Chapter 85 Strange Ideas Dimas

Steven finally arrived home. As she promised Sylvia, she asked her papi for help preparing hospital equipment in her room along with a trusted personal nurse.

After Sylvia made sure everything was complete, she went home. Dimas and Arya also take Steven home. Steven was escorted to his room in a wheelchair. His feet were too weak to walk.

After entering his room, Steven did not want to be put on the bed, he instead asked to be escorted to the back house by his nurse named Sissy to meet with Jade.

Upon arriving at the back of his house, Steven noticed Jade was fast asleep on his beloved little carpet, as usual. Then Steven asked Arya for help to lift Jade into his lap and return to his room. This time it was Dimas who pushed Steven's wheelchair because with Jade on his lap, it made Steven's wheelchair heavier than ever, so it's definitely going to be harder for Sissy to push Steven's wheelchair.

"So, you're gonna take Jade to bed with you in the room, Tev?" Ask Arya

"Yes, like when I was a kid, remember?"

"Yes, we remember. But now you're a big boy, Tev" Dimas said.

"I'm doing this so I can monitor it easier than I have to go back and forth from the room to the back. Besides, my bed is big so it can still fit me and Jade"

"Yes, yeah... It's up to you, Tev"

"Sissy, your room is next to mine. So, if there's anything I'm easy to call you. Now, I need you to go to the room and rest. Because my two best friends are here so I haven't needed your help in the meantime"

"Well, thank you Sir" Sissy said

"Please call Koko yes"

"Yes koko"

The next day, after work Dimas and Arya deliver Elena to Steven's house. Hans welcomed Elena's arrival well. Then he took Elena to Steven's room. Upon arriving at Steven's room, Hans and Dimas went out first to speak. While Arya was still in the room to accompany for a while.

"Hello kokoo..."

"Hello, Elena"

"How come Koko's pouting at me?"

"So you look fresh and cheerful, while I look so lethargic"

"Koko will be sick again, it's natural that he looked lethargic. I also actually stink of sweat, I just got home from work and haven't had a bath"

"Yes, yes, too. Try to get closer for a second, Elena. My voice is hoarse, so I can't talk loud"

"From now on, please call me Stevie, don't be koko anymore. I like you calling me that"

"Alright, Stevie" Elena said with a grin.

"Stevie?" Arya who heard him was confused. Elena and Steven smiled at Arya's reaction.

"Yes, from now on Elena calls me Stevie. You mind?"

"Of course not. Why should I mind?"

Steven smiled. He knew that Arya was jealous.

"Then, I'll stay you two first. He said he wanted to talk to me and papi"

"All right"

Steven and Elena then continued the conversation while holding hands.

"So, is this Jade" Elena asked.

"Yes, it's Jade. Jade, get up for a second. Elena wanted to meet you" Steven's right hand held onto Elena, while his left hand gently stroked Jade's fur. But Jade only let out a subtle snoring sound a sign that she was still sleeping.

"I hope he can recover soon" Elena said sadly.

"Yes, I hope so too"

Shortly after, Steven's room door opened. Dimas and Arya come in. Hans followed behind him and started talking.

"Sorry to interrupt your time, but Dimas has an idea that both Papi and Arya think... Well... It's kind of weird, but you better listen to me, Steve. Papi stay first. Please discuss, but remember, don't make a fuss. Okay?"

"Okay, pi" Dimas and Arya said together, while Steven was still confused by them.

"A... What's??" Steven and Elena said together.

"I told you your idea was weird, Dims" Arya said

"Hey, listen to me. I'm doing this for your happiness too, Tev. So Elena can take care of you without any awkwardness"

"But, this isn't fair to Elena, Dims. Now I'm asking you and Arya. If you're in my position, do you want to marry Elena too? He is young, his life is long. While me? I don't know when I can survive"

"I want to marry you, Stevie. Just so you want it too. Dimas has a point too. I can take care of you until you're healed. I'm sure I can"

Elena's answer surprised Dimas and Arya. But they were even more surprised by Steven's reply.

"But I can't do it, Elena. Not because I don't want to. I'd love to. But I can't be selfish because I want you to be happy"

"But I'm happy with you, Stevie"

"Elena, please understand" Steven said as he kissed Elena's hand

"Sorry, Dimas and I should go out first so you can talk together" Arya said.

"No, it won't be long. Elena, it's night. You better go home with Arya and Dimas. I don't want your grandparents to worry. Tomorrow we talk again. Okay?"

"All right" Elena said with a long sigh

"Guys, please take Elena home. I am tired and need time to think. Tomorrow we talk again. You don't mind, do you?"

"Yes, Tev. Come on Elena, let's go home first" Dimas said.

"We go home first, Tev." Aryan

"Yes. You guys be careful" yeah"

Elena who was disappointed with Steven straight out of Steven's room without saying anything more. Steven could only sigh deeply, hoping that Elena would understand his decision.

All the way home, Elena was silent. He sits alone on the back bench, while Dimas and Arya are in front with Dimas driving his car. Shortly after, Elena cried.

"Dims, please get the car down for a bit"

"What's up, huh'?"

"That's Elena crying. I'm going to the back bench first"

"okay"

Dimas saw Elena crying so he felt bad, because this was his idea.

As Arya sat next to Elena, Elena directly leaned her head on Arya's shoulder while crying.

"He rejected me. Am I not worthy of him?"

"It's not so, Elena. If you were Tev, would you do the same?"

"But, I don't know... I'm so confused"

"If you love someone, don't you want to see them happy too, Elena?"

Elena stopped crying and started thinking about Arya's question. Then Dimas started talking.

"I'm sorry, Elena. Arya and papi are right, my idea is weird. If I hadn't expressed my idea, you probably wouldn't have cried like this"

"No, mas. I know you mean well. I'm not gonna cry anymore so you don't worry anymore"

"Yes, so much better"

"You want to change your drive, Dims? But you're sitting here, Elena"

"What are you doing' driving in front alone like a chauffeur?"

Dimas and Arya continued to argue until they arrived at Elena's grandfather's house. But at least Elena stopped crying because she was surprised to see the behavior of Dimas and Arya who never seemed to get along.
