What's with Mr Shivan's smile?

New Park Hotel Ankara Turkey

I feel like my break time is not enough. After performing the Fajr prayer around 06:14 I went back to sleep to restore energy. Fajr prayer time in Turkey is longer than in Indonesia. I remember something from a book I read a while ago, called why we sleep. There it is said, if napping can not replace the lack of sleep at night. No matter how much nap time we do will not be able to replace the less night sleep. And cognitively, adequate sleep can also improve the performance of our brains. Our brains are becoming more creative and our memory is increasing. There are two phases that occur when we sleep, REM (Rapid Eye Movement) and NREM (Non Rapid Eye Movement).

And sure enough, my body still feels tired and sore. I slept for 6 hours after the dawn prayer. And this afternoon there was a horse race. I forced to open my eyes, let alone my phone since it rang enough to interfere with my sleep. My brain still has a hard time digesting even if it's just reading who's calling.

Mr Shivan? What happened to that guy until he called me? "Hello assalamualaikum, is there sir?" ask me for the first time when a voice call is taking place. My voice still sounded hoarse like a new person sleeping.

"You're still asleep? I was in Turkey. Located in New Park Hotel. What hotel are you staying at?" ask Mr. Shivan at length. How this guy was already in Turkey. It's not that Miss Ria will be with me while I'm in Turkey, why is it that suddenly that guy who's here?

"Alisha Hello?" ask Mr. Shivan across the street to make sure I still hear his phone calls. Because I was quiet for a long time.

"Yes sir, we're in the same hotel. Then I turn off the phone first, because I have to clean myself and pray Dzuhur." I said turn off the phone call. This attitude of mine seems disrespectful. I'll apologize to him later.

After that I immediately rushed to take a shower. It only takes a moment. I saw that the clock was already showing the number 13.00. I immediately took the face and performed the Dzuhur prayer. The comparison of Dzuhur prayer time in Indonesia and Turkey is about 1 hour. If the time of Dzuhur in Indonesia at 11.44 WIB, the case with Turkey is different. Indonesia is like the future. Always be at the beginning.

When I finished praying, I immediately put on my boots and came out in a race uniform, black blazer and white pants. I don't wear white jeans, because I only carry one, and unfortunately yesterday I was wearing it.  Actually I could have put it back on, but it also happened that someone accidentally spilled a cup of coffee in my pants while still on the plane.

I was really surprised when I opened the door of the hotel room that was occupied, Mr. Shivan was standing right at the door. Like cesper, come uninvited. I held my chest in surprise. I also reflect on Istighfar. The man just acted as if he had done nothing wrong.

"Alisha, let's go now! The rental car's waiting for us downstairs." He said, I nodded slowly without saying anything. Azura said, this man is as cold as Antarctica, but I don't care when it comes to being this cold. After all, his attitude was cold, so if I behave like that there is no need to feel threatened, right? Yes even though he's my lecturer.

Once the door is successfully locked by using RFID hotel key card/card lock. After that I walked next to Mr. Shivan. I am not like water, which is very difficult to balance anyone who is beside me. We walked to the elevator. Silence, no talk whatsoever. Yes how else, I am not a friendly and friendly person, while Mr. Shivan also has the same character as me. So if we had more relationships it wouldn't last long either. I prefer friends or couples who are extroverted and easy to melt the atmosphere, rather than with someone who is cold like the temperature of Antarctica.

"Alisha, are you ready?" tanyakanya.

"God willing," I replied. I'm pretty sure that Mr. Shivan's physical calm is not what he thinks. I'm sure he's just as awkward as me. Unfortunately also he was not so easy to melt the atmosphere. Elevator door opens. We headed straight out of the hotel and boarded the car Mr. Shivan had booked. The strange fact I just learned from Azura is Mr. Shivan Extrovert.

Can't be trusted. Yes, but the fact is there are some people who are extroverted but sensitive to introverts.

Mr. Shivan sits next to the driver's seat. "I'm not in front Papa is it Alisha?" I asked him when we got into the rental car.

"Yes, papa." My answer. Cars sped through Ankara, heading for the race area. I really enjoyed Ankara in Turkey. Many old buildings are historical relics. An interesting fact that is not widely known is, Ankara is the capital of Turkey. All this time I rarely found out about Turkey. Actually, maybe I'm the only one who just found out that Ankara is the capital of Turkey. Because I only know Turkey is only the city of Istanbul. Yes not much different from outsiders who mostly know about Bali. But not so much about Indonesia. Bali is part of Indonesia.

Turkey is one of the favorite tourist destinations for tourists all over the world. The country that is the boundary between the Continent of Europe and the Continent of Asia has interesting tourist attractions to visit such as Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Great Mosque of Sulaimaniah, and many more. Ankara is one of the largest cities and holds the status as the Capital of Turkey.

In addition to being a male driver who sits as a driver is also a guide. So we have increased our knowledge about Turkey.

