113. Angel's Arrival in the Office

After doing all his work, Rico was about to leave the office to pick up his wife. He rushed because he did not want to make his beloved wife wait too long. Moreover, she was very afraid if Alina experienced dizziness for the umpteenth time, considering her condition was still on off.

When the elevator door that led Rico to the ground floor opened, he suddenly saw a beautiful woman who was familiar. The woman who dumped him a few years ago when she found out that she was just an adopted child in the Renaldi family. This woman is none other than Angel.

"Rico," exclaimed the woman with a face that looked glum.

Rico stepped out of the walking box, standing exactly two meters in front of Angel with a flat gaze.

"Rico," cried Angel for the second time.

"What are you doing here?" ask Rico then. He was very astonished to see the woman coming to his office in the afternoon like this with a look that looked pitiful in Rico's eyes. It was not her shabby clothes that made Rico feel miserable, but the look on her face that seemed to depict that the woman was in a mess.

Instead of answering Rico's question, Angel cried with her face down. Making Rico frown in wonder. He did not understand this woman in front of him, as if coming just wanted to get him in trouble because of the people who would assume a variety on them at this time.

Not wanting to create gossip in his office with his ex-girlfriend, Rico soon passes from there. Intend to leave Angel and ignore her. But just two steps Rico walked, Angel then voiced and stopped him.

"Ric, I'm sorry."

Rico was still in his position, standing behind Angel.

"I'm sorry I misjudged you all along. I was stupid to waste a man as good as you to choose a rich man who didn't appreciate me as a woman. Now I realize that all this time a sincere man loves me only–"

"I love only three women in this world" Rico said quickly by interrupting Angel's words. 

He was forced to turn around and stop Angel's nonsense so that his words were not heard by his employees who were there. Rico also walked up to Angel and stood a meter in front of him.

"Those three women are, the mother who gave birth to me into this world, the mother you now know as Mrs Renaldi, and Alina who is my wife. In addition, I have never loved any woman ., including all the women I have dated," Rico said in a soft, but emphatic voice. It's as if he insists on Angel if he never loved her even though they had a relationship.

Angel was silent at Rico's words. He was quite surprised and could not believe that the man had never loved him in the least. Though he was very sure if Rico loved him very much because the man did not accept when he dumped him first.

Did Rico deliberately say that to get revenge on him? Yeah, Angel thinks so, Rico just boasted that he never loved her because he wanted revenge for all his selfishness.

"You lied, Ric. Obviously you loved me very much at the time" Angel said confidently.

"Angel, do you really want to come to my office? Did you intentionally want to make the beans here? You know that I'm married, and my wife is pregnant, so don't let everyone gossip about us and make my wife's pregnancy bother."

Angel who heard that Rico's wife was pregnant was shocked. Rico wants a kid soon? Was his chance of getting the man back no longer there?

Angel shook her head slowly. No, there's no way Alina's pregnant. If the woman was pregnant, then the news would have been everywhere. Rico and Alina's family is not a careless family, whatever concerns them will certainly be known to the public and currently there is no news of the pregnancy of the wife of the prospective owner of the Rena group. Is Rico just gonna talk to him?

"Your wife is pregnant?"

"Yes, my wife is currently pregnant. I hope you don't disturb my household with Alina, so please leave before I ask the security guard here to expel you."

Rico turned around to leave, but again Angel held him back. But this time the woman bravely held Rico's hand, which shocked the man. Rico brushed aside Angel's hand and turned to look at her.

"Angel, what are you doing?" 

Rico's slightly raised voice made the employees who were there stare at them. Now Rico can not be evasive anymore if now he and Angel are the center of attention of his employees there. 

Angel was no less surprised by the employees there jumped in shock because his hands were pushed violently by the man who had been in a relationship with him. His voice that was rising never Angel heard all this time. He knew Rico as a quiet man, but who would have thought if he had managed to make the man raise his voice. 

