Chap 21 - Two Deer

Teressa decides to pick up Rakt. Arriving at the hill, he saw a lot of blood spots that imprint on the grass and weeds. Teressa followed a patch of blood that seemed to point somewhere. He saw blood spots attached to a large and tall spruce tree. Below him lay the body of a man of which it was Rakt.

Teressa screams in surprise. He immediately looked down and tried to wake Rakt up. "Ract?! Awake up!"

But Rakt did not budge at all. He fainted with blood flowing like a rushing river at his temple. His body lay helplessly, almost his entire blood vessels turning dark green. Teressa uses the Light Palms magic to heal Rakt's temple.

"Wake up, Rakt!" Teressa stroked Rakt's temple, the girl panicked. Teressa wanted to bring Rakt home, but she couldn't carry him. And the magic can do almost nothing. The wounds suffered by Rakt were still open, fresh blood was still flowing from the wound.

Teressa cried, closed her eyes, stuck her head in Rakt's stomach. And Rakt's eyes suddenly opened, slowly and visibly his eyeballs were still reddened. His pupils formed the letter x, but he had full consciousness. Her body was still so weak and Teressa had not noticed it yet. "T-Teressa?"

Hearing that voice, Teressa got up. He was shocked and shouted, "Rakt?!" Then as quickly as lightning hugged the man.

Rakt smiled, but his smile slowly faded. He had realized what he had done to Teressa. Immediately regret and cry, "I'm sorry, Teressa. You're hurt because of me" she said, then sobbed.

Teressa got up again, she smiled and shook her head, not feeling any tears in her eyes. Teressa wiped her tears, then stood up. "Rakt, can you stand up?" tanyakanya.

Rakt said, "Yes, I can. "

Then Teressa reached out her hand and helped Rakt stand up, while the man almost lost his balance when he managed to stand up straight. And when trying to walk, Rakt almost fell again, Teressa helped him walk while the man was limping.

"You sure you want to keep going like this?" Teressa. "Looks like you can barely even stand up." His face was gloomy, trying to convince Rakt not to push himself too much.

But Rakt insisted on walking. The question was answered with a warm smile full of confidence. "After this, I want to tell you about something" he said.

"What's that?" Teressa curious.

But Rakt refuses to tell her now. He shook his head quickly and gave Teressa another smile. While the girl was a little upset while puffing her cheeks.

"Haha, are you upset?"

"As far as you go, hmmph." Teressa turned her face away and her eyes were lazy to look at Rakt. Yet occasionally glanced at the man with great sympathy. Teressa knew that not everyone was born with a curse, and that the curse itself was not pleasant. Pleasant? Far from that word, precisely the curse is a misfortune that may be experienced for the rest of one's life.

After a while leading Rakt walking, Teressa's mouth opened slowly, her eyes still reluctant to stare at Rakt– more towards the grass through which she passed. "Ract," Teressa called. "I know ... The difficulty ... Y-you're through." His words stammered, Teressa was afraid that it would offend the man beside her.

Rakt pursed his lips, giving a faint smile that was hardly a smile. "You heard it, huh?" saith. His eyes were glazed over, "It is rare that I get such an expression. I even thought ... Only my parents ever seem to say anything like that. And my sister ... " Suddenly the sentence stopped.

Teressa was curious about the continuation. "Is he like everyone else? Does she care about you?" Quickly his eyeballs spun and locked onto Rakt's eyes.

"No!" answer Rakt. "Either ... He is the one who cares about me the most. Last time, one night when I was fast asleep, he tried something - I thought it was a pretty massive magic formation, he was trying to get rid of the curse that was inside me. I woke up that night, and when Lug realized it, she just went out and slept in her room-in my house."

As Teressa was stunned to hear it, her footsteps came to a halt. His eyes were locked on Rakt's face.

"You don't believe me, do you?" chirps Rakt. "Yes, he is a genius in this village. Maybe you've never heard of my brother mastering all sorts of three-circle magic."

Teressa shook her head again very quickly and blinked her eyes repeatedly. "No, no," he said. "Lug once showed it in front of me."

Rakt gave an amazed expression to Teressa. "You may be a special person, yes, you may be special" he said.

