GREY MARNI

GREY MARNI
Terrible Things Happened To Salsa

The morning had started to brighten, birds chirping and fresh sun greeting from the east of the restlessness. Geliat Rudi woke up early, still at four in the morning. Some residents have begun to wake up and do their own activities. Rudi headed to the front of his room and looked towards the northeast which was still bright yellow, he inhaled deeply in the air there and calmed his mind which had been messed up last night.

Still covered in uneasiness, Rudi decided to tell Erlang that he would take a day off for the next two days. It would be better for him not to meet anyone else for now.

I thought a little about what he should do today. Whether he would look for Salsa or wait for a while like what Laura told him. Rudi saw that the door to Laura's house had not yet opened, a sign that she was still lying on her bed.

"Rud, not work?" Ask her neighbors who work as office employees.

"Ohh, no Mas. I take two days off."

"Ohh, okay I'm leaving first"

"Yes, yeah... Careful"

The man left excitedly. Rudi looked at the man and thought, "It seems so good that your life is!" Rudi does not usually compare his life with others. A thoughtless shallowness had just attacked the insightful and never minded Rudi.

Rudi was still confused as to what he would do later. Looking for Salsa can only go to where he works and ask Salsa's whereabouts to his friends will be in vain.

Rudi went into his room and picked up his cigarette and match. A cigarette with a plume of smoke helped Rudi become calmer. He was about to pick up the guitar and play a little bit of a warm rhythm, yet he felt like he was losing interest in playing guitar.

At 06:30, Laura opened her door and swept the terrace. Rudi did not go straight to him, he waited for Laura to finish her work first. A few hours later, it seems that Laura has finished cleaning up her entire house. It appears he has made a glass of warm milk and relax in the aesthetic chair in front of his house.

Rudi tries to approach Laura to fill the void of her time that is not working.

Laura saw Rudi approaching herself and smiled.

"Non't work?"

"You have a holiday first"

"Here and sit,"

Rudi sat down and lit another cigarette.

"What do you want to drink?"

"No, don't bother Ra. I'm just confused about what to do if I'm not working like this"

"Hahaha, you've sat here first and talked to me"

Laura has not yet conveyed the conclusions she got from the Salsa incident to Rudi. Although he was already completely convinced that Salsa was going through a bad thing.

Rudi also has not started any conversation and just quietly smoked a cigarette and faced west with a sharp gaze but full of unsolved things.

"Oh yes Rud, you said first that you came from a wealthy family, why not try to ask your father for help in finding Salsa?"

"Emmm... It's not what I want, I just want to go home with Salsa with me, I've promised not to have any more contact with my parents for now"

"No, my parents trusted me so much, they always assumed that I would be able to overcome the problem alone"

"Hahaha, between trusting you or indeed they are really the king's parents!"

"Hahaha, you know for yourself how they educated me first"

"You said Salsa met your father at his restaurant, right?"

"Yes"

"You told Salsa that it was your father?"

"Yes, what's wrong?"

"Nobody's afraid Salsa doesn't know yet"

Their conversation is getting awkward. Laura understands that her awkwardness with Rudi is due to the truth she realizes. The more Laura chatted with Rudi, the more awkward their chatter became. Precisely the longer Laura became very depressed with what she was hiding, but she remained strong to hide it first because it would be very bad for Rudi if he knew his opinion for now.

"Ra, what do you think happened to Salsa?" Ask Rudi seriously.

Laura looked at Rudi with a very shocked look on her face. Like Rudi heard what Laura said in her heart.

"Emmm... I don't know if I don't dare say anything I don't know"

"But in your view what makes Salsa so unwilling to see me again?"

Laura is further distressed by Rudi's question which looks like she already knows that Laura is hiding something.

"What do you think is going on with Salsa?" Ask Laura back.

"I had a very bad thought and I didn't dare to say it, even to myself"

"We wait a few more days and wait for information from where Salsa works"

"Maybe that's the best thing for now"

Rudi and Laura continued the conversation by changing to a more fun topic. Laura began to feel relieved by what Rudi had said earlier. It seemed like what Laura was thinking and what Rudi was thinking were the same two things and they both did not want to say it to each other.

It would be better to wait for something to bring about a certainty than to express things based on inconclusive opinions that will make things worse.

Rudi and Laura seemed to be made to forget the essence of their chat. They both dissolve in the happy stories in their lives that they tell each other. Even they do not hesitate to bring each other disgrace.

Will there be another moon tomorrow after the long storm that Rudi is experiencing today. Ignoring prejudice over the bad things that may be happening is very difficult.
