Adam was quite serious about reading the book in front of him. At first, he could not read this book because it looked very different from all the writing Adam knew. However, Jason helped him create a small dictionary to help Adam understand the original letters on the Guerio Continent.

The grammar and pronunciation of words on the Continent of Guerio are not much different from the language that Adam understood on the Blue Planet. So, after he memorized all these letters, Adam had no trouble reading the book he had just bought.

Adam only bought two books on magic. A book about the basic knowledge of magic. Then, another one regarding the records belonging to someone who studied magic, in which contains a simple magic spell that Adam could learn. This was Jason's suggestion that Adam could make it easier to learn magic.

In fact, there were still enough books that Adam could buy to expand his knowledge of magic. However, Jason said that Adam did not have to rush to buy too many books. If Adam had no talent in this field, there would not have been much money Adam wasted on buying magic books.

Although this is only a basic book that mostly contains general knowledge about magic, the price of the book is not that cheap. These two books alone made Adam spend almost three thousand Kyra gold. That expensive.

This made Adam realize that the item he was selling was not very valuable when compared to the magic item in the Guerio Continent. A very common book can be sold this expensive. Meanwhile, Adam's watch, which is very unique and has nothing to match, cannot be sold too expensive, because it is not a magic item.

"So, a Mage would absorb the mana around them. Then, they will store the mana into the ocean where it is in their bodies. After quite a lot, a Mage could utilize this mana to power the magic they were about to do," Adam shot, repeating the information he got from the book he was reading.

"Hmm, this is very common information. Some games or novels also discuss the same thing as those in this book. I'm a little sorry to pay over a thousand gold Kyra just for this simple information."

Adam then began to catch his breath, following the directions in the book. Five normal breaths, then hold your breath for twenty seconds, then take a deep breath. This is a breathing technique that is in the book. This is also one of the keys to helping her feel mana.

The guy is really happy now. At least he could sense where he was. This meant that he had the potential to become a mage. He only needed to train to gather mana and expand the sea of mana.

If all that he has done, then Adam can go to the next stage, start learning magic. It's a long journey. Adam was ready to do it all.

Adam then concentrated again. He could not celebrate his small success for too long. If later he can really do magic, then that's the right time for Adam to do the celebration.

Adam tried to pull out the mana around him to be absorbed into the body. But that was very hard for Adam to do. It's a lot harder than trying to feel mana. Adam needed to catch which balls were flying around him with the power of his mind.

However, when Adam is close and will catch the balls where they are, they will immediately avoid. This is what made Adam a little upset. Moreover, trying to capture mana drained his energy.

Adam immediately opened his eyes after feeling his mind was very tired.

"It seems like I can't practice collecting mana for too long. It's only been a few minutes. However, I'm already very tired, not physically, but mentally" Adam murmured.

"It's been able to do something this good, it's not bad. I still have the potential to learn magic. This is the most important thing. I can strengthen myself slowly later. No need to rush," said Adam encouraged himself.

"Now, I need to rest. Tomorrow I have to go home to the Blue Planet in the morning. I made an appointment to meet Rani. If I was late, he would be very worried" Adam murmured.

Adam is currently living on the continent of Guerio. He did this because he needed to know whether he had the potential to become a witch or not. Adam doesn't know if there's anywhere on the Blue Planet. So, the man chose to stay overnight at one of the inns.
