THE MY GREAT PAINTER SYSTEM

THE MY GREAT PAINTER SYSTEM
Bloody Painting 'Red Ballerina'

The sun is almost sunset, the view of the twilight with the background of the tea garden is so beautiful. However, Kenzo decides to bring Sean back soon. It's just that Alice doesn't come home with them, for a while she'll be staying at the villa with Elmi Carens. So did the Ellian who decided to cultivate Alice in that place.

The journey home without the two girls was so quiet, but Sean seemed to have gotten used to the silence with Kenzo Karrin. This time, the residence from him was not ordinary. His head looked heavy as if he was thinking about something.

"This isn't the way home, where are you taking me?" Sean realizes that the car is speeding not on its way.

Kenzo Karrin was reluctant to answer, preferring to set his sights on the wheel. The residence from him made Sean a little frustrated and unknowingly the young man fell asleep in his place.

"Get up, we've arrived." Kenzo Karrin's words lifted Sean's eyes. He got up and looked around.

It didn't look anything but dark, but the car lights highlighted on a small, slightly unkempt building. As the color of the walls was worn out, the spider made a web above the ceiling and around the building the weeds had grown to the knee of an elephant.

"You want to take me on a guts test?" Sean responds without intending to offend Kenzo Karrin.

The man did not want to comment, he preferred to get out of the car and open Sean's door. "The stakes are inside."

That was the short word he said. Without any other clarity, Kenzo is ahead of the go and Sean who does not want to miss soon catches up with him.

The view inside the building does not look different from the outside view. All the dark and even the moonlight could not penetrate this place.

‘Ctak!’

The light from the yellowish light suddenly lit up and flooded the room. Apparently Kenzo Karrin managed to press the light switch so Sean had no trouble looking inside.

Inside the building, there was nothing special. The sofas in the middle of the room were covered in white cloth and dust gathered on them. Some of the paintings installed in the easel also appear covered in white cloth.

"What is this place?" Sean ducked slightly to avoid the curtains hanging irregularly.

Different from the uncomfortable Sean, Kenzo Karrin seemed not the slightest bit bothered by it. He walked past her normally, not even Kenzo fussing when there was a spider web concerning his suit.

"This place used to be a studio, but now it's more suitable to be called a warehouse" said Kenzo Karrin.

Kenzo Karrin's explanation could only make Sean lower his eyebrows without being able to ask again. Even though Sean was so curious about what events made this building change function. However, the man did not want to talk, but he did an act that really surprised Sean.

One by one the cloths covering each painting were opened by Kenzo Karrin, and ….

‘Shop!’

When all the cover cloths came off, Sean made him shudder. The young man's eyes glared at what he had seen.

“There's no way you painted all this!” sean said in disbelief.

From the many fabrics that were revealed, Sean can see the horror of Kenzo Karrin's painting. Painters who are famous for the flow of surrealism have an imagination that is beyond Sean's reason.

How not, all the paintings in that place depict torture, drabness, pain, blood and other horrible things. Sean's body was in pain to see the scene in an unusual painting.

Previously, Sean had only ever seen beautiful and loving expressions in someone's painting, but for the first time he saw his own painting emotionally and ….

Sean felt nauseous in the place surrounded by the paintings, but to not offend Kenzo Karrin, he held it until Sean's entire stomach was stirred.

Sean knows a bit of Kenzo's past who is a renowned painter, but there is one thing he investigates without his knowledge. Kenzo is better known as the mysterious painter. His work is an anti-mainstream work that is difficult to reason with ordinary people. However, Sean did not expect that all of the man's paintings were imaginations about the brutality of his emotions.

“I heard all your paintings are gone without a trace and only ‘Blood of a Patriot is left, but I did not expect there to be many of your paintings here. You ... don't tell me you've bought all your own paintings and kept them in this place?” Sean guessed it right, but he didn't know the reason Kenzo Karrin did such a thing.

Sean tried not to be the slightest bit afraid of Kenzo's painting so he went around and noticed one by one the paintings that were in that place.

“I'm holding my psychopathic soul on this painting.” Kenzo Karrin made a sudden confession.

That was when Sean felt his life was close to death. Side by side with a person who has a psychopathic soul is the same as walking with the tip of a knife that leads to him. However, as much as possible Sean remained calm and did not consider Kenzo who could have been a prospective killer.

“I don't understand what makes you like this?” Sean spoke without looking at his interlocutor. His eyes looked at the painting one by one, but a painting set its sights on it. Sean just keeps looking at the painting with the name ‘Red Ballerina’ with depth.

Kenzo Karrin smiled mysteriously. “All this is a painting before it is contaminated with my emotions.”

In the beginning, Kenzo Karrin was just an ordinary painter. He always painted something beautiful to show his sick mother and had to lie in bed. But the problem occurred after the death of his mother.

His father remarried a young woman, but when his father saw his painting again, he remembered Kenzo's mother. However, it infuriated his wife and burned all the paintings of his stepson. He forbade Kenzo Karrin to hold the brush again.

It was then that all of Kenzo's anger and frustration was poured into the painting. He secretly came to this place and put his emotions onto the canvas.

Kenzo Karrin recounted something terrible that was expressionless, but Sean was able to see the rest of his suffering in Kenzo's eyes.

Sean did not want to judge Kenzo, he tried not to ask or make a single protest of his actions. The young man really appreciated Kenzo not only as a teacher, but also his feelings.

“Which painting do you want to give as our betting gift?” Sean re-emphasized his purpose of coming to that place.

Kenzo did not immediately answer, he walked up to Sean's silent fingers in front of the painting ‘Red Ballerina’.

“This,” point Kenzo Karrin at the painting in front of them. “All my work starts from this painting.”

“Red Ballerina?” sean was uncomfortable.

The painting of a ballerina with a black background painted with red paint made Sean's mind become disturbed.

“This ..?” Sean's words were decapitated with his own thoughts. He brought his face closer to the painting and his eyes shook suddenly . “This painting wear blood paint?”

He looked at Kenzo Karrin seriously. Sean grabbed Kenzo's left hand and pulled his sleeve up.

Sean could no longer say what he saw.

On Kenzo's left arm there are many cuts that Sean believes are the result of Kenzo injuring himself. The wounds were stories of his suffering that could only be poured inside the painting. “What do you think when painting ‘Red Ballerina’?”

“When my stepmother burned all my paintings .. I saw the sky so bright and fire seemed to dance on it. It was the first time I painted realism and the ballerina painting was indeed true using my own blood.” Kenzo looked at Sean. “How, do you want to receive a betting prize from me?”

Sean is out of words. For the young man, ‘Red Ballerina’ is scarier than the cursed painting ‘Cursed Chain. However, he should not be rash in deciding.

Sean closed both his eyes and not long after he let out a rough sigh. Sean smiled meaningfully and took the painting down from its place.

“Of course I will receive a gift from you.” Sean's reply left Kenzo Karrin a little surprised.

“Why? You'll feel disgusted, spooky and afraid every time you see the painting. Why did you accept it?”

Sean smiled with certainty. “That's because I want to take one suffering from you. Remember, I don't just assume you're my teacher, but more than that.”
