Chapter 1 When we were young

On Sunday morning, Dimas and Arya were still faithfully waiting for Steven to finish worshiping at the church with his family.

They hadn't met for a long time because of each other. After finishing college, Dimas and Steven finally comply with their father's request to become the company's leader. Steven has been CEO since he was 21 years old, shortly after graduating from S1. At that time Steven's father fell ill so Steven was forced to replace his father in the company.

Steven's mother had died of illness a year earlier when Steven was 20. At that time Steven was really hit and could hardly afford to continue his studies. But before dying Steven's mother named Helen advised to continue his studies.

Thanks to the support of his father and two best friends, namely Dimas and Arya, Steven was finally able to finish college with cum laude predicate. Of the three of them, Steven was indeed the smartest.

Dimas succeeded his father at the age of 25. He immediately held the position of CEO at headquarters in Jakarta. The position at the headquarters should be held by Dimas' older brother Prakash. But Prakash actually prefers a branch office in Singapore because he got a Singaporean soul mate and still lives there.

Among them, only Arya does not want to continue the leadership of the company like her two best friends. He wanted to be independent without relying on his parents and decided to make a living on his own, whereas in his family he was the only son. He only has one younger sister, so his father hopes a lot for Arya.

After Steven finished worshiping, they immediately took Steven to a 24-hour cafe owned by Steven's relatives named Sam.

Dimas and Arya just laughed hearing that.

Usually after going to church, Steven's family likes to eat together while talking about their respective activities for a week yesterday. Sometimes outside, sometimes at home. Usually in the front garden of Steven's sprawling family home.

"We rarely get together, too, Tev. We have not met for almost a month" Dimas said.

Tev is Steven's little name. Only Dimas and Arya were allowed to call by that name. Papi Steven called him Steve.

Arya instantly reacted and hit Aldo. Dimas and Steven who heard the noise in the house immediately approached and broke up Arya and Aldo. Since then, Arya never believed in Aldo again. He felt Aldo was planning something because he wanted to control his step Papi company.

After recalling the incident, Steven then diverted the conversation.

"The name of the tough trio is actually a bit tacky for us who are old... "
