Chapter 28 Steven Fretting

"Are you okay, Elena?" Ask Dimas in the elevator. In addition to Dimas and Elena, there are Arya and Cindy who had earlier embraced Elena because Elena looks still somewhat shocked by Redi's treatment earlier.

"It's okay, sir. Just a little bit of shock earlier" Elena said honestly.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine now" Dimas said trying to calm down.

"Please don't fire Redi because of me, sir. Because I'm sure he's a good guy"

Dimas and Arya looked at each other. They had expected that Elena would react like this.

"Don't worry, I won't fire Redi. But he must learn from these events, so tomorrow he will get a warning letter in accordance with the company's regulations"

"Okay sir, thank you. At least he wasn't fired"

"Yes, now you I take you home" said Dimas.

"But if you want to ride Lucky just like I did this morning, it's okay, Elena. Do not wear jammed again" said Arya also offers.

"It's nothing, sir. I'm just going home in public transport"

Dimas and Arya immediately protested disapprovingly. Elena must not go home alone considering her condition is not good.

Elena simply smiled looking at them as well as feeling grateful for being surrounded by good people.

The next day, Steven makes a video call to Dimas and Arya

"Dims... Yes'... Your schedule today is tight?"

"If I don't, don't know Dimas" said Arya.

"I really want to talk to Redi in the morning, but it seems like there is no important schedule anymore. Why, Tev?"

"If you can clear the schedule please stop by my office before lunch. Somebody wants me to talk to you guys"

"Well, I'll be straight to your office, Tev." Aryan.

"I'm also done with you, Tev"

"Okay, thanks. I'm waiting"

"Yes, Tev" Dimas and Arya said.

Steven hung up the phone and prepared to leave for the office.

Dimas came in the morning as usual and immediately called Redi who had arrived earlier than Dimas. He knocked on the door before entering Dimas's room.

"Come in! Please sit down, Redi"

"Yes, Sir"

"You know why I called you. I already know all you did to Elena, but not from Elena's own mouth. Obviously I already have proof so you can't go around anymore."

" I'm sorry sir, I know I was wrong. But please don't fire me, sir"

"Don't worry, I won't fire you even though I'm disappointed because as far as I know you're a good employee. But, as a lesson so that this event does not happen again, you will get SP 1 or Warning Letter 1. If there is a Warning Letter 2, it means inevitably you have to leave this office. You got that, Redi?"

"See, sir"

"Then you can get back to work. Later the HRD will contact you for your warning letter."

"Yes, Sir"

"Where is he now? I think I haven't seen him yet" said Arya

"Yes, I don't see it either. Is he still in the same law, papi?" Ask Dimas.

"He's not in the law, Dims. But Papi told Aldo to hold the position of director at the Surabaya branch office because the previous director resigned"

"Good dong then" said Dimas.

"He didn't want Dims because he still wanted to hold my position here, but Papi said he held the position in Surabaya first for a year, if he's capable, he can take up a post at the head office in my place"

"What's your turf, Tev?" Arya was surprised by Papi Steven's decision.

"If he is able to come here replace me, while I was told to go to Surabaya replace him"

"What's? To Surabaya?" Dimas and Arya said together.

"Yes, so it all depends on Aldo's performance during the year"

"If you are in Surabaya, we rarely meet dong, Tev" said Dimas sadly.

"I can go to Surabaya once a week, but it feels definitely not the same as us who have been living in the same city" said Arya sadly.

"Well, how else. Though I was going to tell you that I had the intention of getting close to Elena, if this is my chance of becoming the smallest of you."

Dimas and Arya looked at each other in wonder. Just this time Steven was open and dared to speak up to approach someone.

"Do you like Elena, Tev?" Ask Arya.

"Yes. You guys too, right?"

Dimas and Arya who asked Steven instead became nervous and confused what to answer.

"Oh, come on. You think I don't know what? Yes... But if you don't like it, it's a good chance I have of getting Elena. All I bargain is who knows Elena wants LDR-an the same as me if later I become to Surabaya"

"If I'm the origin of you guys like each other, I agree that even though there is a sense of unwillingness too little, do not know if Arya" said Dimas.

"I also agree that you're. Your happiness is my happiness too" said Arya.

"Why yes I'm not surprised by Arya's answer" Steven said instead annoyed.

"Why do you look so upset, Tev" said Arya, scratching her head in confusion.

"You've always been that way, you like to give up. Didn't you want to compete healthily with me and Dimas?" Steven asked with a wry smile to Arya.

"If I really want to compete healthily with Tev, even I have the intention to stop being a playboy if Elena wants to be with me" said Dimas interjected before Arya answered Steven's question.

"Dims, I'm the same Arya why so you answer first anyway? Steven protested.

" Arya Abis was silent, so I answered him" Dimas reasoned.

Arya just smiled but after that she answered Steven's question.

"I love Elena, Tev. As much as I love my sister and as much as I can I will protect her until someone truly loves her sincerely"

"That's it, huh'? So you really don't want to compete with us?"

"Yes, really so. After all, after what I've been through, I'm not sure I can love anyone else anymore. You know why yourself"

Dimas and Steven just fell silent because they did not know what to respond to.
