GREY MARNI
Really Bad News

Rudi's feelings of anxiety grew even more so as she tried to sneak inside the crowd of people in clothes similar to Salsa's uniform. Rudi sneaks in and sees some of Salsa's goods being transported using a black pickup motor.

"What's this?" Rudi asked one of the men wearing a uniform like Salsa's.

"The one whose name is Rudi?"

"Yes I'm Rudi, what's going on?"

"Sorry, but we can't tell you"

"Well? Wh why? What happened to Salsa?

"She just left a letter and said not to tell Rudi anything"

"Where is the letter?"

The man called a friend and asked for a letter he said earlier and then gave it to Rudi. Rudi left the crowd and headed for his room.

Rudi opened the letter, read it and then he was confused by the intent of the contents of the letter given by Salsa.

...----------------...

Hi Honey...

Sorry yeah... Suddenly I gave you this letter

We may never see each other again after this

Forget me and erase every memory of you with me

No need to look for me, even if you find me

You won't recognize me

Hehehe sorry yes...

...----------------...

Rudi was confused, very confused. He didn't know what to do, looked for where and asked who. Rudi was silent and pensive for quite a while after reading the letter. Where should he find Salsa who even asked her his friends for free? Rudi moved and came out of his room. She intends to meet Laura but Laura is not at her house.

Rudi thought about visiting Salsa's workplace, but she didn't know where Salsa worked. All he could do for now was follow where the salsa items were transported.

Rudi borrows his neighbor's motorcycle and follows a pickup carrying Salsa's belongings.

The car was driving moderately, Rudi followed it slowly. Get off the highway and enter an alley, then stop at a housing. Rudi stopped quite far from the car and waited for all the items to be taken down.

"Mas, what's that stuff doing?" Rudi asked a young man who passed by in front of him.

"Well, I don't understand. But it's boarding, maybe they just bought furniture for their boarding houses"

"What's wrong there is working in a restaurant?"

"Yes"

"Mas know where they work?"

"Yes I know, they work at one of the restaurants next to the store building in front of there mas." Said the man while showing directions to Rudi.

"Oh, thank you"

The man then left Rudi. Not thinking for long, Rudi immediately went to the place indicated by the man earlier.

Rudi arrived at the place and found that the restaurant where Salsa worked was closed, he tried to ask the people who were around the restaurant. There was no useful information, everyone just said that the restaurant was closing faster than usual. No one knows why the restaurant closed faster. Rudi decided to go home first and calm his mind.

Rudi tried not to think strangely. Rudi took a bath and calmed her mind, she tried to reread the letter Salsa gave her.

"Sa, what's going on? What's the max of your letter?"

Lama Rudi observed the letter, lit up one cigarette and sat quietly glued.

It was getting dark, the wind was blowing hard and the air was getting cold. Rudi lost a bit of his patience, he tried to vent his sense of regret by hitting the wall of his room repeatedly. He still did not want to think about what happened to Salsa.

The roar of the car that sounded like the sound of Laura's car eliminated Rudi's annoyance. Without a second thought, he approached Laura.

"Laura, do you know what happened to Salsa?" Asked Rudi with a slight tremble.

"What's up Rud? I just got home"

"Salsa went Ra, all her belongings were transported and she just left a letter."

"Let's go inside the house" asked Laura who was confused by Rudi's attitude.

They both went into Laura's house. Laura changed her clothes and prepared two drinks for Rudi and then sat down next to Laura.

"Now tell me everything slowly" Laura said.

Rudi told me everything, starting from the time he just came home from work and saw the crowd in front of Salsa's room until he came to work.

"Where is the letter now?"

Rudi handed over a letter from Salsa and waited for Laura to think. Rudi really hopes Laura can help him again.

Laura read the letter and then kept silent for a moment and looked at Rudi with pity. Laura's eyes seemed to say that Rudi this time really had to forget Salsa. Rudi remained silent and waited for Laura to start talking.

"Rud, tomorrow don't look for Salsa just yet. Wait a few days later"

"Huh? Why Ra?"

"I think it would be a waste to look for him again at work tomorrow"

"What should I do Ra?"

"Pacify yourself first, don't think things through. I'll also help you find information about where Salsa works."

"All right Ra"

They continued the conversation, feeling very awkward. Laura seemed to be hiding something she understood from Salsa's letter and what happened to her at work, but Laura did not tell Rudi.

According to Laura, it would be better to wait for Rudi to calm down a little first so that he is not too depressed when he knows the real events. Laura felt very sorry and worried about Rudi's situation this time.

Rudi decided to go back to her room and calm down according to Laura's direction. He sat in front of his room and lit a cigarette. Rudi kept himself calm by smoking cigarettes continuously.

The night wind seemed to ignore the feeling of rudy and continued to blow loudly. The night is getting late and the air is getting colder. Rudi went into his room and tried to put himself in bed and hoped the good news would come to him tomorrow.