Teressa was surprised, "You kidding me? Whatchu mean? He's annoying, I've even told him this, I don't like him. Yes, at first he did help me, but somehow something made me feel like I was constantly in the abyss of fear. I even thought he was a monster, how not? The big bear just suddenly fell down when Lug looked at him, what kind of magic is that?" his weakness. And now, Teressa had just realized who she was talking to. When he looked into Rakt's eyes, Teressa looked down unpleasantly. "Ah, sorry. Lug's your sister, I'm too carried away by emotions. Well, you should understand ... Again, I'm sorry."

Instead of being angry, Rakt actually likes to listen to Teressa's curses. That was because only this time there was a girl who told Rakt the true contents of his heart. "Why should I apologize? He was like that, kind of cold to other people" he said.

Teressa smiled slowly, the longer it got wider. But his smile was sweet, it proved that he still felt that his words were too harsh. "So you forgive me?"

"What is there to forgive?" Rakt put on a face full of joy and pleasure. "You're not wrong, that's how Lug is. You have to understand her, I'm sure you can get close to her, Teressa." His smile had not faded, yet it looked even warmer with each passing second.

Teressa suddenly laughed, not feeling her tears coming back. And followed by Rakt who was happy to see the girl laughing because of it. Oh, I think every time I get close to a girl like this, inner Rakt. When his laughter stopped, he let out a long sigh–full of unbearable feelings. Yeah, I'm not sure Teressa's gonna be with me in the future either. There are still a lot of guys out there who are better than me. Rakt continued to mutter in his heart, continuing to feel that he was inappropriate for a woman who managed to steal his heart.

When passing two trees side by side, Rakt glanced towards something between the two trees. "Okay," he murmured. "I forgot I brought the two deer."

Teressa turned to the place that Rakt meant. He also saw two deer corpses lying among the weeds. Then the look in his eyes lowered, his lips docked. His face looked so solemn, as if his mind was thinking about thousands of things at a time. Moments later, her eyeballs were fixed on Rakt, "Just leave" Teressa said. "I'll come back later, but I can't leave you here alone."

Teressa's words touched Rakt, he briefly pensively and shook his head quickly. "How about this," Rak suggested. "You don't care about me, I can still walk on my own - trust me!" He tried to convince Teressa, but the girl still felt uneasy.

With much hesitation, Teressa said, "Alright, go ahead. Don't fall while I'm carrying the two deer." The girl also recalled that she always carried a slap strap along almost two regrites and it exceeded the thumb of an adult man in her trouser pocket. Then Teresssa released her hand from Rakt's body slowly. He continued to raise his hand, just in case Rakt suddenly fell down. And sure enough, Rakt lost his balance and almost fell. Fortunately, Teressa was quick to catch him. "Said what?" reproofing. "Just stand you almost down, I won't let you walk alone!"

Rakt was almost speechless. He was angry at himself for being helpless. Rakt even almost said that he was no longer a man, just standing still helped by a girl, what the fuck am I?!

"We'll take the deer next time" Teressa said. "Toh I can also hunt ... Maybe." The latter only whispered, but Rakt heard it clearly. It was just that the man could not say anything more, he remained silent and listened to what Teressa had to say.

And then, out of nowhere came but suddenly the power appeared in Rakt's hand. Both hands are not numb, even feels like healthy course– although it still hurts in the injured part. Lanta Rakt turned to Teressa quickly, "Teressa, give me the rope, please," she asked with a glass.

Teressa did not believe it a little, she wondered, what is that rope for? His face still seemed to doubt Rakt. "Don't tell me you're gonna pull those two deer?" tanyanya. Rakt quickly nodded, his face looking like a child being offered candy. But unfortunately Teressa refused, "You pulled the two deer," he said. "While I'm walking you, don't you think it's gonna be as heavy as this skinny girl to me?"

Rakt's eyes widened, he realized Teressa's words had a point. "I'm sorry, "he said regretfully. His tone was so low that his voice was barely audible. "You're right. Yeah, maybe I'm too stupid to think about such trivial things. Do I look like an idiot?"

Teressa shakes. He knows what Rakt is saying. "It's okay. You just want to try, it looks a lot better than you used a girl like me" she said. "Yes, like suddenly groping my body or something."