"What is interesting about the city of Ankara compared to other cities in Turkey?" ask the driver to solve all the questions in my head. I always use an American accent when speaking English, sometimes I also forget when using Indoemsian accent I am still American.

And to interfere in the lives of others is not my fashion. I'm very uninterested in finding out the personal affairs of other people's lives.  But very inversely proportional to an understanding, I was very enthusiastic to ask. There are many interesting facts about Ankara.

"Ankara, formerly known as Angora, city, capital of Turkey, located in the northwestern part of the country. It lies about 125 miles (200 km) south of the Black Sea, near the confluence of the Hatip, Ice Su, and Tubek streams. Pop."

"Ankara is the second largest city in Turkey after Istanbul. The city has a population of around 5.6 million people."

"The city was first known as Angora. Only in 1930, the city changed its name to Ankara."

"In 1354, the city was captured by Sultan Orhan Ghazi of the Ottoman dynasty. Ankara officially became part of the Ottoman empire in 1360."

"Kocatepe Mosque is the largest mosque in the city of Ankara. This mosque was built in 1967 and opened in 1987. Wonderland Eurasia is a favorite amusement park in Ankara which is one of the amusement parks with the most roller coasters in the world." Clearly very detailed. I nodded straight. After that Mr. Shivan also asked a lot about Turkey. A few minutes later the car stopped at the area we were heading to. The three of us went down.

Horseback Archery Exhibition, Ankara - Turkey. I forgot exactly what area. The point is in this area I will compete against 130 participants from various countries. I've been wearing a black blazer and white pants, as well as a helmet and other riding safety. The ECL competition features several categories in equestrian such as Show Jumping (riding agility jumping over obstacles), Dressage (a good blend of aesthetics and horse handling) and Eventing (a series of dressages, etc, show jumping and cross country).

My hands are sweating cold. This guy next to me really isn't like the usual Mr. Shivan. He's completely different. If class looks like most salt, here it's like most sugar. He is also friendly and talkative. And unfortunately I'm not like an adaptable chameleon.

"Alisha, are you ready?" ask Mr. Shivan. I don't know how many times the man asked that.

"God willing,"

"I'm sure you can win this race." Said. I nodded by confirming his prayer. All participants ride their horses first to warm up. I hope the horse I ride is harmless. So far I've gotten a good, tame share of horses. But there were also those whose horses had suddenly gone wild.

The match began, after spending about fifteen minutes. Starting from Brunei Darussalam and followed by other countries that have been registered as participants. I got turn number 7 Some of the participants had a pretty terrible incident. The first to fourth participants survived until jumping at the tenth hurdle.  When the fifth advanced participant was in the second jump, the horse that the participant was riding suddenly dropped the participant until it fell bouncing on the obstacle wood. After that, I was more worried if something happened to me. Paramedics swiftly took the fallen participant to a special red cross tent, to be dealt with immediately.

Many times I said basmalah and asked Allah that everything would be smooth not to experience incidents like the fourth and fifth participants.

"Alisha Adnan, Endonezia." Said an MC. I advance with a beating heart. Between sure and not very thin difference. I rode the horse very carefully. I don't think anything's going on in the future. I convinced myself everything was fine. I try to focus while saying shalawat.

The first obstacle I managed, the sound of the knocking of the horseshoes and the sound of horses was heard in this area of the race. The second, and third hurdle I got through well. But when the fifth jump the horse almost misses not willing to jump. In the end I managed to control the horse well. I tried to finish quickly and get the fastest score. And sure enough I got 4:50. And I managed to get through to the next stage.

Until finally to the final round beat hundreds of participants. I was very careful to pass through more difficult obstacles than the first and second. I controlled the horse pretty quickly until finally when the hurdle jump to seven horses actually went wild, it was fortunate that it did not go out the path of the specified line.

And the eighth jump I had already half fallen to float, while the horse was still running fast, I almost fell to the ground if I was not strong enough to hold my own body. With all my might I managed to justify my body position to sitting. I managed well to control this horse well by crossing the obstacles. Everyone applauded. I don't know if this match is broadcast by the news of each country. Everyone applauded.

MC announced who the winner was. I managed to get the best score from all participants. I smiled with gratitude as I said hamdalah. I advanced to climb the ladder of first-champion victory. The second place was won by participants from Turkey and the third was won by Saudi Arabia. Several media outlets covered my victory and these two men. I'm approaching Mr. Shivan. Just this first time I saw Mr. Shivan smiling widely. But I won, why is he happy. Then several foreign media covered and interviewed for my victory.

"Congratulations Alisha, I am so proud of you." Said. I yelled kaish at his words.

I feel very grateful, because the preparation for the last two months or so I focused on preparing myself to learn to ride in my flagship horse club since High School finally came to fruition. I'm so glad I finally got on par with Alesha. I'm going to show you this trophy, that I can be like Alesha. I really hope a lot if later I go home, Mama and Papa appreciate me and can consider me there as their daughter.
