The Opposition of a Bellian

On a rickety chair, Sean was stunned by the circumstances inside Nico Azer's house. The house had no cubicles, only one room and the other room was a bathroom.

There was not much furniture in it, items were stored with origin. The cardboard piled up and the papers scattered. Sean could also see several empty bottles of alcohol left lying on the floor.

“So ... what business made you come looking for me?” The words of the gondrong man in front of him made Sean aware of the daydream.

Not thinking for long, Sean immediately gave Shiren Bellian a letter to her. Unlike a love letter, it was an appointment letter that seemed to be kept secret.

"Come to Urban Spaces at 12 p.m." Surprisingly, Nico Azer read the letter without regard to the volume of his voice so that Sean could listen to it very clearly."

Sean simply blinked not understanding their situation. Especially when Nico deliberately ignited a lighter on the end of the paper and managed to make the fire burn the letter with nothing left.

"Why?" With his mouth open Sean asked. "Why did you burn Shiren's letter?"

With a little frustration, the young man before Sean took out a cigarette and ignited a fire at the end. That disrespectful behavior bothered Sean a little, but he ignored Nico, also ignoring the smoke billowing around him.

"That's because I'm not coming!" nico Azer without a doubt. The young man's determination was evident in both of his eyeballs staring at Sean sharply and occasionally he returned to his cigarette.

Nico begins to recount the relationship that Shiren's older brother opposed, who else if not Soraya Bellian. At the height of the anger, the woman comes to Nico's place and gives an envelope with money to stay away from her sister. As a man of high self-esteem, Nico Azer realizes his poor orphan status and decides to end his relationship with Shiren Bellian.

Inevitably Sean has to listen to a cliche love story between them that is separated by status. However, Sean's goal here is not to listen to Nico Azer's curses, but to search for the 'Chain of Eros' painting and immediately complete the mission of the system.

Nico Azer's decision to ignore the letter from Shiren had no influence whatsoever on Sean. Sean did not make any movements and just stared at the letter that had become completely ash. Actually, Sean wanted to avoid this situation, he really did not want to stand in the middle of the romance tempest between Shiren and Nico, let alone to involve Soraya Bellian.

"I asked Shiren about the 'Chain of Eros' painting and he said it was on you." Sean could not help but tell Nico his true purpose, but the young man looked at him with a complicated expression.

"Do you see that painting hanging in that place?" point Nico Azer at a painting hanging on one of the brick walls. "That's the painting you mean, Chain of Eros."

Sean who followed the direction of Nico's fingertips ended up in an abstract painting with a branch pattern and dominated black color combined with dark red looks so memukaannya.

"The Chain of Eros?" Sean made sure.

After Nico nodded to reassure him, Sean got up and got closer to the painting. The beauty of the 'Chain of Eros' made Sean's eyes stare straight not even blinking in the slightest.

From behind, Nico Azer stood in Sean's fingers. "That painting we made together to express our feelings."

Sean really did not expect that it turned out that the painting was not only expressing Shiren's feelings, but also Nico Azer's feelings simultaneously.

Sean's desire to buy the painting was expressed blatantly, but it can be estimated that Nico Azer rejected it firmly. It was Nico's only memory with Shiren.

"How much money can that painting replace? 100 million? Or do you want to change the numbers behind it?" haggard Sean is full of confidence.

The reaction from Nico Azer only shook his head, but Sean clearly saw his lips smiling wryly.

"You want to negotiate with me?" With a word of emphasis, Nico Azer asked again. "If only you could get Shiren's brother to approve of my relationship, I could consider the price for the painting."

Unexpectedly, Mekipun Nico Azer seemed indifferent to Shiren Bellian, but on the other hand his expectations of the woman were so high.

In order to achieve his goal, Sean's mind was already dark. He went and tried to talk to Soraya Bellian as the key to his success.

In the cinema, Sean accidentally bought a ticket with a difference of one number from the seat number he gave to Soraya Bellian.

"Sean?" Kenzo Karrin beside Soraya.

"There's something I want to talk to you about" Sean said. The expressions of the two people did not seem surprised, as if they knew the direction of Sean's next conversation.

Not wanting to mess up the quiet cinema venue, they decided to get out and continue talking in Kenzo Karrin's car.

Sean who chose to sit in the back seat just stared at Soraya Bellian from his place.

"I don't think your anti-social opinion of Shiren is right" Sean continued, trying to throw a bait at Soraya. From the woman's expression, it was obvious that she was hiding something, but Sean couldn't wait to pull the hook. "As I said earlier, Shiren is not anti-social, he just rebelled against you."

"How can I let my sister have a relationship with a guy as obscure and messy as Nico Azer!" Full of emotion, Soraya Bellian barked from her seat.

Although it was a confession that made Soraya Bellian look innocent, neither Sean nor Kenzo Karrin looked at her with a gaze of judgment. Feeling desperate Soraya Bellian again railed the weakness of her sister's partner.

Sean himself could understand the woman's feelings. As the younger brother of a famous person like Soraya Bellian, his perfunctory appearance and strata from Nico Azer were not suitable for the Bellian family. But that's the problem Sean had to solve.

"If Nico Azer was a man who entered the criteria of good looking and good accounts, would you be able to let Shiren make his own decisions?" 

Sean's remarks made the woman with high self-esteem prefer silence not to answer. However, Sean was able to find out the truth through his eyes.

That's when the goal of getting 'Chain of Eros' will be delayed Sean. He must first turn Nico Azer into the man Soraya Bellian wants him to be.

The next day, Sean returns to the residence of Nico Azer. How surprised when Nico's appearance was more messy than the last time Sean met him. In fact, Sean smelled a pungent alcohol scent from him.

"You're consuming alcohol?" ask Sean blatantly. 

Nico Azer smiled bitterly. "Alcohol makes me forget my troubles."

For a man whose love is hindered by social status, Nico chooses the wrong path. Rather than trying to prove that he was a worthy match with Soraya Bellian's sister, Nico preferred to fall into her own abyss.

Can not be left alone, Sean immediately brought Nico Azer to choose some clothes and tidied his hair. However, Rico reacted differently. Without thanks he just said desperate words.

"If you just want to change me according to what big brother Shiren wants, then forget it. I want to be who I am." That speech was so contrary to Sean's principles. However, the young man could not keep quiet in responding to him.

"I changed you to please Soraya Billian?" Sean giggled, as if Nico Azer's prejudices weren't true. "Don't think so, I'm doing this for yourself. Aren't you tired of the disheveled look and the paint-stained clothes?"

"I'm a painter, isn't it natural that I always come home with a coat full of paint?" With a solemn expression, Nico Azer twitched in self-defense.

That's a funny thing. Nico shouldn't have given that classic excuse in front of Sean. As someone who both worked as a painter and had a downward social stratum, Sean's performance was better than his.

"Who do you think I am?" Sean gave a word of emphasis, as if to make Nico realize that his defense was not right. "My work is the same as yours, but I try to look good and try to leave an impression as a gardener's son."

Slightly astonished, Nico Azer did not expect that Sean had a profession with him. Nico's gaze swept across Sean's different appearance from him and managed to make Nico embarrassed by the seemingly fabricated reasons.

Sean tries to convince Nico back that what he does will give a good impression, not only to Soraya Bellian, but everyone who meets him. 

"It's not all that hard. I'm sure you can do it." Sean said again and Nico agreed.
