Cousin That Sucks

The shopping mall that Adam visited was quite crowded right now. Maybe because it was currently the same as lunch hour so that quite a number of people came. Not only that, Adam also heard there are artists who do meet fans in this place.

However, Adam's arrival to the shopping center is not to see the artist. He came here to shop for some goods, to be sold back to Banua Guerio. The man walked through the shopping mall. The first destination is a watch shop on the second floor of this shopping center.

When they got there, some people were seen there. Then, Adam's eyes caught the presence of someone he knew among the people who shopped at the store. This made Adam undo his intention to enter this store right now.

The man could visit another store to buy some other items. Adam doesn't like to make trouble. If he could avoid it, Adam would avoid it as much as possible. Adam also did not want to ruin his pleasure today.

However, when Adam just turned his body, the person he knew was already seeing his existence. The man Adam knew called Adam's name and confronted him. Making Adam have no other choice but to face this person in front of him.

"Wow, wow, wow, Adam. Why did you go when I called your name? Are you deaf? Apparently staying a few days in that dilapidated house can make you deaf like this" said the man quite loudly.

Some people around them turned their heads. It seemed like they were interested in wanting to hear what commotion was going to happen here. Some people stop and pretend to play their cell phone. Some choose to talk to their friends.

However, there were also people who openly saw what this man would do to Adam. The way these men treated Adam was quite rude, made them know that there would be a commotion going on here.

"What's up Brian? I have nothing to do with you. Get out of the way and let me go!" exclaim Adam.

The man in front of Adam is one of his cousins, Adam. Just like his other cousins, Brian loved to mock Adam. Several times the man even vilified Adam in front of his other friends.

Adam tries to evade Brian by taking the empty space next to Brian. However, this one cousin of Adam did not give him the slightest chance. Every time Adam moves, Brian moves to keep Adam out. In fact, when Adam turned his body, intending to turn the direction, Brian with a fist ran back against Adam.

"Hey, don't go first. Our business is not done yet" said Brian who showed a grin on his face. That guy really likes to play Adam like this.

"I told you I have no business with you. Let me go, Brian."

"You were going to enter the watch shop, weren't you?" ask Brian without caring about the protest Adam uttered.

"Poor men like you, dare to enter the store this hour. I'm pretty sure you don't have any money, just buy the cheapest watch here" Brian sneered.

Brian looked at Adam from top to bottom. Although Adam had removed the makeup on his face, but he had not changed the clothes he had previously worn when selling gold. This shirt looks very ordinary and shabby. Adam bought this shirt from a second-hand clothing store in the city.

"Look at your clothes, I'm sure you're wearing twelve, aren't you? Your clothes are so shabby. Not able to buy clothes just sokan wear want to buy a watch. Or, do you have the money to buy a watch here? This makes me think, dapet where did you make money to buy a watch here?" brian said as he squinted his eyes.

"Don't you steal my grandfather's inheritance, huh? It's only fair that there's money lost when grandfather's lawyer shares his legacy" Brian said, prompting some to whisper, talking about Adam.

They seemed to believe just like Brian who accused him of stealing. In fact, they don't know exactly what happened. But they just drew conclusions.

"I didn't steal at all. I just want to look around the clock here. And, don't accuse me without such evidence. You speak as if grandfather is not my brother, and only your grandfather. I'm also his granddaughter!" exclaim Adam.

Adam's words made some people realize that they drew the wrong conclusion. However, not everyone is aware of this. There are still people who just believe Brian's words.

Some people recognize Brian as the son of a successful businessman in this city. They hope that by supporting Brian, they can get closer to the man. Maybe they can take advantage of this incident to get a job at Brian's family company.

For Adam himself, they had never seen this man at all. Not everyone believes that Adam has the same grandfather as Brian. If they had the same grandfather, Adam's appearance wouldn't be like this. At least he would dress more appropriately, not shabby like that.

"Sorry, Mas. We don't accept them in this store. Although Mas just look around, we will not accept Mas's arrival here" said one of the shopkeepers, who listened to the conversation between Adam and Brian from the beginning.

After saying so, the shopkeeper immediately looked towards Brian, and gave a small nod. He said he would support Brian. Even so, they expelled Adam once.

A grin was clearly plastered on Brian's face hearing the words of this shopkeeper. He had not expected anyone to support him in bullying Adam.

Adam stared intently at the shopkeeper who blatantly rejected his presence. In fact, Adam already intends to buy several watches in this store later. However, the attitude of this shopkeeper made him think differently. Adam would never buy a watch in this store, as the waiter of this store wanted.

In the future, the waiter of this store will be very sorry for having said such a harsh word to Adam. That would make him lose his current job. But that is a story in the future.

"I don't intend to buy anything here either. Now get out of the way before I do anything to you. Don't think I'll just shut up if you keep bothering me. I also have a limit of patience" said Adam quite seriously.

Adam's very serious eyes frightened Brian a little. His cousin has excellent martial skills. If Adam is serious and fighting it now, then Brian could end up in the hospital. Brian had experienced that before. It still brings trauma to him.

Brian no longer stopped Adam when he left. However, there was still a sense of joy in Brian's heart. At least the people around here already have a negative view of Adam.

The more one looked at Adam with a bad view, the less likely it was that Adam would get a decent-paying job. If that happens, then Adam will always be under him. Moreover, now there was no longer his grandfather who could help like before.
