Chapter 116 - Monster Magma
Alvin tried to reach for anything with both hands to stop the pull from below that kept trying to sink his body further into the ground, but the effort was in vain.
The sand around him turned so soft that he got nothing to hold back his constantly mired body.
He continued to fall into the ground until he finally fell into the cave.

“Ughhhh...!”
Alvin immediately bounced again to hit the cave wall as soon as he fell into the cave. He had not even been able to plant both of his feet on the cave floor when the attack came.
He also had not fallen to the cave floor, after he hit the wall, when an invisible force made his body float before he slammed again into the ceiling of the cave.

The cave seemed to shake violently when Alvin's body hit it.
He was slammed back into the cave walls many times before finally being thrown very hard on the floor of a very hard cave.
Alvin was still not moving. There was no sound of a pulse being heard from his body in that extremely silent place.

Seeing that the opponent looked dead, the jet-black monster that had been hiding in the darkness finally came out of hiding.
He stared at the creature lying dead on the cave floor with a wide grin.
He then crouched down and pressed down on Alvin's rock-hard body while muttering with a strange language.
After watching the opponent's body not breathing, he grabbed one of Alvin's iron legs and dragged him into the darkness of the cave passage.
But, while still halfway through, the jet-black monster felt its neck suddenly suffocate.
“So you're underground, huh?!”
Alvin continued to grip the creature's neck with the airbender using his left hand, while he started shooting the flame with his right hand.
On Mina's orders, Rimi had held back Alvin's heart rate until he looked dead, so that the opponent stopped the attack and Alvin just attacked back when there was a chance.

The flames that instantly lit up with such a huge amount of it began to burn the entire body of the jet-black creature.
However, just as the flames had started to devour the monster's body, the cave they were in suddenly collapsed.
The walls of the cave softened, turned into sand and drowned Alvin, as well as the monster inside.
"Again?!"
Alvin could not avoid the sky of the cave passage that collapsed on him, until the sand again buried his body and he could not move his body at all.

As he landed on the artificial ice, Alvin quickly stared around him to look for cave walls, corals, or any hard objects so that he did not sink into the magma river, but he found no walls or coral there.
There was only an endless sea of magma in that place.
As the ice melted further, he used the airbender from both feet to be able to float above the magma sea.
"Damn it, that monster is really playing me!"
Alvin immediately shifted as he sensed the attack coming from behind and saw a gigantic flaming fire hand pass beside his body.
He then turned around and saw a gigantic magma monster standing on top of the magma sea.
The monster moves another hand to grab Alvin's body, but Alvin immediately throws the giant hand with an airbender.
"Thunderbolt!"
Zlarr... Zlarrr... Alarrr!!!
A huge lightning bolt snatched the magma monster's head dozens of times until the monster's head broke out formless.
Not there, Alvin shoots a powerful ice dew to freeze the entire body of a giant magma monster, then shoots another thunderbolt at him.
Zlaarre... Zlaamarrr... Zlarrr...!!!
The body of the monster that had been frozen was instantly shattered as lightning struck all parts of its body.

After destroying the monster, Alvin turned back. He directly attacked the giant magma monster that had just emerged from within the magma river with ice dew, then destroyed it with a thunderbolt as well.
He did so repeatedly, each magma monster coming out of the magma river below.
But, the longer, the more monsters came out of that magma river.
Since he was currently only able to use one job hunter, Alvin began to fuss as more and more giant monsters sprung up and attacked him simultaneously.
"Mina... I think I'm going to die this time..."
["Yes. We have no way this time..,"] said Mina. His voice sounded lethargic.
"W-what?! Why are you too... Argh..."
One hand of the monster managed to hit Alvin's body until he bounced down into the magma river.
"Suck!"
Alvin was trying to get out of that very hot magma river. Had Hunter Equipment not protected his body, he would have already been charred in flames by the extremely hot smoldering magma.
He threw spider webs to one of the monsters to be able to get out of the river that had submerged his body to the waistline. However, his efforts were in vain as his net instantly caught fire upon encountering the monster's body.
As he was still thinking of a way to get out from within that magma river, one of the giant monsters lunged and pushed him deep into the sea of blazing hot flames.
