Chapter 43 Elena Shock and Steven Explanation

After making sure Elena was okay, Arya opened the car door until Elena sat down and Arya closed the car door. Then he opened the door for himself and sat in the driver's seat to run the vehicle.

Elena was more silent on the way home to Elena's grandparents. When I got in the car, Elena just asked Steven. After Arya replied that Steven was fine and was on the doctor's appointment, Elena felt grateful. But after that, he was silent.

But on the way, Elena suddenly cried with a loud and hysterical voice, making Arya startled and stopping her car to the side of the road.

"Come here" Arya said as she grabbed Elena into her arms. Elena was still sobbing, not as hysterical as before, but her tears were now on Arya's shirt. Then Arya took a tissue and wiped Elena's tears.

"I just don't understand why Lili hates me that much. I didn't take any of you... Huhuhuhoo..." Elena was crying again. Arya just shut up and listened. He knew Elena was still shocked by the incident.

"I was scared... I thought I was gonna die... Those people scare me... Huhuhuhu... " Elena was still crying with her body shaking because she was scared.

"Calm Elena... Don't be afraid anymore... You're safe now..." Arya said as she gently rubbed Elena's shoulder.

"Yes, Elena?"

"Actually my own brother personally did you ever like or pay more attention to Lili?"

"I? You mean did I ever like that Lilie?"

"Yes" But after that Elena was aghast. He was shocked and astonished himself why he dared to ask such a question to Arya.

"Why? Don't you want to know the answer?" Arya asked with a slanted smile and raised both of her eyebrows.

"Nga... Don't wanna know... Ga... Yes, don't answer it..." Elena was even more nervous at being asked like that by Arya.

"I love Lili, Elena. Like Dimas dear Lili. She's already I consider her own sister. There's no more feeling. Actually Dimas never forbid that me or Tev have more feelings for Lili. But, it seems like I love him just as much as brother to sister. I think Tev is too. She loves Lili and my sister, Dita. Because Tev was an only child, he had always wanted to have a little sister who he could spoil. That's as good as I was."

"Oh that's it, brother. I'm sorry I shouldn't ask that because it's none of my business" said Elena, who had started to stop crying, only occasionally sobbing.

"Ga nothing, Elena. I don't mind how he answers." After that Arya thrust the bottled mineral water she always kept in her car to Elena.

"Thank you, sister" Then Elena drank the mineral water.

"Now you're feeling good yet, Len?"

"Alhamdulillah have done it, sis. Sorry big sister's shirt got so wet with my tears" Elena said, looking down embarrassed.

"Ga nothing, this is no big deal. Now, would you like to go home or stop by for a meal? Are you hungry? It seems like you haven't eaten yet" Arya asked Elena.

"Ga know, I don't seem to be hungry because of this. We better go home, brother"

"You sure?"

"Yes my brother"

"But if in the middle of the road your stomach sounds, we immediately find a place to eat yes. How's it?" Arya started to tempt Elena to melt the atmosphere.

"Oh Arya, don't dong! I'm gonna be embarrassed!" Elena's face turned red with embarrassment.

"Hehehe... If you are embarrassed, funny... Yes, if you want to go straight home I anterin yes"

"Thank you, brother"

Arya just looked at Elena while nodding and smiling. Then he started the car engine and continued on his way home to Elena's grandparents.

Steven still looked at Leticia in surprise because Leticia shouldn't be here with him for treatment.

"She's overall good, there are only a few bruises and thankfully no broken bones" Sylvia told Steven and Leticia.

"Thank God... So Steven can go home, Doc? No need to be treated, right?" Leticia asked Dr. Sylvia.

"Yes, there is no need to be treated" Sylvia explained with a meaningful smile to Steven.

"Good, doctor. Thank ye. Then excuse us to go home first." Leticia.

Steven who had just been silent finally made a sound.

"Thanks, Syl. I'll go home first yeah"

"Okay, we'll talk again, Steve" said Sylvia, who seemed curious about Steven and Leticia's relationship.

"Okay, see you again." Steven told Sylvia.

In the vehicle leading to Leticia's house, Steven tries to talk to Leticia.

"mmm... Lettie, I appreciate your concern that you're willing to take me to the doctor, but this isn't really necessary"

"So you don't like it when I drop you off, Steve?" Leticia asked who did not understand Steven's intentions.

"It's not... Mm... You're supposed to be with Dimas and you know that your parents and Dimas' parents are trying to get you and Dimas together?"

"Oh... About it... Yes, I know, Steve."

"Sorry Lettie, Dimas is my best friend and I don't want to mess up your matchmaking"

After that they were silent and dissolved in each other's minds until Leticia arrived at her house. Steven had opened the door for Leticia before Leticia walked into his house.

"Goodbye? I don't mind seeing you again. We're friends"

"Unfortunately, I don't want to be friends with you because I want more of it"

"Oh... Okay. Again sorry about that, Lettie. Please give my regards to both of your parents"

Leticia simply replied with a nod of her head and smiled. After that, he went into the house.
