Chapter 37 That Means a Lot

Dimas and Elena are on a plane bound for Jakarta. Unlike the time of departure, this time Elena looked calmer. As usual, Dimas offered his hand for Elena to hold onto to divert Elena's tension from fear of boarding the plane.

Elena hesitates to hold Dimas' hand and Dimas realizes it may be due to Dimas's own actions that have made a mess today.

"I'm actually ashamed of you, Elena. As a result of my actions today, I have troubled you and Arya. I feel unworthy to be your leader" Dimas said, covering his face with both hands.

But Elena's actions surprised Dimas. Elena took Dimas' hand and held it.

"Everybody made a mistake, sir. Including me, of course. But I want you to know that whatever happens today will not take away my respect for Mr. Dimas. All this time in my personal opinion, the father is a good leader and I am amazed by the father" said Elena with a smile.

"really?"

"Yes, right" Elena nodded her head still with a smile.

"Thank you Elena, those are the best words I heard today. I promise not only you but also to myself not to repeat my actions today"

"Yes, it's best that sir" Elena still smiled as she looked at Dimas.

"Smiles are so sweet. If only it could be mine. But it's a pity that I've lost the chance to have it because of my own mistakes" Dimas said in his heart, grieving.

The plane had already taken off, but Elena was still holding Dimas' hand.

After some time, Elena finally released her hand from Dimas. That's because he's asleep. Then Dimas looked at the sleeping Elena.

It was already dusk when Dimas and Elena arrived in Jakarta. They were then picked up by Mr. Darma who had also picked up Arya at the airport.

On the way, Elena who looked sleepy was looking outwards when Dimas asked her to speak.

The next day, Dimas awakens to the sound of a phone call. He looked at the phone screen and saw Arya's name and picked up the phone.

"Dims, you just woke up?"

"Yes, yeah'. I think I came to the office a little. I'm still tired. It's all right?"
