Color Harmony 'Water Tender'

After class ended, Sean returned to the dorm. There, Zavier came with a package for him.

Apparently the reward of the mission some time ago is only to this day.  Sean opened the contents and found the watercolor 'Mikro Spaces' type one which is a type of water color.

"I've never seen watercolors like this before, it must be of high quality, just like 'Broom Sweeper'" Sean muttered.

The new stuff makes Sean excited to try, but this place does not feel safe. He did not want Frans and Felix to find any more traces of his paintings. That'll make it harder on Sean himself.

Sean decides to try it in the studio, a safe and comfortable place where he can be alone without the need to pretend to be a loser. Sean brought the two items and immediately went into the studio. That young man was already impatient to try it.

'Harmony Spaces' is the theme Mr. Klano gave to participate in the upcoming Emerald Art exhibition. Sean had gotten quite a while to finish, but there was no reason for Sean to continue delaying.

Last time, Sean had finished the base paint and for the next he had to perfect the entirety of the painting. Trying to use the rewards from the system is the perfect help to get better results.

"Enable ability ‘Dragon’s Hand’.”

Dragon's Hand was used to enhance the painter's basic abilities. Sean had tried that ability a few times, but it was different now. He wanted to add another ability of the system's gift-giving.

“Activate Broom Sweeper’.”

“Enable Micro Spaces’ type 1.”

[‘Mikro Spaces’ has been successfully activated]

Now, the capabilities of the brush set and watercolor are already active. All of those abilities are activated simultaneously and immediately tested on canvas. But ….

“Waow! Beautiful!” Sean's jaw opened without comment.

The results of those three abilities could not be doubted. It's not really like Sean's painting.

A goose subject that is about to fly from the top of a tilapia-colored lake has the advantages of several aspects. The predominately purple-pink-white color forms a gentle gradation with a color tone that does not extend far.

“I'll name it with ..” Sean put down the brush and looked a little thoughtful. He was looking for a suitable name for his painting. “Tender Air!”

Water Tender which means soft air describes the atmosphere in the painting that is filled with a smooth atmosphere like being in another dimension.

Sean's attention turns to the sound of the car stopping in front of the studio. From the glass door, Sean can see Kenzo Karrin down and go inside.

“One coincidence!” inner Sean went to greet him.

Kenzo Karrin doesn't need a good reason to come to Sean's studio. This place is like its own place. Kenzo Karrin entered the studio without having to get permission from the owner. Sean doesn't mind that. To him, Kenzo was his teacher who made Sean minus the salute.

“It just so happens that you came, there's something I want to show you.” Sean showed me his still-moist painting. “Name ‘Tender Air'.”

“Painting for the exhibition in Emerald is it? You once said the theme was ‘Harmony Spaces’ and this painting really represents it.” Kenzo Karrin seemed dissatisfied just by looking, he brought his face closer to the painting and noticed every detail in it. “Try to give a stronger accent to the goose feather, pay attention to the irradiation and I admit you can make a spot light that is so soft and blend with the background colors. Try giving lighting on the top of the goose body, on the iris of the animal's eyes and also small ripples on the surface of the lake.”

Sean listens to the advice of Kenzo Karrin and continues his painting again, but Kenzo unceasingly gives advice.

“It would seem more dramatic if you put some feathers flying and some more floating in the water,” continued Kenzo Karrin who could not be rejected.

Sean knew, the advice from Kenzo Karrin would improve his own abilities, so he had no choice but to follow his wishes.

Not long after, they had finished the painting. The results are good enough for a budding artist and still bear the label of a student.

From this, Sean admits that what Kenzo Karrin knows about painting is not ordinary knowledge. Otherwise, the bespectacled man would never have been able to complete ‘Blood of a Patriot’ with such a high level of ability.

“SH?” cetus Kenzo Karrin observed the initials of his name. “Why don't you just write your name?”

Sean smiled bitterly as if his gaze was harboring something painful, “I once told you that sometimes I have to be in certain conditions and this time is one of them.”

Kenzo Karrin looked at him cluelessly, but Sean gave no definitive answer. Rather than being shackled in an atmosphere that made him uncomfortable, the young man turned to look at his phone.

A message came in and Ellian was the sender. They promise to meet at Ellian's house to practice painting and Sean agrees.

Sean got up and tidied things up on the table. Seeing that, Kenzo Karrim looked at him curiously.

“Where? I'll take you.” As usual, Kenzo Karrin volunteered to drop Sean off. The young man agreed and they got into the car.

“Where are your goals?” Kenzo Karrin didn't notice Sean, he was tightening his seatbelt.

“To your house,” replied Sean without sin.

Kenzo looked up and looked at Sean sharply. “What do you mean?”

“Ah, I have to see Ellian now. You don't want to make him wait for me, do you?” sean's unproven tease is just a joke.

Kenzo Karrin was speechless with a stone-like stiff expression, “Kau .. Do you often get together with Ellian at my house?”

“Of course yes. No need to worry because your future sister-in-law is a billionaire,” Sean's light comments that successfully made Kenzo Karrin's head burn.

Although Kenzo dislikes Sean's closeness to his sister, he drives back home. Outside, there was already an Ellian waiting for Sean.

Sean came out and immediately greeted Ellian, they immediately entered and considered the presence of Kenzo Karrin as just smoke from mosquito repellent. 

Inside the Ellian house, Sean immediately opened his picture book, as well as the Ellian. The girl showed off the results of her training all along.

“That's good, you need to practice harder to reach the standard. The student admission exam will open soon, you don't want to fail being an art student, do you?”

Sean's words made Ellian's spirit smolder, he was so motivated to follow in the footsteps of the person he idolized.

After the rehearsal was over, Sean rushed to go home, but Kenzo held the young man back. He invites Sean and Ellian to dinner together.

In a fancy restaurant, the three people sat face to face. While waiting for the food to be served, they talked lightly.

“You remember my friend Alice, Sean?” ask Ellian to Sean. The young man just nodded his ass at the memory of the cat owner named Boboy. “She wants to ask for your help at her grandfather's request.

"His grandmother?" Kenzo. "That means Elmi Carens. He was a painter in his era. In her old age, Elmi Carens lost her eyesight due to cataracts."

"As you know, Elmi Carens is Alice's grandmother. After hearing her grandson's story about Sean, she was interested in asking him for help."

After hearing the explanation of the brothers in front of him, Sean became a little understanding. It would not hurt to help Alice with her abilities.

Sean seemed to think a little. "What painting does he want?"

"Memories" replied Ellian. "Elmi Carens wants you to paint a picture of her youth with Elmi Carens' husband."

It was an impossible thing for Sean, how could he describe the memories of someone he never even knew? Moreover, Sean painting is intended for a person whose vision does not work. Impossible!
