111. Alina's Delay

After breakfast was over and Alina's condition had improved, Alina and Rico were now preparing to go to the office. Although he had promised to take leave, but today he had to keep going to work to finish his job. He couldn't just take an impromptu leave even though the company he worked for now belonged to his own brother. He has to be professional in everything he does including his current job.

"If your body doesn't feel good anymore, call mom or Rico, baby. Do not be forced to work, your brother must understand your current condition," said Santi when his daughter-in-law was about to leave. 

"Yes, Ma, Alina will definitely call mama or mas Rico if it's not strong."

Actually Santi was very sad if Alina today had to go back to the office, but she also could not force the woman who wanted to finish her job. Maybe today she should let Alina go to work, but tomorrow she hopes Alina really fulfills her promise to take time off and rest well until the complaints on her pregnancy are over. 

On the way to the office, Alina's hands rubbed her slightly protruding stomach. With her weak body, Alina smiled as she felt her already uneven stomach. 

Rico is also saddened by his wife who looks weak, but on the other hand he is also happy because soon he will become a father. 

"Dear." 

Alina turned to her husband who spoke.

"What's wrong?" alina asked in her soft voice.

"You don't have to work today. Come to the office and rest in my room. I'll call Morgan and bang Fian for your permission" Rico said.

"Darling, I don't want to. I've promised to take leave from tomorrow, so let me work today yes" Alina said.

"But, honey, I really don't have the heart to see you vomiting like that again. Especially in the office there is no me, I really do not calm down to work if you are like this. Or do you just want to go home? At least at home there will be a mother who will help you," said Rico again possessively.

"Darling, I'm really nothing. There's gonna be a Morgan bang just as much as a Fian bang. I'm not really alone. Sister Marissa also often visited there with Lala, I can ask her if my body starts to feel bad."

"But I'm really not calm leaving you with this kind of situation" Rico said.

Alina smiled as she gently rubbed the arm of her husband who was driving. Then Ricoko took off her hand touched by his wife from the steering wheel and clasped his wife's hand. 

"You take it easy, anyway if I have a little complaint, I will definitely call you. I promise I won't force myself to work so hard that we're hurting our son."

Rico was silent for a moment before responding to his wife's words.

"But you promised me you'd keep calling me even if it's just a light headache?"

"Yes, Honey. Don't worry, I'll call you."

Rico sighed, could not force anymore and could only obey his wife's will. Well, maybe today was the last day he felt uneasy about having to let his wife work under these circumstances. But tomorrow, it seems like she has started to calm down because Alina will be safe with her mother at home. He has to make sure Alina takes leave for tomorrow until things return to normal.

Rico smiled gently at his wife, rubbed her head gently and then refocused on the steering wheel that would take them to the ZW Corps building, where Alina worked, before he plugged his gas into the office where he worked, Rena Group.

Like the previous days, today Alina came back late to the office. Due to the morning sickness that happens to her every morning, it makes her difficult to come on time. Both of her brothers also understood Alina's delay because they knew her sister was currently pregnant young. 

Actually they also pity to see Alina come to work with a weak state like this, but they can not force because Alina who is so stubborn want to keep working. 

Alina walks into the office along with Rico. Rico deliberately took his wife to his room because he was very worried about the state of his wife. Although Alina had forbidden him to get out of the car, Rico still wanted to take his wife to get into his room.

Alina's delay has been nothing new in the past month. Some ZW Corps employees do not care about the delay of the woman because they only think about each other. Some of them seem to dislike it. They assume that Alfian and Morgan are unfair about Alina's delay. 

"Enak is the son who owns the company. Daytime is not a problem, salary will not be cut."

"About his brother who has a company, he was as good as just coming at noon. If we're late, there'll be punishment."

"Sir Fian and Mr. Morgan are not fair, cook just because family members, delays can be understood and end up being a habit."

All the babbling did not escape Alina's hearing every time she came late. Even if he was eating in the cafeteria alone, his ears always heard words that did not shake his ears. 

No one knows about Alina's pregnancy. Alina's stomach that has begun to bulge is not so clear because it is currently her pregnancy has just entered the second month. Alina also deliberately did not want to announce her pregnancy, let everyone know by themselves without him telling because he thinks there is nothing special about him so everyone should know if he is currently pregnant. Alina also did not want to be pitied because of this pregnancy that made her body weak.

Once in Alina's room, Rico leaves his wife to work. He had to go to his office to do his job. 

"Darling, remember yes, don't react to people's whispers about me. Pretend not to hear anything" Alina said before Rico walked out of her room.

Her husband had from the beginning heard the assumptions of the employees there about her were of course not happy. The sense of wanting to defend and reprimand also appeared, but Alina forbade Rico to do more because she did not want to look for a fuss in her brother's office. As her mother said, Alina should try to calm down and not think about the words of others so as not to interfere with health and also the condition of the womb.

If Rico defended her in front of her brother's employees and rioted, it would obviously put Alina to mind. He should not think about excessive things because he does not want something to happen to his womb. 

Rico, who was reminded by his wife, nodded in understanding. Although actually he could not bear to hear the employees there whispering about his wife, but he was more unwilling to make a problem that would make his wife more hurt.

As far as Rico, Morgan and Alfian were about to approach his sister after finding out that she had just arrived at the office. In addition to wanting to give her a job, they also wanted to make sure that her sister was doing well.

The door was knocked from the outside, and when Alina voiced Morgan and Alfian immediately entered the room. They approached her sister who was currently sitting in her work chair. 

"Darling, you just came?" ask Alfian first. 

Alina got up from her seat, wanting to approach the two brothers.

"Yes, Bang, Alina just came. Alina didn't stop having nausea this morning, so couldn't get to the office early."

Alfian led his sister to sit on the sofa and followed Morgan beside him. 

