What a Beautiful Music

The terminal is very cold today. There is still a lot of dew attached to the leaves. Rudi walked into the terminal by stroking his shoulder to remove the cold air attached to his body.

Erlang is still not coming, Rudi is waiting for him at the bus base with several other bus and kernet drivers.

"Erlang is not here yet?" Ask the bus driver sitting next to him.

They continued the chat and some passengers started to get on the bus. Some passengers also looked cold. They got into the bus by rubbing their palms together.

Rudi looked at the woman who had entered the bus. Undoubtedly, with all-enclosed clothes and a sweet and melodious voice. That woman is Marnie.

Rudi did not immediately approach Marni who was sitting in the back of the bus seat. He continued his work, helping to raise some belongings and continuing to look for passengers.

Rudi looked very agitated as usual, like sleeping on a mattress that was very comfortable but overlaid by a large stone on it. He felt a sense of unease and pleasure coming together.

After he finished his work, Rudi immediately got into the bus and approached Marni.

"Wanna go home?" Rudi immediately asked.

"Why are you asking like that?" Rudi asked back.

Rudi got an answer from Marni's suspicious smile earlier. He realized that he had eaten the bait given by Marni. In addition, Rudi also realized other things about Marni. Rudi felt that the woman was very intelligent and very good at words and feelings.

"There are so many things we can't do to get to meet and chat more often."

Meanwhile, the bus drove over the hot asphalt at full speed. The cold morning was already a hot and sultry afternoon. Inside the bus was felt every sweat began to pour and filled the body part that is most easily sweaty.

Rudi did not answer Marni's last question, instead charging her fare and proceeding to the other passengers. Marni closes back her veil and Rudi walks away from her.

Marni did not say anything else when Rudi was about to leave her. Marni sat in the back seat alone. All the seats in the back were empty. Only Marni is.

Marni looked at Rudi who was charging the fare of each passenger. From the back seat to the front seat. After that Rudi stood in front of the entrance to the front of the bus. The man did not look and did not approach himself anymore.

The bus was going fast without any stop. Second by second, minute by minute until the bus reaches its destination terminal. Marni went down through the back door and Rudi came down from the front door.

Rudi started to drop off some of the passengers' belongings. He did not turn his head in the direction of Marni who started to move away from the bus.

Until arriving at a few steps, Marni turned her head back to look at Rudi. Just then, in a real coincidence, Rudi's eyes also stared at Marni. Their eyes looked at each other. From the crowd of passengers who were getting off the bus, faintly heard beautiful music that entered from Rudi's ears and spread into his heart. The music was so soothing that Rudi was carried away in front of Marni's eyes.

Marni's smile was engraved behind her purple veil. The woman then turned her face away from Rudi and immediately walked away from him.

Rudipun turned his face as well and continued his work. After all the passengers got off the bus, Rudi got into the bus again and Erlang started parking the bus.

"Come coffee" Erlang said after turning off the bus engine.

Rudi nodded and Erlang got off the bus. The two of them then went to their usual place of coffee and rest.
