mina with admiration, also being respectful towards her.

'Well, they must have behaved so after seeing the pile of ration boxes in front of his house.'

After the guards chatted respectfully for a while, Mina finally took out the quest plate from inside her leather bag.

The officers were shocked to see the 6 quest plates Mina gave them.

The officers wondered with worried expressions. It seemed like the quest that Mina took was too heavy in their calculations.

There was a small debate between Mina and the officers, a debate that was apparent because they were worried about Mina.

Seemingly giving up on their debate, the officers then looked at Alvin and asked him in a language that Alvin did not understand, but Mina quickly answered those questions.

Afterwards, all the officers looked and were respectful towards Alvin.

'What did he say to them?'

.........

The officers finally allow Alvin and Mina to leave the village to undergo the quest that Mina took.

"You also told them I was your brother? They're being so nice after you answer their questions."

"No. I said you were my husband."

"What?! You're f**k!"

Mina laughs.

"What if they suspect us?"

"Hnnn?"

"I mean... You got it, right?"

"I was just kidding. I told them you were mute."

"..."

......................

There are no riding animals such as horses, donkeys or camels on the exiled planet of the creatures who have died in their home world. Especially modern vehicles. So, Alvin and Mina had to run to go to the quest area to be in.

On the way, many things Mina told Alvin, especially regarding the rules they had to follow during their stay on the exiled planet.

Alvin also just found out if all the villages and cities on the planet had names. Same with the castles on a mountain.

"So the name of the village where we live, Korda?"

Mina nodded, "Our goal is named the village of Gernalda."

Alvin and Mina went to the village of Gernalda unhurriedly, so they arrived there at night after both ran at just 200 km/h.

.........

Upon arriving at the destination village, Alvin and Mina search for a tall tree, climb it and monitor the state of the village from there.

"What quest do you have to do in this village?"

Mina smiled faintly before answering Alvin's question, "Destroy the entire village."

Alvin gulped, then saw the reddish-colored Moon.

"Not to think too much. Like I said, this village is a den of thieves. Those who live here used to be criminals."

"I know that. Just..., what you're doing is a little different from taking out an entire opponent in a battle."

"It's much better to slaughter them while they're sleeping, right? They won't realize if they die."

After saying that sentence, Mina directed both of her palms towards the village.

"The Rain of Death Blades."

.........

A shower of magic spikes emerged from the night sky, hurtling extremely hard to destroy the village.

Let alone the village buildings, the very sturdy village tower just crumbled and collapsed as magic nails rained down on it.

The magic rain took place for almost 2 minutes and during that period of time, none of the living beings escaped destruction.

The buildings were also destroyed and almost flattened to the ground, except for a simple house that Mina let escape her attack until the house was still standing firmly without any damage at all.

Mina took the quest plate from inside her bag and Alvin saw that the originally black slab had now turned into silver.

"Come there," asked Mina.

With a single footstroke, the two jumped straight towards the nearby collapsed tower in the center of the village.

Mina dismantled the tower with a return gate skill, making it easier to remove the debris from the ruins of the tower to find a book listing the names of the villagers.

"Nothing."

"You looking for Uncle Chris?"

"Yes. But, there's an Earth creature named Lawrence here."

"Lawrence's? He could be from another country, right?"

"No. He's the one who's making trouble with you. I can see someone's face appear on top of this book every time I read his name."

"So he's worse than Shiva and the Lewis family? This village is for more evil creatures, right?"

Mina was silent for a while, seemingly reading something that Alvin could not see, in front of her. Shortly afterwards the cute girl nodded.

"He also had a job as a female kidnapper and a child to trade."

"just fine... Wait..., if you can do this, then the villagers of Korda can also look for my information, right?"

"Don't worry, they won't remember you, except the humans from C City."

"...Did you do something to the elves in the tower?"

Mina laughs.

"No. You may have returned to Earth before all the quests were completed.

"Huh? Y-you found a way?"

"To be precise, I have a plan. The way I don't know yet."

"so... But..., we're gonna get back together, right?"

"Let's get out of the way."

"Don't switch the conversation again."

"No. Get out of the way."

Shortly after, right where Alvin and Mina were standing, piles of ration boxes began to appear.

Looking at that pile of boxes, Alvin felt that they would be bothered if they had to take him.

"...Why don't they just send him home?"

"Because of this quest, then the reward will be sent to the quest place. We need food, too, right?"

"Yes. But..., how do we carry this? Too bad Rimi's inventory isn't active."

Mina took 4 boxes from a pile of cribs that were almost as tall as the two-story building.

He handed over 3 boxes to Alvin while he himself opened one of the boxes and took out one of the clothes stels from it.

"There's clothes too?"

"Land, food and board. All the gifts will lead there because that's exactly what most sentient beings need, right?"

"That's it..."

"Are you there to take the quest with the building materials prize?"

"From completing this quest, my house in the village will automatically be renovated."

"Yes?"

"Sweet you probably won't see it."

"What do you mean?"

"It's okay."

Mina lifted up the quest plate which then emitted a silvery light. Soon, the quest plate absorbed all the rewards before him.

"A kind of magic inventory?"

"You're right. The inventory will be active to save the reward when the quest is complete."

"so... It's worth it you don't look worried about the gifts. I thought you'd leave all those gifts here."

"I can't leave him. I only want to work 1 time a year. I'll stockpile food."

"...Oi... Remember, we'll be back together."

"We're going to sleep here tonight" Mina said.

He turned and went to the only house he had not destroyed.

Alvin let out a long sigh while looking at the back of Mina who always ignored his words as she discussed about returning to Earth together.
