Sylvia was always upset whenever she called Steven, as she rarely picked up her phone. After trying to call five times, Sylvia finally gave up.
Then Sylvia decided to send a chat message to Steven.
"Steve, go to the hospital tomorrow. It's very important. I'm waiting"
Steven finally read Sylvia's message at night after coming home from work. His work was so much during this week that it took time and made him unable to find out the news of his two best friends.
Even when Arya came home from the hospital, Steven did not have time to pick up Arya even though it was represented by Dimas and Arya's family. But at least Steven had accompanied Arya in the hospital even if only once.
Steven then replies to Sylvia's message and promises to take the time to come to the hospital tomorrow.

Sylvia believes Steven is likely to arrive late today. Although actually Steven is the type of person who always comes on time, but it seems like lately he can not do it because of his extraordinary busyness.
Sylvia could have delivered the results of Steven's test via chat or phone, but this is too important and should be talked about in person, because Sylvia had to explain a few things.
The time had already shown at 7pm and Sylvia was clearing some papers before returning home. He had been working since morning while waiting for Steven to come but never showed up too. He was just about to leave the room when Steven finally arrived to meet him.
"Sorry Syl, you must be angry because I came so late."
Sylvia did not say anything, but she still allowed Steven to enter her room. Then he took Steven's file and handed it to him.
"This is your test result"
Steven's eyes glazed over after seeing the test results.
"So I... "
"Yes, Steve"
"I think it's just a regular cough, but it doesn't heal"
"You really quit smoking, right, Steve?"
"Yes Syl, ever since I coughed up blood like I told you before the test, I've stopped smoking, but it's strange that my appetite has decreased"
"That's one of the symptoms, Steve"
Steven scowled his temples, his tears almost falling down his cheeks.
"Am I going to die any time soon, Syl?"
"No, Steve. Still stage 2 and the tumor is still about 5 cm in size. You can still heal but you have to obey me. Can you, Steve? I can, I force. You have to be upbeat because I want you to heal"
"So, what should I do?"
"First and most important is that you should be able to take time for your treatment, you should not be late let alone missing. I know your job is important, but number one is your health because you can't possibly work if you're sick, right?"
"I think I should make some adjustments first, Syl. Maybe it's time I hand over the company to Aldo."
"Don't give up, Steve. Later if you are healthy there will be a way for you to clean up all the chaos in your company"
Sylvia is quite aware of the condition of Steven's family company, so sometimes she can give advice to Steven.
"You're lucky to still know in the early stages, Steve so I can say your chances of a full recovery can be above 80 percent if you're disciplined to seek treatment regularly"
"Okay, I'll follow your advice, Syl. So what treatment methods should I do?"
"Later there will be some methods, Steve. Treatment can be through surgery to remove the tumor in your lungs, then there are also methods of radiation therapy, and Chemotherapy. But first you have to get a biopsy"
"What's a biopsy, Syl?"
Steven immediately stroked his chest while imagining an incision that would later make an impact despite its small size.
"Don't worry, Steve. You will be fine as long as you remain optimistic and eager to deal with it"
"After what, Syl?"
"After that the tumor will be removed by surgery"
"Then chemotherapy?"
"Yes, Steve. But it's still a long time. After the operation, first observation"
"If I don't want to be in chemo what? I don't want my hair to fall out and become bald. I'm gonna have a hard time finding a boyfriend"
"You need to worry, Steve. She can also grow her hair again. Besides, you're not so ugly if you're bald"
Steven was just pouting at the explanation from Sylvia.
"So how much longer is my life, Syl?"
"If the treatment goes well and the cancer doesn't come back to the roots, chances are you'll live a long life like everyone else, Steve."
"You're not just trying to make me feel better, are you?"
"Ngga dong, Steve. I will always be honest with you, including about my feelings that unfortunately you refuse to make me heartbroken"
"Haha... Lebai you, Syl. Is the consultation finished yet? If I want to go home"
"You're late, now you're in a hurry to go home" Sylvia was really upset by Steven. This one patient is indeed a champion when it comes to matters of dissent.
"I'm so tired of it. Oh yeah, one more. Please don't tell anyone else about my illness. Let me tell them later"
"Including your 2 best friends?"
"Yes, including them"
"Alright, Steve. I'm not gonna tell them. But actually without you telling me sooner or later they'll know too, Steve"
"Yes, I know. I just need time to tell them. It's not an easy thing for me"
"Be strong, Steve. I'm sure you'll make a full recovery"
" Thanks, Syl. You brought a car?"
"Yes, Steve"
"Okay, then I'll go home. We'll have another conversation"
"okay."
"Bye, Syl"
"Bye, Steve"
After that Steven came home with a troubled and sad mind. But he must begin to devise plans for his own future that he does not know until when.
Steven also thought of his two half-sisters, Aldo and Emily. It seems that he will inevitably have to give up his position to Aldo as CEO at headquarters, hoping that one day Aldo will turn into a better person and stop making a mess.
What about Emily? Who will protect him when he's gone? Steven pulled his car off the highway and started crying.