"Al, if you are not strong, you better not go to work first. We can't bear to see you come to the office weak like this. Your situation like this makes us all worried to know no" said Morgan. 

Since Alina became pregnant and suffered complaints such as morning sickness and others, the man who is usually nosy to his sister is now not so showing his innocence anymore. I don't know what makes the man stop harassing Alina, but it seems because of the affection that makes him unable to see the condition of his sister. 

"Sorry, Bang, if Alina worries you. Alina instead of intentionally making you worry, but Alina is not good if you have to leave again, even though Alina only entered one month after a sabbatical.

" You don't think about all that, Al. All you have to think about is your health. It is not important that you take a month or two months off, which is important that you are healthy. We all don't want to see you force yourself to work like this."

"Yes Bang, Alina knows. Sorry yes," said Alina again bowed. 

Alfian and Morgan who saw Alina bowed then could not bear.

"Yes, don't think about it. Now how are you, are you still nauseous and dizzy?" ask Morgan.

"For now it is not nauseous anymore, not too dizzy too. Alina can do office work."

"If dizziness is not forced, Al. Remember, brother does not want you to come to nothing just for taking care of this work," said Alfian again with full affirmation.

"Yes, Bang, Alina promised not to force herself to work too hard."

After a brief conversation with his sister, Morgan also gave a little work to Alina, as the woman in general. However, Morgan deliberately reduced Alina's job a little because after all she was Alina's brother. She loved her sister very much and did not want Alina to be too tired with her work. 

"Remember, Al, if the dizziness stops working. Don't force. Brother will not ask you to finish it quickly" Morgan said before exiting the room.

"Yes, Brother. Bawel really, get out there, I want to work," said Alina later.

He was very surprised why all his family always reminded the same thing repeatedly, even though he was very tired of hearing it repeatedly every day. She is currently pregnant and is experiencing pregnancy symptoms like a pregnant woman in general, rather than a person who is seriously ill. He did not feel the need to be treated as such, especially when the situation was going on normally.

After exiting Alina's room, Morgan and Alfian were about to return to their respective rooms. But then Alfian's very sensitive ears accidentally heard whispers from some employees. He heard some of the employees saying bad things about him and Alina.

"really. It's really nice so Alina, mentang-angnya brother director and owner of the company, his job so easy. Even being late is okay."

For the first time Alfian heard it coming out of the mouths of his employees. All this time he had never heard of it because all the employees who were there had gotten a warning from Morgan's assistant not to talk carelessly about Alina or the Wilson family in here. Even Bayu never brought up the gossip that vilified the name of Alina to Morgan or Alfian. He deliberately did not want to provoke a commotion that would make his boss angry later. He knew very well what would happen if such obscure gossip reached the ears of Morgan and Alfian.

But who would have thought if this morning Alfian would hear directly from the mouths of his employees who were rubbing Alina at work hours. Alfian and Morgan who loved his sister so much that they could not hear the words of his employees about Alina. Without a second thought they approached the employee to hear more clearly the faint words he had heard just now.

"What are you guys talking about my sister?" ask Alfian without further ado.

Two employees who were seen at one of the tables looked surprised to see Alfian and Morgan who came with sharp eyes staring at them.

"Sir Fian, Mr Morgan?" say them with surprise.

"Tell me directly what you said about my sister" Alfian told the employee a second time.

"Ka–we didn't say anything, sir," said one of the employees there lying. But not Alfian if you just believe the words of his employees, especially he is a person who is quite serious in responding to something.

"You think my ears are deaf? Can't hear the gossip you said earlier huh?" said Alfian who is now starting to show his emotions.

"Sir Fian, forgive us, sir. We were completely unintentional" said one of the other employees who now began to tremble in fear when he saw his boss who showed his emotional taste.

"Not intentionally? You guys gossiped in front of me and you said accidentally? Do you think I'm stupid? Tell me directly what you said earlier!" alfian shouted then who was already unable to control his emotions. He really did not accept seeing his beloved sister being gossiped about by his own employees.

Morgan who was there then put his brother back. He was afraid that if Alfian would explode more than this because he knew whatever was going on with Alina, then it was their first brother who would be the vanguard to protect their dear sister. 

"Don't, let this be my business. You come into the room, calm down, you'll soon meet with clients from abroad, won't you?" morgan reminded.

Soon his brother will meet with clients from abroad who had worked with his father while in London. Morgan knows that his client is a professional and perfectionist. He did not want Alfian to dissolve in his emotions and get carried away until their meeting so that it made everything chaotic. 

Alfian, who had just remembered that he would soon have a meeting with an important client, then snorted in annoyance. He sighed repeatedly to regulate his unstable emotions. If he was not meeting with an important client, then both employees would be exhausted in his hands. Even he would not hesitate to give a final warning to the two of them because they had messed with his beloved sister. 

Like Alfian, Morgan was silent for a moment before turning his body to face his two employees who were currently still frightened. He looked at the two employees with a flat look. Although Morgan had never shown Alina his affection directly like Alfian, yet he would not stay silent if someone dared to touch one of his family members. 

"Do you still want to work for this company?" ask Morgan in his flat voice.

"Ma–still, sir," said the two men almost simultaneously.

"alright. I'll give you one more chance to work at this company."

After saying so, Morgan turned around about to leave from there. Making the two employees breathe with relief because they think they are safe at the moment because Morgan did not scold him like Alfian had just done. But not yet 2 seconds they breathed a sigh of relief, Morgan turned back and said something that made them sit helpless. 

"After this the HRD will give you a final warning letter. If you do anything else, your name will be my blacklist from this country. I'll make sure no company will accept you again once you're out of here."

That's Morgan. A smart man, do not need to spend too much energy to show his emotions, but immediately act quickly.
