Chapter 82 Is Getting Worse

Steven can't sleep. He recalled his last conversation with Sylvia regarding her condition. According to Sylvia, stage 3 lung cancer is a locally advanced condition. That is, the tumor has not spread to parts that are far from the initial location of cancer cells to grow. However, the cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes, such as under the chin, armpits, and between the thighs.

Symptoms of stage 3 lung cancer that appear in patients, are a cough that does not heal, bloody cough, and shortness of breath. Now Steven feels all three. All night he coughed continuously. And when he was about to sputum out in the bathroom, the blood came out. Steven panic. Staggered, he tried to reach the door of his papa room.

Steven who was finally able to reach the door of his papa room, knocked on the door weakly. Shortly after, he fell unconscious.

Dimas and Arya immediately followed to the hospital after Hans alerted them.

Steven was in hospital for a few days after he collapsed. Dimas and Arya take turns keeping Steven. When Steven started to wake up and examined by Sylvia, he just told Elena, Dimas and Arya about Steven's stadium which rose from stage 2 to stage 3.

Although she had promised to look strong in front of Steven, but Elena who was so worried could not stem her tears. But Steven instead smiled and comforted Elena by saying Elena's makeup would wear off if crying. Elena even replied that she was not wearing makeup at the time. Steven was embarrassed, so everyone laughed at Steven.

Sylvia then tells Steven that she will be back in chemotherapy soon. Steven began sulking by saying his hair is now thinning, after the second chemotherapy he was sure for sure his hair will run out all and become bald. But everything still strengthens Steven if after healing Steven's hair will grow again.

After almost a week in the hospital, Steven can return home again before chemotherapy next week. So while Steven was outpatient.

After delivering Elena to her grandfather's house, Dimas parked his car in a special parking lot for apartment dwellers with Arya. The plan is tonight he will also stay in his apartment adjacent to Arya's apartment.