"Why are you yelling?" angel asked as if he had not realized his mistake.

"You ask why I scream? Do you not realize that your arrival is just to find a commotion in my office. Remember, Angel, we were in a relationship long before I loved Alina, but that was all the past. At that time you yourself who had dumped me because of my status which is only an adopted child in the Renaldi family. Don't you remember that?"

Angel was silent with the words Rico.

"You chose to leave before I could love you. You also prefer men who have clearly chosen real wealth, rather than fighting with me. Honestly, I have no regrets at all about your decision. I was grateful that I could meet Alina, who is now my wife, the future mother of my children."

"I reiterate once again with you, never approach me or my family again. Once I see you present yourself in front of me, I will not hesitate to do something with you" Rico said firmly.

"But, Ric, you were begging to stay with me. You must be lying saying you don't love me. I'm sure you still love me right now, don't you? You be honest with me, Ric, if you still love me."

Angel tried to hold Rico's hand, but Rico had already brushed it off.

"I never lie with everything I say."

Angel shook her head.

"No, you must be lying, Ric. I know you must still love me. And your wife…? I'm sure your wife must be just an outlet for your grief because I left, right? I'm sure even now he's nothing but your lustful gratifier"

"Angel!" roc shouted very loudly.

His shout also managed to make everyone who was there surprised instead of playing. Now they really see the other side of Rico as opposed to his true nature.

Rico really got out of control. He could not contain his emotions when his wife was already cruelly insulted like that by a shameless woman like Angel. Maybe since then Rico had been patient with the shameless nature of Angel, but when he heard his wife was insulted vilely, he really could not help it.

Still grateful Rico did not play a hand over Angel's arbitrary attitude. And it is still fortunate that the woman who heard his insults was only herself. It was inconceivable if the Alina family heard it, especially her two possessive brothers.

"What right do you have to insult my wife like that, huh?"

"Co," cried Angel while gulping.

"Once again you say something bad about my wife, I won't hesitate to ruin your life."

"But, Ric–" 

"Stop!" ross shouted for the second time. This time her screams managed to make Angel close her eyes in surprise.

Not yet had time to open his eyes perfectly, suddenly Angel was again surprised by a slap so hard on his left cheek. Everyone including Rico was shocked to see that. 

Likewise with Rico who does not believe if his mother is currently here, hearing the words of Angel to dare to give a kite on the cheek of the woman.

"Mama" exclaimed Rico.

'How dare you say something bad about my daughter-in-law" Santi said in a trembling voice.

Since then Santi's eyes have begun to redden to hold back tears when he heard his daughter-in-law being reviled by the uncivilized woman. His emotions finally came out when his hand managed to float on Angel's cheek. 

"Who are you that dares to insult Alina, huh! How high are you to dare to say that to Renaldi's son-in-law. How are your parents, huh!" santi shouted uncontrollably because she was overcome by emotions.

Rico who could not bear to see his mother screamed so loudly, then kept him away from Angel. Although Santi rebelled by shouting loudly, Rico still hugged him so that his mother could not get out of control more than this.

Ting!

The elevator door behind Angel opened. From there appeared Irfan and his personal assistant. The middle-aged man looked surprised when he saw the excitement down there where his wife was in the arms of his son with a state of chaos.

"Darling, what's going on?" asked Irfan in surprise.

"Rico, what's this commotion?" then ask his son.

He approached his wife and took over to hug her. 

"Darling what is this? Why is Rico hugging Kanu and why are you feeling this way?" ask Irfan in succession.

"He." Sally pointed at Angel. "The woman has dared to insult my daughter. Saying that Alina is just an impingement and is just the gratification of our son's lust. Mama can't accept she said such a bad thing to our daughter-in-law, Pa. Who would dare to say that to Renaldi's son-in-law?" santi shouted back, even tears began to wet her cheeks.

Irfan who heard his wife's screams then stared intently at Angel. 

