Only Raised Children

Only Raised Children
82. Thomas's Advice

That night after leaving the hotel ballroom, Thomas invites Alina's family to chat in one of the private rooms in a restaurant. That night they seemed serious about the continuation of the relationship between their two children. The spirit of both families makes them easily determine the date of the wedding to be done two months later.

For the concept of the event, Zara and Santi who look enthusiastic there, make other family members smile amusedly with the behavior of the two women. While Rico himself who heard the very luxurious wedding plans from the mouths of the two women there felt hesitant to agree.

From the beginning she already had her own plans for her wedding concept that were not too fancy, but not as simple as people thought. He also had from the beginning intended to finance his own marriage without involving his parents' property. In addition to knowing his position, Rico also wants to contribute fully to his show that will occur once in a lifetime from the results of his own sweat.

He also wanted Alina to feel happiness from the results of her hard work so far. Although not as luxurious as Zara and Santi planned, but Rico promised if their wedding will not make Alina and her family disappointed.

And because he was very confident in his decision, Rico finally opened a voice that made the two women who looked excited to sigh.

"Aunt Zara, Mama, I'm sorry that Rico interrupted your conversation. For the concept of marriage can you leave everything to Rico? Rico wants the concept of marriage to the liking of Rico and Alina."

"That's what Rico says, let those who choose the concept. It's their wedding, so let this wedding be the most memorable for them by creating their wedding dream."

"Well, Mama's been really excited, but it's for the sake of Rico and Alina's happiness that we're going along, isn't it, Zar?" santi said to Zara.

"Yes, then we leave everything to you, but the rest leave it to us. Don't bother taking care of everything, just leave it to us."

Rico sighed again, but this time he published his smile. It seems like all must be discussed again in private to each other's parents, finally Alina and Rico just agree with the words of both parents. As the time was getting late, they finally decided to go home and would continue their conversation on another occasion.

...**...

The other day, that morning Alina's family was enjoying her breakfast together. The atmosphere of the morning seemed bustling with Morgan's jokes to his nephew, as well as Morgan's obnoxiousness to his sister Alina. Although they were enjoying the food, but their parents did not forbid their children to joke. Instead they are very happy because now the dining table can be crowded again, unlike in recent years which only filled 4 people. Even if there was no Morgan there, maybe their dinner would look quiet.

"Morgan, the joke does not delay," said Alfian reminded when he saw his sister made Alina put on a sullen face.

"Marahin only, Bang, indeed Bang Morgan likes to miss the joke" said Alina who added. Then the woman stuck her tongue out at Morgan, she looked happy that Alfian had always defended her.

"Abang is not cool anyway, cook Alina in the background continues, while I have never defended the same Bang Fian," said Morgan as jealous.

"You're a man, why should you defend. You can take care of yourself" said Alfian.

"That's not what dong is, Bang. Although I am a man, but I also want to defend Bang Fian. Don't keep Alina behind."

"If you don't want to be diomelin with his brother, so don't miss joking with his sister." Now Thonas spoke to his son who was a bitch.

Morgan wanted to make good on his father's words, but at that time Zara had already spoken to stop the debate between the children and her husband.

"Here you go, why are you arguing anyway, let's continue eating."

"Mama is the best." Morgan gave his mother a thumbs up. "Not like Bang Fian with Papa who likes to corner me," he said later with a face made to frown. Makes his family there laugh.

Breakfast was back, but not as crowded as before. As the food on the table began to run out, Alina asked her parents to go to the living room to talk about something. Once there, Alina immediately expressed her intentions to discuss her marriage.

"What's up, Al? Do you want to advance the wedding date?" ask Zara curiously.

"That's not it, Ma, actually Alina wants understanding from Mama and Papa."

"What's the sense, honey?" ask Zara again who is now her hero.

"Em, look, Ma. Rico has always been not confident in his status as an adopted child in the Renaldi family, and has since decided not to use the facilities of his adoptive parents excessively. When deciding to get married, Rico intends to finance everything with his own money."

"What do you mean, honey?" thomas asked inexplicably.

"Yes just like Alina said, Pa. Rico doesn't want to overuse his parents' facilities, so he wants to pay for his entire marriage without his parents' interference."

Alina bit her lower lip, her eyes staring at her parents doubtfully, afraid that her mom and dad would misunderstand her intentions. Honestly, he also did not know how to convey this point to them.

"Has Rico talked about this with his parents?" ask Thomas.

Alina shook her head.

"No, Pa, but he'll say it as soon as possible."

Thomas sighed at the answer his daughter had.

"Honey, Papa has no problem at all with Rico's will, because what he did was just because he didn't want to make things difficult for his family. She is so mature and independent for herself, but as Papa knows, Mama Rico already thinks of Rico as her own biological child. Everything they have done so far is none other than to make Rico happy. Although Rico is not their biological child, but the love of Santi and Irfan is very big on him. Papa does not want to judge Rico, but Papa can guarantee that both Rico's parents will definitely be disappointed with this decision. Especially for her mother who loved her only son so much, she would have been very sad to feel that Rico didn't need her."

Alina was silent with her papa warning.

"What you said is true, my dear. Papa you've known mama Rico for a long time. He knows what if Santi's already in love with someone."

"So how's Alina, Ma?" alina asked confusedly.

"You talk to Rico about all this again. Tell him to lower his ego in front of his parents."
