Love Is Pain

Rudi laid his body on the white and clean sand. He looked at the sky and the stars scattered.

After hearing the question given by Andin, Rudi became a little agitated. Andin is still playing with the embers in front of him. He did not look at Rudi, nor did he invite Rudi to speak again. Andin was in a labyrinth with two paths to misery. He was silent and showed a long fatigue.

"Why do you want to fall in love again?" Rusty asked.

"A worn out heart wants a bright lantern."

Andin turned towards Rudi who was lying down. He looked at Rudi with an annoyed face and hit him with the rod he used to play coals. The trunk was still burning with traces of ember fire. Rudi was in pain and stroked her still-hot skin marks.

Andin then threw away the wooden rod he used to hit Rudi far away. Then he went to lay down beside Rudi and took Rudi's dashing hand to be used as a pillow.

The two of them stared at each other at the stars under the black sky. The little candy of the sky seemed to look at them back. Rudi kept quiet and enjoyed the sky and the unique fragrance of Andin perfume.

Andin too so he still held some questions in his heart. Like he was waiting for the right time to say it.

"An, when was the last time you were heartbroken?"

"Yes"

"When we parted with Salsa"

Rudi recounted the heartbreak of his youth to Andin. He tells the story of a woman he has loved since the 1st grade of high school and was only able to have her after the 3rd grade of High School. A woman who became a school flower he managed to get just by inviting him to study together.

Rudi told me how ridiculous those times were. Like Rudi who wants to have eleven children for one football club and some silly dreams of monkey love in general.

Until one day when high school graduation confronts them. Rudi who was taking pictures with his family was suddenly approached by another woman and coincidentally when his lover found himself.

Rudi's lover was angry to see the incident and decided to go to college elsewhere. Rudi found out her boyfriend who wanted to go to college in a different place with her was worried and panicked. He tried to invite her to chat and ask for reasons why she wanted to go to college elsewhere.

Rudi lost that woman just because of a misunderstanding. She was supposed to be in one university and get married when she graduated.

Their plans are so mature and they are also committed to staying together from the beginning.

Andin still listened to Rudi's story until it was finished. He smiled at Rudi's silly story, especially the way Rudi told it like he was being clumsy and misbehaved.

He enjoyed his friendship with Rudi then he hugged Rudi who was staring at the sky and telling stories. Rudi just kept quiet and continued the story until it was finished.

After Rudi's story was finished, Andin sat back down and poured the remaining drinks. One glass for Rudi and one glass for himself. Rudi then sat down and lit a cigarette.

"Aren't you smoking?" Ask Rudi.

"No"

"All right"

"But I want to try"

"Hahaha, no. You'll cough"

"Hahaha come on!"

Rudi then gave a cigarette that he had lit to Andin. Andin tries to smoke the cigarette given by Rudi.

He sucked slowly and not long after that he coughed. Rudi laughed at Andin's behavior and took him a bottle of water to drink.

"Rud, do you know how to smoke fun?"

"How's it?"

"Smuck your cigarettes and keep your eyes closed"

"Keep after that?"

"Let me tell you later."

"All right"

Before doing what Andin asked, Rudi poured the last drink. A glass full of alcohol. They both toast each other and drink.

After that Rudi smoked his cigarette deeply and closed his eyes as what Andin asked.

The two of them had already reached the peak of hallucinatory effects of alcohol. Rudi closed his eyes and did not know what Andin was going to do.

After a while, Rudi felt another breath that was right in front of him. In an instant a soft and wet lip touched her lips.

They are dark in the dim light of a pleasant night. Soft lips Andin fused with smoke coming out from between the touch of their lips.

The two of them stood up, tightly hugging each other. Rudi still closed his eyes. He hugged Andin's hip, Andin just remained silent and kept his lips in front of Rudi's lips.

That night, the two pigeons fused in the silence and silence of his gray night. The blue-blue sky bears witness to their affection.

There was no disturbance in their rose stars. The sound of the waves became music that comforted their mute ears.