Angel is now very frightened when faced with three people who own this Rena group. It felt like he wanted to get out of there, but he couldn't because he was currently surrounded. 

"Rico take your mom to the car. Let this be Papa's business" Irfan said in his cold voice without taking his eyes off Angel.

Rico nodded, he took over the mother and immediately took her out. Although Santi insisted on not wanting to leave before his business with Angel was finished, but his husband and son forced it so that Santi would not want to have to go from there.

As far as Rico and Santi, Irfan walked slowly closer to Angel who was currently in cold sweat, his hands clenched and sweaty.

"Are you really insulting my daughter-in-law like that?" ask Irfan. His tone sounded flat and so sharp. Making Angel like being in court in front of the executioners who were holding hot iron to punish him.

"Hey, look and answer my question. Is it true that my wife said earlier, you insulted Alina with such contemptible words?" ask Irfan for the second time.

Slowly and tremblingly, Angel turned her head towards Irfan who had currently shown a look of emotion on his face.

"Master, ma–forgive me. I was just talking. I–"

"Originally talk?" break Irfan quickly. "You're that easy to say insulting words to my son-in-law and now when I ask, you say only the origin of speech?"

"As long as you know what you have said about my son-in-law, I could have imprisoned you for a long time. I can also make your life ruined so badly if you want–"

"No, sir," Angel interrupted quickly. "Don't you not imprison me. Please don't imprison me, sir." 

She was so scared that Irfan would actually imprison her. Really, he did not expect if his intention to approach Rico led to a catastrophe for him. It was quite unexpected, he became very sorry for having come here with the intention of wanting to snatch Rico back to his side. He thought it would be very easy to persuade Rico to come back to him but it turned out that he was wrong. It turned out that the man had never loved her from the beginning either. 

If he knew this would be the end, maybe he would not let go of Rico just like that just because of his status as an adopted child in the Renaldi family. If it ends this way, maybe then he should trust Rico and continue to be loyal to him. At least until Rico really proves his sincerity to what point.

Now he deeply regrets his decision to take Rico for granted and chooses the rich man out there who only wants his body for a moment's pleasure.

"Why? Are you afraid of my threats?" irfan said as Angel remained silent. "You're still lucky to meet me. If only what you're dealing with right now is papa and Alina's two brothers, I can't imagine how you would be in their hands."

Angel gulped his saliva for the umpteenth time. How is this, he can't dwell in front of Irfan. The Renaldi family and the Wilson family make no difference. People who have power like them are very frightening if they have to be fought. Moreover, he is nobody.

Since returning from the office, Santi just stayed in the room. She did not want to go out of the room for fear that Alina would see her emotional self. Fortunately tonight Alina will be staying at her parents' residence, so Santi can act a bit to take her daughter-in-law away after dinner. 

When Alina and Rico were gone, Santi again put on his upset face while looking at the husband.

"What is that woman?" ask Santi. 

Irfan who understood his wife's intention let out a sigh first before replying.

"Just give it a warning."

Hearing if her husband did not act more, Santi looked surprised. He does not accept if someone who has insulted his family members is left without any punishment.

"Why just a warning, Pa? He's insulting Alina, our daughter-in-law. He should have been given the right punishment. At least imprison him for his unguarded words."

It turns out that Santi's emotions still persist until nightfall. Irfan did not expect that his meek wife could be this angry because of the insults someone had done to his son-in-law.

"Patience, Ma, calm down. Don't get carried away by emotions when deciding something."

"But, Pa, he's been so outrageous to our son-in-law."

"Papa knows, Ma," said Irfan quickly. "But we can't just imprison him. Sometimes people make mistakes because of carelessness. As the woman did, perhaps she spoke such words because of the blindness in the love she felt was too deep. One will lose their mind when it comes to love and possessions. We can only give him a warning for now, if he still does the same or more, then we act more."

Santi has not responded to her husband's words. She seemed confused by the words her husband spoke about the blindness of taste, love, and treasure.

"What does Papa mean?"
