Currently, Adam was in the village of gold craftsmen. He wants to sell the gold back to him. With the space ring he had now, naturally Adam could buy more items for sale in the Guerio Continent.
So Adam wanted to sell as much gold as he had. The man also plans to sell to other cities so as not to interfere too much with the amount of gold circulating in the market.
"So, how much gold are you going to sell?" ask Pakde Gani to Adam.
"How much can you buy?"
The old man in front of Adam did not immediately reply. In fact, before he always answered directly if Adam asked so. Pakde Gani only looked at him with a sharp tattoo for an hour.
"Have you been here before? Why does your question seem familiar to me?" ask Pakde Gani.
This is not the first time Adam has sold his gold. Every time Adam changed his appearance. The man also changed his way of speaking so as not to be too easily recognized. Starting from intonation, logic, and the way he behaved, as much as possible Adam made different.
However, as hard as Adam tries to create a new identity by doing all that, there are still habits that the man cannot eliminate. As it is today, Adam could not dispel his habit of asking how much gold Pakde Gani could afford.
The alarm alarm alarm alarm alarms start Adam immediately sounded after hearing Pakde Gani's speech. The man knew Gani suspected him. This made Adam need to be even more vigilant after this.
"I've never been here before. Only, I heard from my friend that this place of yours is a gold craftsman who wants to buy quite a lot of gold at one time. So, I wonder how much gold you can buy," Adam replied.
"Ah like that apparently. Lately there are some young people who sell their gold here. The number is quite a lot. Therefore, I cannot afford to buy more gold now" explained Pakde Gani who looks helpless with the amount of gold he receives.
"If you want to sell your gold, you can sell it to Gino. He's my brother. He could also afford to buy gold in large quantities. The place is only one kilometer from here, not too far away," explained Pakde Gani.
"Yes. The gold that I have now, is more than enough to fulfill the order of jewelry that came to me. Just come to Dino," replied Pakde Gani who once again promoted his sister's place.
"alright. I'll do it" replied Adam.
After getting the direction of the road to get to Gino's house, Adam immediately out of Pakde Gani's place. The location of Gino's house that is not too far away makes Adam decide to walk there. Moreover, Adam did not bring any vehicles as long as he sold his gold in the next town.
Just a few meters Adam left the place where Pakde Gani, he felt some people who followed him. They did look like someone who happened to be walking in the same direction. But Adam did not believe that.
Adam felt Pakde Gani had planned something for him. With the man refusing to buy Adam's gold and instead recommending it to his sister, it made Adam suspicious. Moreover, Pakde Gani looks very enthusiastic when recommending his sister.
When he arrived at a crossroad, Adam chose to turn left, the direction that is very opposite to the direction of Gino's house. This is the way home. If these people who are now following him are Pakde Gani's men, then they will follow him after this. Otherwise, they will most likely take a different direction.
But these people followed Adam. Their footsteps were also heard at a speeding. Maybe they want to catch up with Adam soon. This road will be very quiet after this. If indeed they intend to be evil, Adam thought after this was the right time to attack. No one will know what they are doing here.
"It seems, Pakde Gani is not entirely good. I guess when he kicked out Mamat, the goldsmith who tried to cheat on me, Pakde Gani was a good guy. But everyone is the same. There are no really good people in this world" Adam murmured inwardly.
All of these events made it quite difficult for Adam to trust others with just their looks, or their little deeds. Appearances can be deceiving, deeds can be impersonated. No one is truly honest in this world. Adam himself had lied and covered up his mind.
"Hey, young man. Stop that!" a voice shouted from behind Adam.
"Heh, apparently they are impatient and will move now," said Adam in his heart.
