45. The Accept Work

The next night, Rico was having dinner with Alina. Because the activity was not as busy as before, finally they had a lot of free time to meet, no longer waiting for Sunday night just to meet.

"Where are you going, baby?" ask Rico to eat them.

"Go home. It's night, Co."

"Good God, that's not what it means. I mean, after college, where are you going? Or do you want to continue with S3?"

Alina chuckles at hearing that. "Udah enough. Just focus on the work" replied Alina.

"You still want to work at a restaurant? Don't you want to find a new job?"

"It's got it."

Rico frowned at Alina's reply. Got it? Why doesn't he know?

"Where, dear? Why don't I know?" ask her in wonder.

"In office. Later you also know for yourself," said Alina with a smile.

"Darling, why are you playing this secret like me?" ask Rico who's still with her stuff.

He became suspicious, why did Alina hide so much from him. Starting from parents who do not want Alina to introduce him, a secret that even Rico himself does not know about what, now Alina also hides her new job from him. This woman is becoming more and more mysterious to him.

Alina again chuckled at hearing that.

"I'm going to work at ZW Corps, Co.," said Alina, who eventually told me where she was going to work.

Instead of being calm because he had managed to find out the location of his girlfriend's work, Rico was actually surprised to hear it.

"ZW corps?" he murmured slowly and was told by Alina.

"How come, honey?" ask Rico who seems to not believe what his girlfriend said.

ZW Corps is an international company to be established in the city. The company belongs to indigenous Indonesians, only their families are settled abroad and will return to the city in the near future. Their first child who will take over completely over the new branch they established here.

The company is not yet operating at all, they are still in the employee selection period since two months ago. According to the information he got, to become an employee in ZW corps was also not as easy as imagined if it did not have high academy value.

Rico clearly looks surprised when Alina says if she accepted to work there, especially when her diploma has not come out. Even the woman had not even graduated one week of college. Very good, he thought. Did Alina always do everything so quickly and quietly like this? To the extent that he thought that the woman had been trying to find a job during her busy time.

"Don't think about it. You should continue to eat it, your food is still a lot," said Alina divert.

"Co, aren't you sure if I can work there?" alina asked interrupted Rico's words.

"It's not so, honey. I'm sure with your ability, you can work in any big company. But I'm just curious, because you're just graduating from college, your grades just haven't come out when applying for a job there, have you?"

"Take it lucky. Already ah do not discuss again, there is a time later we discuss it all. Now we enjoy all this food. Special tonight, I'll treat you okay?" alina said by raising her eyebrows.

Andi who was very curious about the luck of her boyfriend then smiled at the expression of Alina who was very adorable. It was better for her to forget that vague curiosity, after all Alina indeed deserved to work in the best place like ZW corps.

"alright. The agreement of prospective ZW corps employees is yes," Rico said in a teasing tone. Makes Alina laugh to hear it.

They again enjoy their dinner with a small laugh while chatting casually so that the atmosphere is not too boring. After nearly an hour in the restaurant, they decided to go home.

On the way home, Rico just remembered their vacation plans that he had talked to Andi yesterday. He had to immediately talk to Alina and ask when the time was right for them to go on vacation.

"Dear."

"You remember, don't you think Andi ever made us four vacations?" ask Rico.

"Yes, why? What's the plan so?"

"certain. Yesterday me and Andi talked about it."

"When?"

"When are you?"

"Why ask me? The busy ones, right, you should be the ones who decide the time" said Alina.

"Well, aren't you working?" asked Rico in surprise.

"I resigned yesterday and next week I'm not working anymore. I'm sorry I just told you, I just remembered, too," Alina said later with a slight wheeze. 

Before Rico protests because he did not tell about his resignation, it is better to apologize first. And because he apologized and gave his reason, Rico just shook his head. Her boyfriend was completely unexpected, she thought.

"So next week you're not working anymore, are you?" ask Rico to make sure he comes back and is confirmed by Alina.

"Keep, when did you start working at ZW corps?"

"Not yet, but certainly not this month."

"Well, then I'll ask Andi and Rena first. We'll match the schedule first."

"Ready, Boss," Alina said with a happy smile.

Before long the car Rico was driving had arrived at the apartment Alina lived in. Coincidentally, the location of the restaurant they visited was not far from the apartment. Before Alina gets out of the car, Rico delivers her parents' message first to Alina who was pinned to her this afternoon.

"Honey, tomorrow Mama ngajak lunch together at home. Do you have a lot of work tomorrow afternoon?"

It's been a long time since Alina got sick Santi didn't meet her son's girlfriend and now she really misses interacting with Alina.

"Can. I haven't seen your mom in a long time either."

"Jude, now that you go inside, it's night. Tomorrow before lunch I'll pick you up here huh."

Alina nodded her head, after which she immediately got down from the car and waved her hand until the car Rico was driving away. With a fluffy smile, Alina walked inside with the occasional greeting to the attendant there.

Today he is very happy.

Not just today, but ever since she decided to trust Rico completely and accepted the man's marriage invitation, she somehow felt much more relieved. It was as if something he had been waiting for was fulfilled.

I don't know, hopefully this feeling of happiness is not something pseudo.
