GREY MARNI

GREY MARNI
Money and Time

It has been almost four weeks away from the parents, the house and the facilities. Now Rudi has increasingly enjoyed the new flow of his life. Slowly Rudi got friends who were one frequency with him Pakde Kirun and some of his kernet friends, Salsa and some of his room neighbors who are now getting familiar with him.

That day right on Thursday at one noon, Rudi got the news that there will be a three-day holiday, Pakde Kirun has scheduled his vacation, he said, he will be on vacation with his entire family and the driver who is currently known as Rudi as Pak Darto is also going to return to his hometown. Everyone has decided what to do and where while Rudi is still confused about what to do on his holiday which only comes once a month.

"Are you not going home Rud? Three days off"

"It doesn't seem like sir"

"Why?"

"Males otw"

"Hahaha, you know who it is, Lasa, Sasa or who it is forget me"

"Salvana?"

"Yes Salsa! Three days later, Monday came in again. He could be most Saturday of the week"

"Ahahaha, where are you going, pakde, belom payjian"

"Lohh, later payday lohh... don't know you?"

"Don't understand pakde, but really a payday?"

"Come on, it's been almost a month now that we've been working, right?"

"Yes too" in a second Rudi's face turned more cheerful, he did not know if he would pay today.

Rudi already got what he was going to do tomorrow on holiday. He wants to ask Salsa for another date. Rudi is very impatient to wait for his working time which is less than a few hours until the last trip of the bus to the original terminal. Rudi became more eager to find passengers, pacing and offering some people were passing by looking for their destination bus.

Rudi's heart was blooming with flowers, after this was his first payday here, he knew very well his salary would not be more than his salary when he took care of his father's company but this was a new sweat for him, heavier yet more fun than just sitting and relaxing in front of a computer screen and counting endless numbers.

The songs that the bus busses bring add to the fun in Rudi's heart, eroding the pay and time gap he has been through for almost a month.

Time passed quickly, Rudi was already at the terminal. De Kirun took him to the office to pick up a salary wrapped in a white envelope. It seems that some people also come to the office with faces full of smiles and joy. Every now and then they peeked at the contents of the envelope and saw how much they received, but not with Rudi who was not so concerned with his salary. After receiving the envelope, Rudi bade De Run farewell and quickly went home.

Upon reaching her room, Rudi opened the contents of the envelope and saw some red and blue banknotes. Rudi calculated it slowly, there was One Million Seven Hundred Thousand. Quite a lot if combined with the allowance of pocket money he got every day. As usual Rudi will separate his money with his money into 50/30/20, but according to Rudi his needs every day can be fulfilled with his daily ration so he sets aside 50% just in case if one day there is a thing that requires a lot of money and the other half he uses to provide his pleasure such as going with Salsa. Maybe today he'll buy some food for Salsa.

After Rudi cleaned up the money and cleaned his body, Rudi stood in front of his bedroom door waiting for Salsa who had not yet returned home.

"Rudi.." The voice was not Salsa's, Rudi searched around for the origin of the voice and found that Kos was waving his hand like telling Rudi to come to him.

Rudi immediately went down and approached Mbak Kos that.

"What's wrong, mbak?"

"There's nothing, Come on in first" negligee dressings and hair pinned, Miss Kos is really similar to the auntie-ante kosan televised.

"Rud, are you busy this weekend?" Ms. Kos immediately asked a suspicious question to Rudi.

"Emm, tomorrow I have three days off, what's up?"

"Emm," Miss Kos seemed to be confused, from her face thinking of something to say.

"What did you help me with?"

"Bak want you to catch up tomorrow night"

"Nemenin to?"

"To the show mbak friends, not long and not strange"

"Emmm, that's when I thought about it first"

"Usahain loo, Shame if you come alone"

"Where is Husband?"

"Widow's mother, my husband left because he was less sexy"

"Less sexy?" Rudi frowned and stared at every curve of Kos's body.

"Don't look around, I'm embarrassed" said Mbak Kos by crossing his legs and unraveling his straight, pitch-black hair

"Sexy boy loo"

"Hehehe, so shame Ruudd"

"Truly mbak"

"It used to be not gini lohh, it used to be very fat"

"Ohhh, Kasian is your ex-husband, hahaha"

"Ahahaha, justin let me know the taste. I'll tell you tomorrow if I can. You can look around here, it looks like only you are suitable, Si Joni Still small, Si Jono old widower, dizzy Mbak want ngajak who"

"Okay ma'am, tomorrow I'll tell you".

Rudi went to leave Kos and he climbed the stairs, Salsa was waiting in front of his room and brought some food. Rudi who saw that was also bells like he had to undo his intention to buy Salsa food.

"Eat-eat.., pay off I'm Rud"

"Ahahaha Same dong! I was actually waiting for you and wanted to buy food, uh suddenly called Mbak Kos"

"Cieee-title..!!" salsa taunted with a manyun mouth forward.

Rudi told Salsa everything, including his plan to take Salsa for a walk. Salsa understands Rudi is confused between whether he should ignore Kos and go with Salsa or vice versa.

"Three days off, you go first, we're out on Sunday night"

Seeing Salsa's response, Rudi was very pleased. Salsa did not show a cold attitude or uncomfortable with what Rudi said. Rudi also promised not to be strange. I don't know how weird as what Rudi meant. Rudi enjoys food bought Salsa, fried chicken and lalapan sambal can always spoil the mouth especially with iced tea wrapped in a clear plastic container without a straw. The warmth that only Rudi got when he was with Salsa. No worries about sales going up or down, no meetings no serious discussions, all simple and full of warmth.

The life Rudi hated as a child, a simplicity that used to make Rudi often angry because it was never bought by his family who are still lacking is now the good karma he craved. Money that he once thought could buy anything kin into a medium of exchange as long as it could eat. Time is more profitable with pleasure every second.

Rudi hoped that all this would go on longer, Rudi stared at Salsa who was greedily chewing food with enough sparkle. "Ahhhh happyaaaaaa" That's what Rudi said in his heart.
