74. Announce Alina and Rico's Relationship

Dinner at night went with him with laughter smiles on both families. There was no more awkward or sad atmosphere between them as they tried to have fun tonight.

Zara desperately tried to restore her mood because Santi was talking about Aura, her first child. While Santi himself seemed to realize if something had happened to the first child of his best friend, trying to harbor curiosity until they have free time to tell a longer story.

Right now they're just going to talk about something that makes them happy. At the same time appreciate the intentions of their children who have prepared dinner tonight well.

Much they tell, starting from how their daily life during this time, to how their children can grow into the figure of women and men who are handsome and also smart as now. In fact, they also had time to talk about Alina's relationship with Rico which will make them become one family later.

"Alright, for the matter of marriage Alina and Rico later we will talk after the business is done okay," said Thomas and immediately agreed by everyone who was there.

"Pa, what if at the inauguration later, we announce our child's relationship and also Rico there?" zara said to her husband.

Thomas also seemed to think of input from his wife. Announcing Alina and Rico's relationship at the company's inauguration ceremony doesn't seem like a bad one, but they must see the approval of their children and Rico's parents first.

"Where, Al, Rico? You want your relationship to be announced at the company's inauguration?" thomas asked Alina and Rico.

"Where, Santi, Irfan?" ask Thomas to Rico's parents.

Alina and Rico looked at each other, they looked confused by the opinions of their parents. Especially for Rico who still feels insecure with Alina's family, he who is a nobody seems hesitant to announce their relationship in front of successful entrepreneurs who will attend the inauguration of the Alina family company later. Rico thought, if their relationship was officially published there, it means the wedding will have to be held very luxurious and will be attended by other important people.

Prior to this, Rico had planned a bit of his dream wedding party as well as the reclusive Alina. Closed does not mean to keep it a secret, but just want to invite some people important to their families.

He did not want to invite so many people they did not know because Rico was afraid that later he could not give a fancy wedding to Alina and become a gossip of the people. As we know, in this day and age people will be more realistic with the material they have. Not caring about himself, but Rico is only afraid that Alina and her family will be the talk of people because of her who is not maximal in making this important event.

Rico could make a massive event later with all the facilities his family has. But for himself, he had already promised not to wear his adoptive parent facility more than enough. After all, no matter how much he makes an event, the people who know who he really is in this family will always talk about it. And Rico did not want Alina's family and her family to hear the scorn coming out of those people's mouths.

So much did Rico consider of all that that it made him overthinking every day. People might say if he is too excessive because he thinks about it and actually he also does not want to think like this which will make him dizzy. But this kind of thinking Rico can't avoid because it all comes by itself to his brain.

Rico was about to reconsider Alina's parents' proposal but at that time Santi and Irfan turned out to first agree to the proposal of the two friends.

"That's fine. I'm even happy that Alina and Rico's relationship will be announced soon. After that, we can talk about their wedding date. I can't wait for us to be a daughter-in-law, Thomas, Zara," said Santi who looks very happy.

Seeing the face of Santi who seemed happy with their relationship, immediately made Rico become hesitant to reject the proposal from his family because it was impossible to refuse, so he was forced to agree with their words.

Alina who saw Rico's stiff face, she was well aware of her boyfriend's feelings with his current status. Although he had given an understanding to Rico about their differences, but somehow his girlfriend still looks not confident with her now. It's best that after he gets home from here he has to talk about Rico's status to his family.

Alina's family does not know if Rico is the adopted son of his friend. Their relationship is cut off before Santi and Irfan get married making them not know if Rico is actually the foster child in the family. Alina and Alfian also had not had time to tell it to his family because of their distance so far which is quite far. There was no way they could talk about this important matter over the phone. It seems like tonight Alina should really tell her everything to her family.

Upon arriving home, Marisa bids Thomas and Zara to take Lala to the room because her son has been asleep since he was in the car. While the others were still sitting in the living room because Alina was asking. Alina wanted to tell her family something about Rico, especially her parents. He wanted to say everything so that his parents could understand a little about what their marriage would be like.

"What's up, Al? It's night, what else to say?" ask Morgan who's getting sleepy. This day he was busy taking care of the company with Alfian and also the house they would occupy later.

"If you want to sleep, go to the room. I just want to talk to Mama and Papa" said Alina.

"No, I want to listen too. Brother does not want to miss the news," said Morgan, making Alfian just shake his head to see his random sister's behavior.

"Speak, Honey. What was? Is something bothering you?" said Zara later.

Alina breathed for a moment. His parents were good people, they could definitely accept Rico for who he was without thinking about who the man really was. He stared at Alfian for a moment, but his brother only raised his eyebrows because he actually did not know what Alina was going to talk about.

"Ma, Pa, did Mama and Papa approve of my relationship with Rico?" ask Alina first.

"Darling, what are you talking about? Of course we'll approve of you, let alone 'Rico has proposed to you. There's no way we don't approve of you" Thomas said. He was amazed by his daughter's question.

"Whatever you like, we'll give you our full support, dear." Zara also added. "At the same time Rico seems like a nice, polite, handsome boy. Why are you asking like that?"

"Ma, would Mama and Papa still bless us if Rico wasn't the son of Uncle Irfan and Aunt Santi?"
