Chapter 77 Steven's Biopsy

Steven still remembers his trip to Bali even though he is now home. Actually while on the plane heading home to Jakarta, Steven just wanted to enjoy time alone with Elena. But to avoid Celine's suspicions, so the seating arrangement changed again. Celine got her wish to sit near Steven on the bench for three people.

The window seat was occupied by Elena, then Steven in the middle, and Celine in the corner by the hallway. To help Elena overcome aerophobia, Steven finally holds Elena's hand secretly so as not to be caught by Celine.

Steven was picked up by Mr. Sofyan and this time Elena did not go home with Dimas like the time to leave because Steven wanted to take Elena home and with Celine also because their house was close together. Steven actually wanted to have privacy to be alone with Elena, but because there was Celine so he had to be patient and choose another time to be together again with Elena.

Steven is currently at his papa's house to discuss Steven's treatment. Hans Simmons - Papi Steven and Steven were already in the room. They were waiting for Aldo to arrive.

Steven's stepmother Meilinda and Emily already knew about Steven's illness. They were sad, of course, but the hardest hit was Emily. Steven's stepbrother whose character is introverted after knowing about Steven's disease becomes more closed. All day he just locked himself in his room. Even every time the whole family joined the dinner table to eat together, Emily rarely joined.

Steven was just about to check on Emily when Aldo who had been waiting for finally came too. Steven was shut in Emily's room. Since the whole family has learned of Steven's illness, then this time they will discuss about Steven's role in the company.

"Sorry, the road was jammed earlier"

"Okay, what matters is that now you're coming. Yes, we started it right away. Go ahead, pi"

"Aldo, tomorrow Steve has begun to enter the initial stage of treatment, namely biopsy. The possibility of a new biopsy results is a week later, so post-biopsy although not as heavy as surgery but still time-consuming. So during Steve's treatment, the CEO's position at the company will be replaced by you, Aldo, to a deadline that cannot be determined. So Papi and Steve are hoping you can do your job 'good."

In Aldo's heart smiled. Finally what he wanted could be achieved as well. But he has to keep a grieving face in order for Steven and Papi to trust him.

"Then what company in Surabaya, pi?" Ask Aldo as if he cares.

"On that let papi take care of it. You don't have to worry. You focus on the headquarters and don't forget to pray for Steve's recovery."

"Yes, pi"

Steven who had just been silent observed Aldo's expression. He still can't trust Aldo.

"Are there anything else Steve would like to add?"

"Nothing, pi"

"Well, then you can go to the room to rest"

"Good, pi"

After making sure Aldo is gone, Steven reveals his plan if later circumstances do not allow him to recover. They constantly argue. Hans dislikes some of Steven's plans because he is still convinced that Steven will recover from his illness. But what makes Papi Steven most inflamed is when Steven talked about his idea of cremation with his beloved dog Jade if he did not live long.

"Cremacy with Jade? Nonsense! Surprised, how can you think like that? Papi knows you love Jade so much, but not like this, Steve!"

"But calm down, I can explain"

"Later you explain. Papi's chest is sick"

"Come on pi, I'll take you to the room and take some medicine"!

After that, Steven cried. He was just surprised that he was sick even among his children who were also sick.

The next day, Steven had a biopsy. The small operation to remove tissue from Steven's lungs did not last long. Papi Steven took Steven to the hospital.

Sylvia exits the operating room and tells Hans that Steven's biopsy went well. Currently Steven is still unconscious because he is still under the influence of drugs.

Steven's biopsy results are coming out in one week. It will be read by Sylvia. These results will determine the next step of Steven's treatment.

After the biopsy, Steven was treated in just one day to recover his physique. If it improves, then Steven is allowed to go home.

Dimas, Arya and Elena come home from work to see Steven. After finding out Steven was accompanying, Papi Steven then went home.

After Steven returns home, Steven asks his two best friends for permission to leave Elena and himself alone.

Dimas and Arya. They then decided to go to the hospital canteen.

After making sure Dimas and Arya had left the room, Steven took Elena's hand and grabbed her.

"I'm a bit inferior actually, because the incision in my chest later might be a bit unpleasant to look at. Looks like I can't show off my chest anymore, Elena. If I plan to go swimming with you later, maybe I can't boast of my body shape anymore."

"Shop... Koko shouldn't have thought of that. The important thing I think about is the health of my dog. So don't think anymore. Okay?"

"Yes, fine if you say that"

"That's dong! Anyway koko must continue the spirit, do not give up. It won't be easy, but I'm sure Koko can"

"Well, encouraging words too. You should be a motivator, Elena"

Soon, Dimas and Arya return with food for the three of them. Steven had eaten earlier with a bribe by Elena, but only a few bribes because Steven started to feel nauseous.

Papi Steven called Dimas to ask if Steven was awake or not. Then Dimas replied that Steven was awake and had dinner, even if only a little. After making sure Steven was in good shape, Papi Steven ended the conversation.

Dimas and Arya decide to accompany Steven tonight. After Dimas, Arya, and Elena finished dinner, Arya then drove Elena home.

After Arya has brought Elena home and said goodbye to grandparents who had not slept, Arya then returned to the hospital to accompany Steven with Dimas. Tomorrow morning Dimas and Arya plan to leave work from the hospital at the same time so that Steven is accompanying until the time to go home and picked up by Mr. Sofyan, Steven's personal driver.