Rakt is a little offended by this. He threw a questioning look at Teressa. How not, Rakt was a man, and obviously what Teressa said was indeed really intended to satiate men. "Teressa, I'm not that kind of person" Rakt admitted. "Don't try to feel it, I barely even dare to look you in the eye ... Em, I mean a girl directly."

Teressa chuckled, "Haha, you're really offended, huh? Sorry," he said.

But it makes Rakt re-excite his smile. Rakt is not joking, not making jokes, or other funny things, but a girl who embraces him, walks him, laughs at him. That was obviously happy enough. The reason is that there was never a girl who smiled when she saw it, most immediately put on a face of fear and lethargy when she saw it. Then talk about it behind her– is pathetic.

And Teressa suddenly realized Rakt– saying a few words. Does Rakt like me? He shook his head quickly. Nope, no! Maybe she meant the girl she had met.

Rakt realizes Teressa's strange behavior. "You why?" tanyakanya.

Soon Teressa turned to Rakt with a dead red face. "Ah, no no no," she looked panicked. "I ... You know, this kind of position makes me kind of hot-yes, you know, it's kind of crowded."

Then Rakt returned moody, and he quickly changed his expression again. He knew that his gloomy face would raise a lot of questions for Teressa. Rakt doesn't want the girl interrogating him.

They walked up to the bush that Teresssa had previously used to hide. Rakt suddenly thought of resting first. "What if we're here first? My right leg was tired, especially my two feet were bleeding from scratch before" he asked.

Teressa turned to him again, she smiled faintly with a warm look. "All right." Then sit slowly propped up by Teressa.

"Thank you" said Rakt. After that, Teressa stood up again. "Where are you going?"

"I'll go back and get the two deer."

"Aren't you going to rest?"

"I'm tired, but what else? The two deer earlier-than not taken?"

"It's true, but rest first."

Teressa shook her head with a smile on her tired-looking lips, as if they were about to come off her inverted triangle-shaped face. The look in her eyes was exhausted, but Teressa insisted on carrying the two deer. "I'll be right back, '" he said. Then the girl left Rakt.

From behind Rakt yelled, "JUST HANG OUT! NO RUSH, IF YOU NEED TO REST THERE!!!"

Teressa turned her head, she clearly heard the cry of Rakt. Teressa smiled until she almost laughed, revealing her shiny white teeth. Then back turned around and as if the cry of Rakt was removing half the fatigue he felt–his steps became a little faster.

And fifteen minutes later Teressa had returned carrying two deer that had been killed by Rakt. He dragged her to the place where Rakt was resting. And there, the man was trying to stand up. His forehead folded until his eyebrows almost connected with each other, his eyes look very serious and grinning, his body bent bent bent hunchback– tried to balance the body, his legs vibrated violently, his body was very tight, and the sweat on his temple pours out like a river. His efforts were clearly seen by Teressa, the girl was amazed by Rakt's determination. Teressa took off her slap rope and tried to sneak in to take a closer look. However Rakt noticed Teressa's scent, he reflexively turned his head and was surprised at that very instant. Rakt fell, his butt hit the ground very hard.

"Ohduhduh!" Rakt is in pain.

Instantly Teressa unbundled her intention to sneak it up. Initially, the steps were sagging, now he galloped quickly to help Rakt. "Ract! You okay?" tanyanya.

"Yes, I'm fine" Rakt replied with a grin of pain. "The good thing is, the bones in my ass almost all crumbled."

Now Teressa's confused. He looked to his right and left, hoping that someone would pass by and help him. But baby, like the old man he met earlier was the only person to go to this forest other than Teressa and Rakt.

"I'm sorry, I just slipped up and made you startle. I thought I wanted to see you from under the bushes, but you've noticed me" Teressa said.

Rakt smiled thinly while enduring the pain, his eyes slightly teary. "I can ... Smell your body, "he said.

"Wait a minute, what?!" Teressa is shocked, but quickly realizes that saving Rakt is more important. "Ah I'm sorry. I might understand what she said just now, I hope you can explain later," Teressa said as she grabbed Rakt's right hand and put her hand around Teressa's neck. The girl raised her up and walked back slowly.

"I'm sorry, I'm troubling you" said Rakt. His gaze was so low, spiritless and full of regret.

"It's okay, I don't mind at all" Teressa said with a warm smile. Rakt didn't see it, he seemed embarrassed by his condition. And the previous two deer were left behind again just like before.
