Vol II Chap 44 - Lich (2)

Nagisa and Raini could hardly believe seeing a creature in the demon nation that killed fellow demons– despite being different races. But still, it looked like a brutal murder of a fellow, because the one who did it was just a creature, and the ones he killed numbered in the hundreds.

"The magic is terrible," explained Lug as she stared at the lich intently and vigilantly. "Don't let him touch your body directly, or if not ... Your soul could have been marked by it and you could have been its slave as an undead like them."

The man also picked up his versatile wallet which had fallen below, then picked up the black sword he was carrying before leaving. He threw it at Raini.

"Do you guys know? I sensed the mana in the big explosion," said another Ranker, her voice was a woman. His silhouette showed him having waist-length hair, three triangular stripe-shaped objects rotating behind his back, and his eyes were emitting white.

"What's? A human? Is it possible that he is the Blind Swordsman?" ask the other Rankers with a male voice. His body was the largest among the others, in his silhouette showing his slightly long hair and combed upwards. His eyes emitted a purple glow, and there was a scratch wound that cut through his shining left eye.

"No," replied the female Ranker earlier. "They are more than one."

"So that's it" said the man whose eyes were emitting two rays of light earlier.

When the explosion disappeared, Raini's black dome disappeared. Everyone in it was fine because of the magic.

Lug felt that everything had not been finished just like that, his eyes still vigilantly glanced towards the right, left, top, bottom quickly. "The lich is still alive, it looks like he wasn't hit by that big explosion either" he said.

Raini nodded. Now his sword was floating behind his head.

Sure enough, the vampires flying overhead began to swirl like tornadoes. They revolved right above Lug and the others. And there's something in the middle of that swirling vampire, she's a lich.

The lich lifted up her magic wand, then her jewel ball lit up very brightly. And his vampires began to form a cone formation that would destroy the ground.

After which, Lug raised his right hand, saying his palm towards the vampire flock that was about to hit him. And suddenly there was a huge circle of fire that started to conical. The fire cone was really very large and covered Lug and the others inside the fire cone.

Not only did Lich just stand still, she started using wind magic again to form a giant whirlwind wind that enveloped the entire vampire herd. Knowing that the wind can increase the fire, he made the wind into a very cold wind and even almost froze some vampires.

Quickly, Nagisa instantly caught Lug in her hand.
