Defeating The Thugs

The thugs began to slap the knives in their hands simultaneously. This made Adam need to estimate the direction of the knives in order to avoid them. Adam immediately grabbed Mamat's hand, as the man's knife was quite close to his body.

With one powerful pull, Adam made Mamat's body take several steps forward, closer to Adam's body. From the right side of Mamat, another knife approached. Adam's movement attracted Mamat who was so fast, not giving the thug a chance to pull the knife. It made the knife stuck in Mamat's right arm.

"Arrghh," cried Mamat because he felt his hand hurt so much after being stabbed by a knife.

Although Mamat "protected him" from another thug attack, it did not make Adam have the intention to release the man just like that. Mamat could still be his shield to accept the attacks of other thugs.

With one pull, Mamat's position changed from the previous position. Not only that, Adam also moved a few inches to avoid the knife coming from behind him. Two knives stabbed Mamat. One on the stomach, one on the back.

It made Mamat's cry even louder than before. With one of his hands that was not holding a knife, Mamat immediately held onto his wounded stomach. Since his friend used a power that was not small, the puncture wound was quite sharp.

If Mamat does not get help immediately, he will surely die from blood loss. Of course Mamat did not want that to happen to him.

However, the attacks of the thugs were not finished yet. Mas Aryo immediately pulled his knife which was still stuck on Mamat's back. It made the blood on the puncture wound, come out more.

With a quick movement, Mas Aryo made a piercing motion with the blade. The target was Adam's head, which was not too far from Mamat's body. However, Adam moved quickly to release Mamat.

Adam then used his free hand, blocking Mas Aryo's hand in time. If he was one second late, then the knife in Mas Aryo's hand would stab him in the eye.

Although the situation looks very desperate, but Adam still looks very calm. He seemed to consider this situation was not something that endangered his life.

The hand of Adam that held Mas Aryo's hand, now turned into a grip. With one move, the man directly slammed Mas Aryo. Making the man raskarang fall near Mamat, who was already unconscious.

"Damn. Apparently our opponent is quite difficult. Joni, come back and call the others. We have to make this bitch stay here. He made Mamat like that. There's a price he has to pay" said Mas Aryo quite coldly.

From his posture, Adam did not look like a person who could fight. Apparently, Mas Aryo was wrong for underestimating Adam from his weak-looking appearance. He needed to ask for help from others if he wanted to defeat Adam.

"Okay, Mas Aryo," replied Joni who immediately ran towards the village of jewelers.

Adam certainly didn't let this happen. If Joni brings in reinforcements, it will make him have more opponents. Surely Adam would not be one hundred percent sure he could face these thugs and their reinforcements.

Now, the only one who is still conscious is Mas Aryo. The man still did not say anything, after being quite shocked by what Adam was able to do. Fear also began to attack Mas Aryo.

The man Mas Aryo was facing was not only good at fighting, but he could make moves that might kill someone without touching him. Imagine if the thing that Adam kicked was a knife or other taper. There will definitely be two bodies here.

"Master, forgive me sir. I didn't know you were such a great man. I've been so guilty of fighting you like this" said Mas Aryo begging for forgiveness. The man hoped that this way Adam would forgive him. He still wants to live. Adam could kill him anytime.

"I can't forgive you. If I didn't have the ability to defend myself, then you would have killed me right? So, I can't forgive you guys for that" said Adam coldly.

Adam immediately approached Mas Aryo. He did not care at all about the cry of mercy from Mas Aryo. With a quick movement, Adam kicked Mas Aryo in the head. It made the man faint immediately.

"Now, I need to get these people off the road. At least, they would wake up a few hours later. When that time came, I was not here" Adam murmured.

Adam did not care that Mamat was now severely injured and was losing a lot of blood. The man also did not care whether Mamat could survive or not later. They want his life. It's good enough Adam let them live and didn't kill them.

Before leaving, Adam took all the knives from these thugs. It also ransacked their bodies, looking for valuables, which they might have brought. From the pockets of these thugs, Adam found a few grams of gold.
